Hey, sorry for the very newbie question, but everyone has to start somewhere! I get this cryptic incantation when trying to connect an essentially greenfields D365 BC (a small bit of progress through assisted setup) and a similarly vanilla D365 Sales instance, using the very latest updates on 2025 wave 2 (like I've applied this weeks coming update and any and all of the background app updates etc afaik is totally up-to-date at 28 Sep 2025 - maybe this is new and because we're living bleeding edge, may possibly be a heads up for someone out there, I really dont know. Cannot sync Country when connecting greenfields D365 BC <-> Dataverse (and onto D365 Sales) - Business Process Error: Choice member name to[o] long. dyn365bc_countryregionaddressformat_v2_0.City_x002B_County_x002B_Post_x0020_Code_x0020__x0028_no_x0020_commax0029 When performing the Dataverse connection and trying to enable all of the available fields, the above error message appears, and no matter what the dropdown is set to, the choice in the error doesn't seem to change, in PowerApps, in Choices, is no entries for 'dyn365bc_country' (but plenty of others), has been setting up for a day and a half half sync'ed, country not published nor trying, but seemingly leaving some of the rest in limbo. I asked CoPilot, ChatGPT et al and poked around without coming up with anything, didnt pass the google test, thought maybe an MS Call, but we try not to take the mickey and at least try firstAnyone have the information on Business Central pricing?
We were expecting to find the new local pricing of D365BC in the CSP preview price list of October, 2025, but there was no BC SKUs in the list. I searched for the information if the price change was postponed or cancelled but can't find any. What I can find is only the blog and the PartnerDeck/FAQ in PartnerHub announced in May, and no news since then. The local CSP support team even did not know about the price change of D365BC. Since we have several customers whose renewals are on October 1, we need to work on quotations asap. Hello, Thank you for the opportunity to write about this. We have a request where a customer would like to implement Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations on a multi-tenant basis. However, there are now the challenges that the customer wants to map several holdings of his company network in his productive environments. Is this a license violation if the customer includes company holdings from his company network, as shown in the diagram? In my opinion, it is clear from the MCA that the customer cannot license company A in his tenant under CSP in the case of minority shareholdings. Is this correct? AS employees of companies B and C provide services for company A, the customer would like a one- tenant solution Is it possible to reach an agreement with Microsoft for this company construct without concluding an EA? We have a client who requires our vertical developed in C/AL code. We are currently in the process of migrating our development. However, we need to be able to downgrade from version 25 of the software our client has purchased to version 21 of Business Central on-premises in order to obtain the .flf license. We understand that the updated licensing policies only allow downgrading from two previous versions, but the flf licenses have been retired, and the latest version that contains them is 21. Hi, We are migrating a customer from Business Central 21 on premise to Business Central SaaS. They currently have 1,100 users and a database that is roughly 1TB (When migrate to SaaS it is roughly 450GB). Last summer, I watched the webinar on the launch of D365 Customer Insight (https://learning.eventbuilder.com/event/76690 In the webinar, they showed the slide about the transitional offer for the existing customers that they could renew their existing D365 Marketing subscription till September 1, 2025. Not only EA but also CSP customers. However, I was reading this Learn page which explains that "This renewal must be made during the transitional offer window that will run through September 1, 2024". https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-insights/journeys/ci-faq#general This would effect to some of our customers. Did Microsoft change the schedule or is "2025" just a typo? In fact, the renewal status of one of our customers' subscription is "auto renews on" which means that the subscription will be renewed automatically on the renewal date. If SKUs are not available after current contract is expired, the status should be "expired on", shouldn't it? Microsoft announced that Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premises will only be available until March 31th of 2025. However, one of our Dynamics NAV customers with an active enhancement plan would like to upgrade to the newest version of Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premises at a later date, probably not until beginning of 2026. Will it be possible to make the transition for this customer from Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premises in 2026?Solved
