Pre-Sales Funded Engagement - Business Apps - CRM Vision & Value - Eligibilty
Hi community we are studying the delivery guide for funded engagement CRM Vision & Value. We have some customer eligibility related questions, so I appreciate some clarification from Microsoft. Thanks! Ralf The provided TCO calculator and the Delivery Guide gives the impression that funding is ONLY available if our prospect migrates from Salesforce to D365 CRM. What if our prospect is ..... 1. ... using Excel sheets to manage support tickets - not eligible for funding? 2. ... using Monday.com, or hubspot to manage sales - not eligible for funding? 3. ... using a self-made application to manage campaigns - not eligible for funding?RalfWJun 13, 2025Copper Contributor693Views0likes6CommentsPartner Registration Penalty Box
I'm trying to register as a partner but getting an error stating "http://www.microsoftintegrity.com/. We engage in a rigorous set of evaluation and certification processes; as a result your request was blocked. If you require further information please reach out to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=868372 with reference number: XXXXXXX" The problem is I can't get into the Partner Portal, as I'm not yet a partner, to raise said support request. I've tried to request resolution through Office 365 portal, hoping they'd facilitate contact with partner support but they seem to be confused as to how to facilitate the connection. I have no clue why I'm getting this error as I use the DUNS lookup to provide company information. I've also entered it in by hand. Would love to become a Microsoft partner with my venture but need some support to overcome this "penalty box" Anyone have ideas?janitorJun 12, 2025Copper Contributor67Views0likes3CommentsI'm unable to login to https://dynamicspartners.transform.microsoft.com/
Hi, I'm unable to login to https://dynamicspartners.transform.microsoft.com/. Nothing happens when I try to press the login button on the upper right corner. Result has been the same with three different browsers (Firefox, Chrome & Edge) and with two different PCs. Our IT says that I have the same rights than my predecessor who used to handle MS incentive cases. I am unable to for example download Proof of Execution documentation f.e: https://dynamicspartners.transform.microsoft.com/download/protected?assetname=protectedassets%2FPartner%20Activities%20-%20Business%20Value%20Assessment%20-%20POE%20Template.pptx&protected=1 Nothing happens when I open that link. What rights should I have to be able to login to https://dynamicspartners.transform.microsoft.com/? Any ideas that what could be causing this? -OssiSolvedossikulmalaJun 03, 2025Copper Contributor557Views0likes10CommentsCSP potential customer on MCA multitant/ shareholding
Hello, Thank you for the opportunity to write about this. We have a request where a customer would like to implement Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations on a multi-tenant basis. However, there are now the challenges that the customer wants to map several holdings of his company network in his productive environments. Is this a license violation if the customer includes company holdings from his company network, as shown in the diagram? In my opinion, it is clear from the MCA that the customer cannot license company A in his tenant under CSP in the case of minority shareholdings. Is this correct? AS employees of companies B and C provide services for company A, the customer would like a one- tenant solution Is it possible to reach an agreement with Microsoft for this company construct without concluding an EA? Thank you!NJUSTENMay 26, 2025Copper Contributor64Views1like3CommentsDowngrade license for business central 21
We have a client who requires our vertical developed in C/AL code. We are currently in the process of migrating our development. However, we need to be able to downgrade from version 25 of the software our client has purchased to version 21 of Business Central on-premises in order to obtain the .flf license. We understand that the updated licensing policies only allow downgrading from two previous versions, but the flf licenses have been retired, and the latest version that contains them is 21. What can we do in this case to authorize a downgrade? As an additional note, our client's license is perpetual.SolvedAlexBolañosMay 19, 2025Copper Contributor41Views0likes1CommentMaximum No. of Users for Performance
Hi, We are migrating a customer from Business Central 21 on premise to Business Central SaaS. They currently have 1,100 users and a database that is roughly 1TB (When migrate to SaaS it is roughly 450GB). They are concerned by Microsoft documentation and various links from third parties that say best performance is 300 users (How many users can Business Central support?) and (Service scalability for Business Central online - Business Central | Microsoft Learn). Is there a set limit that affects performance of the infrastructure? ThanksDAVIDM4PSApr 25, 2025Copper Contributor151Views1like3CommentsNecessity of Order Lines Licenses
Hello everyone, A customer would like to connect an external third party warehouse management system to Finance & Supply Chain. This system accesses the Sales Order Line. Is the Operations - Order Line license necessary for this? The customer argues that the “Users of WMS” could also be equipped with D365 licenses and would then be licensed. Thank you in advanceSolvedJulianLicensingApr 04, 2025Copper Contributor161Views1like5CommentsClaiming EA customers -> always claim TWICE!!
In the last couple of weeks, we have been struggling with the number of Deployments in the Business Applications designation (section Customer Success). Customer adds are present, but no flow towards Deployments. It appears that since the moment that Incentives on Usages of licenses (OSU) have been deprecated (about two years ago?), you have to claim the EA customer TWICE!! Not only should you claim a customer as CPOR for Build Intent – Advisor to get the former OSA incentives on bought licenses, but you also have to claim the Usage Recognition – Non Incentivized (Microsoft calls it CPOR OSU) as shown below: We think it is strange that you have to claim a customer twice! It is what it is, we have no choice until Microsoft realizes that this is a mistake on their part and changes the claim system....we from our part are pushing on that!Marcel_AltenaMar 12, 2025Copper Contributor117Views2likes1Comment
