FY26 SAP on Azure Partner Incentives – Community FAQ
1. What is the Azure Accelerate incentives program for SAP in FY26? A: Azure Accelerate (FY26) is Microsoft’s unified partner investment program that rewards partners for driving SAP cloud migration projects on Azure. It merges previous, separate offers into one cohesive program covering all SAP deployment scenarios—whether native SAP on Azure, RISE with SAP (private cloud), or SAP GROW (public cloud SaaS). The goal: accelerate SAP cloud projects by offsetting partner costs and encouraging best practices, making SAP on Azure deals more attractive and profitable. 2. Who is eligible for these incentives? Answer: Partners: Must be enrolled in the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program and have achieved the SAP on Microsoft Azure Advanced Specialization. Enrollment in the Microsoft Commerce Incentives (MCI) program is also required. Customers: Commercial customers with significant SAP migration projects. Public sector deals are generally excluded. Extremely large strategic accounts may use custom funding instead. 3. How do partners apply for these incentives? Answer: Nominate the project in Microsoft Partner Center (Incentives > Engagements (MCI)), selecting the relevant Azure Accelerate – SAP offer. Provide customer/project details (including Azure Tenant ID). Customer must approve participation via email. Automatic approval for standard projects; large deals may require manual review. Deliver the engagement within the specified timeframe. Submit Proof of Execution (PoE) in Partner Center (assessment report, customer sign-off, etc.). Microsoft reviews and pays out via your usual partner payout method. Note: The 2.5% sales incentive is claimed via email to gpic@microsoft.com with required documentation. 4. What are the key timelines and deadlines? Answer: Completion Window: Pre-sales assessment: 60–120 days Migration/deployment: ~180 days Claim Submission: Typically within 30 days of completion Program Duration: FY26 (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026). All projects and claims must fall within this period. 5. How do these incentives reflect the Microsoft and SAP partnership? Answer: These incentives are part of a broader strategic partnership between Microsoft and SAP aimed at accelerating SAP’s move to the cloud (specifically Azure). The Azure Accelerate (SAP) program is a joint go-to-market effort to encourage cloud adoption, especially for midmarket customers. SAP’s involvement ensures the offers cover scenarios like RISE with SAP (private cloud) and GROW (SaaS ERP) on Azure—so the incentives apply whether the deal is sold by SAP or the partner, as long as Azure is the platform. 6. How can partners leverage these incentives in their go-to-market strategy? Answer: Offer free/low-cost SAP on Azure assessments (funded by Microsoft) to open doors with customers. Reduce customer costs or improve your margins by applying post-sale funding to project pricing. Stack all three incentives on a single deal for maximum ROI. Market the partnership: Highlight Microsoft and SAP’s joint investment in your proposals and marketing. Utilize Microsoft resources: Tap into engineering support, marketing materials, and the Azure Cloud Accelerate Factory. Plan for timelines: Train your team to nominate deals and collect required documentation promptly. 7. Can partners stack multiple incentives on a single deal? Answer: Yes! Partners are encouraged to utilize all applicable incentives for each deal. For example, you can claim pre-sales assessment funding, the 2.5% deal win bonus, and post-sales deployment funding on the same project. Stacking incentives maximizes your ROI and can cover 20–30% (or more) of the project’s first-year Azure value. 8. What documentation is required to claim incentives? Answer: Pre-Sales Assessment: Submit the assessment report or deliverable provided to the customer. Post-Sales Migration: Submit a customer sign-off letter/email confirming successful migration, plus a brief project summary or architecture document. Sales Closure Incentive: Provide the customer contract/order form, evidence that SAP will run on Azure, and the completed incentive claim form (“Attachment A”). For all claims, ensure the customer’s Azure Tenant ID is included and all documentation is clear and complete. 9. What happens if a project is delayed or the claim deadline is missed? Answer: If you anticipate missing a completion or claim deadline, contact Microsoft or your Partner Development Manager as soon as possible. Extensions may be granted in some cases, but if deadlines are missed without communication, the funding reservation may lapse and the claim could be rejected. Always monitor your project timelines and submit claims promptly to avoid losing incentive eligibility. 10. Where can I find more information or support on the incentives and manage my deals? Answer: The Microsoft Partner Center is your central hub for all things related to SAP on Azure incentives. Here’s how to use it effectively: Nominate and Track Deals: Go to Incentives > Engagements (MCI) to nominate new SAP on Azure projects for funding. Use the dashboard to monitor the status of all your nominations, including approval, completion, and payout stages. Submit and Manage Claims: After completing an engagement, upload your Proof of Execution (PoE) directly in Partner Center. The portal will show deadlines for each engagement—keep an eye on these to avoid missing out. Check Payouts and Earnings: View your incentives earnings statements and payment status in the Earnings section. Payment cycles are typically monthly or quarterly; Partner Center will show when funds are disbursed. Access Resources and Support: Find program guides, templates, and FAQs in the Partner Center resource library. For technical issues or questions about eligibility, use the built-in support ticketing system or reach out to your Partner Development Manager. Stay Updated: Partner Center is regularly updated with new program details, deadlines, and documentation requirements. Make it a habit to log in regularly and review notifications. To Learn More: To learn more about Microsoft's SAP Programs and Offers, visit Migrate and Modernize SAP. Tip: Bookmark the Partner Center and ensure your sales and delivery teams have access. Most incentive issues can be resolved quickly if you use the portal as your single source of truth. By leveraging the FY26 SAP on Azure incentives, partners can boost profitability, de-risk projects, and deliver more value to customers—while being backed by Microsoft and SAP.31Views0likes0CommentsRegister now: CSP Technical Training Series

Deployments score is calculated by dividing the Active usage values by the Qualified usage values and multiplying by 100 - this result must be greater than or equal to 40 percent, in order for achieving points required for membership qualification, If the results are less than 40 percent, then the customer in question will not meet the basic requirements, and no points are given. As of now, the Active usage value is the number of licenses available on a tenant, and not the actual amount of active users with a valid license assigned. Customers often have licenses with yearly commitment and also have an overage of MS 365 licenses, due to employee hirings and layoffs. This means that the calculated usage percentage if mostly lower than the real life percentages and can never reach 100%. If a customer has a negative development in employee count during the year, it can result in a declining usage score, negatively affecting the points required for the Partners membership eligibility. This even if the actual usage percentage in the customer's end is increasing. We think that the calculation for Deployment score should be changed to reflect the number of acutal active and licensed users (like the Active usage value) , and not be based on the number of licenses available on the tenant.Pending Oct 1 Direct Bill requirement changes.
Has anyone figured out a way to move Azure Plan subscriptions from Direct CSP to Indirect CSP without incurring customer downtime? Microsofts stance on this is absurd. Move and rebuild resources in a new Azure Plan subscription because technically Microsoft cannot reassign billing and they cornered all their new as of last year direct bill partners into tripling their revenue in 5 months with their May 2025 announcement. (300k to 1M) My clients have resources deployed that are supported but discontinued for new deployments and have global resources that cannot be subscription moved. None of this work was planned in their development budgets. I'm supposed to give them an extended, unplanned downtime so that their subscriptions are not locked due to these new Direct bill requirements. Every part of this move requires downtime in operations that was not requested by my customers. They will not look at the business continuity outage Microsoft is causing them favorably. Has anyone made any headway towards a reasonable solution to the problem. Thanks Derek LicciardiMicrosoft In a Day (XIAD) Partner Events Program - Train the Trainer Events (DIAD/FAIAD/RTIAD)

Hi all, As mentioned in the last community call, we're seeing some users get an "Access Restricted" error when they try to access the Training Services Partner dashboard on Partner Center. This is not impacting your KPIs, just your view to those KPIs. Thanks to everyone who messaged me with their details after the call. I've compiled the errors and sent to the engineering team for further investigation. I will update you here when there is news to share.Unable to pass Employment Verifcation step in Partner Center
Hello everyone, I am stuck at the Employment Verification step while trying to enroll in the Microsoft Partner Center. I have already submitted the required documents, including the domain invoice and the assignment letter, but Microsoft responded with: "Based on the information you have provided to date, we have determined that your organization does not currently meet the requirements to pass verification." This leaves me very confused, as the reply does not explain what exactly is missing or what additional documents are required. I have carefully checked the documentation, but there is no clear guidance. As a company focusing on IT security, this is extremely frustrating. We recently shifted from Linux to Windows development, and without a Microsoft Partner account we are unable to proceed with building kernel-level antivirus solutions for our users. This has a devastating impact on our business. Could anyone please share their experience or advise on what specific documents or requirements Microsoft usually expects in order to pass Employment Verification? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!Partner Enablement Calls for CSP Partners!

We have a customer with 40 Windows kiosks that use Edge to access a single website. They will all be Windows 11 Pro 25H2 shortly, well maybe, see below. The problem is when set setup assigned access with a kiosk account no matter how much we clean up the bloat, disable unneeded services, strip out all the startup tasks in the registry, remove all the provisioned bloatware, disable all the consumer app update services we still get this: This happens on 11 Pro 22H2 and continues through 25H2. It does not happen on 21H2. I have to find a way to fix this OR they've told us to take them to Ubuntu and if they go to Ubuntu. How can we hunt this down? There are no events in the Event Viewer under Assigned Access, literally 0 on any of the kiosks. We've created extensive scripts that purge appx apps, stop all the consumer update services, even remove the Intel Management Engines that we don't care about on the kiosks, but none of that stops this message. I just can't understand how MS can put out an OS that supports kiosk mode and for years this issue happens. In kiosk mode every other setting should be overridden, nothing else should be allowed to run for any reason other than the assigned access application, in this case Edge. Honestly, it was easier back in the Win7 days when you replaced the shell and created a couple hundred GP entries to lock down the system into a kiosk-mode like system. October 1 Update: If the achievement code button is still not working for you, please send me a direct message with your company name and the email address you're using to access the Learn Admin account. To send me a direct message, click on my name / icon. Please do not post personally identifiable information in the forum itself. Thank you. September 23 Update: the vast majority of partners have reported that they have regained access to achievement codes. However, based on some of the comments in this thread not everyone has seen a fix. First, please follow the steps regarding the hard refresh below. We have had some partners that said they still couldn't access codes after the fix and when we had them follow the refresh steps all was good again. If that still hasn't fixed the problem, I recommend creating a new admin account on Learn. You can find the documents for that here. Once you complete the process it takes about a day for the admin account to be provisioned. I know it's a workaround, but you should regain access quicker than if we wait for a fix on the old accounts. At the same time, I do want to report to the team those accounts that still cannot access so they can determine the root cause. Please send me a direct message (click on my name / icon from any post) and let me know the email address that you are using for Learn admin that still does not have access and approximately how long you've been using that admin account. I want to understand if this remaining issue is weighted toward newer users or those that have been leveraging achievement codes for a long time. Thank you. ____________ September 11 Update #2 : we have confirmed the reappearance of the achievement code button in handful of partner accounts. We are optimistic that this has been applied to all partner accounts but still want to gather data before we claim a total fix. Please check to see if your account has regained access to the achievement code button If you still do not see it, please try these steps Close all browser windows Open a new browser and go to https://learn.microsoft.com Sign in using your Outlook.com Class Administrator account Navigate to a course or learning path detail page Perform a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5) If it still does not work, please add a reply to this thread so that we can continue to evaluate any access gaps. September 11 Update: it is apparent that this achievement code outage is now impacting most, if not all, Training Services Partners. The engineering team is working to identify where and how the issue grew so that we can properly plan a fix. Based on my knowledge of the situation this is a fix that will come in days, not hours. I will continue to update this thread each business day until we get all achievement codes back online. September 5 Update: Engineering is progressing on a fix. The soonest we would see proper functionality is end of next week (around the 12th). I will provide an additional update then. August 27 Update: Engineering is working on this and the right people are involved. Not to get too into the weeds, but it's a database migration issue across two distinct teams. They understand the urgency, and I'll bring you more updates as soon as I receive them. August 14 Update: The issue has been identified. I do not yet have a time to resolution to share but will update here when I know more. August 8 Update: We are aware there is an issue with newly onboarded partners attempting to access achievement codes for the first time. We are working on the issue but do not currently have timing on a solution. I will update here when more information becomes available. Thanks.ANNOUNCEMENT: New Demand Generation Resources now available!

Hey, sorry for the very newbie question, but everyone has to start somewhere! I get this cryptic incantation when trying to connect an essentially greenfields D365 BC (a small bit of progress through assisted setup) and a similarly vanilla D365 Sales instance, using the very latest updates on 2025 wave 2 (like I've applied this weeks coming update and any and all of the background app updates etc afaik is totally up-to-date at 28 Sep 2025 - maybe this is new and because we're living bleeding edge, may possibly be a heads up for someone out there, I really dont know.
