Migration from Navision 16 On-Premise to BC365 On-Premise
Is there any deadline provided by Microsoft for migration of On-Premise Navision 16 to On-Premise Business Central 365 with 1:3 license ratio offers for the perpetual licenses subscribed in Navision 16?rajudhungelDec 19, 2024Copper Contributor35Views0likes2CommentsISV for On-Prem
Hi all, We would like to develop an ISV app for on-premise deployments with our own object range (reserved by Microsoft). What are the steps that we need to take in order to allow such object range on our customers' licenses? Are there steps to take via the partner center? Thanks in advance!Y_ADevDec 19, 2024Copper Contributor6Views0likes0CommentsISV Offering SaaS vs On-Prem
Hi all, We are a partner and have some apps on the marketplace (appsource) for customers to download. We would like to offer the same apps for on-premise deplyments as well. How would we go about object numbers and customers' licenses? How do we add our object id range we develop in to be part of the customers' license? Thanks in advance!Y_ADevDec 18, 2024Copper Contributor37Views0likes2CommentsBridge 2 Cloud- Migrating CSP Partner During Term
We have a customer wanting to move from their existing CSP provider to ourselves, but they have a ‘bridge 2 cloud’ promotion of 40% discount which is mid-term. Can you confirm whether we could leverage this offer for them if we migrated their services to us, and whether the discount would carry over to us and be honoured so that they are not affected. If so, is there a particular process that would need to be followed or is it the same as migrating any CSP customer? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/commerce/subscriptions/what-if-my-subscription-expires?view=o365-worldwide When investigating about this topic, it is often confused with "how long customers can access to the database even Microsoft support team. In fact, we were once told that the database (environment) will be destroyed step by step 30days after subscription is expired. However, this document explains that "the data will be deleted after 90days". Does this mean Business Central environment remains for 90days as it is and will be deleted after 90days? Are customers able to use the same environment without issue if they re-purchase the license within 90days after the subscription is expired?Yuko_MizunoDec 12, 2024Copper Contributor68Views0likes1CommentMicrosoft Ignite 2024 Book Of News

Microsoft announced the end of sales of Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premise last year. Business Central Cloud is the only option for new customers after 4/1/2025 (if they wish to purchase Business Central) in most of the countries. But how about China? Does anyone know if Microsoft has a plan to release Business Central Cloud in China? F.Y.I. I have confirmed with the APOC operation team that the existing NAV customers are allowed to transition to Business Central on-premise after 4/1/2025.SolvedYuko_MizunoDec 02, 2024Copper Contributor111Views0likes4CommentsPartner Opportunity to Influence the ISV Copilot Tooling Roadmap.

Hi all, Microsoft announced a general price increase of D365 licenses, with a increase of 10-15% for certain suites. See following blog:New pricing for Microsoft Dynamics 365 effective October 2024 - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Blog. I wonder how this price increase will affect the Base/Attach model and combinations you can make. Eg. the D365 Sales Enterprise license with increase from $95 --> $105. While the D365 BC Premium will remain on $100 (no increase for BC). This means, Sales Enterprise will be more expensive than BC Premium. Currently we can attach Sales Enterprise on a BC Premium license: General rule of thumb is that the Base license must be the highest priced license, and Attach licenses should be the cheaper licenses. But with this price change this will be turned around between Sales/BC. So how will this price increase impact the Base/Attach model for such cases and existing customers?
