Microsoft announced the end of sales of Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premise last year. Business Central Cloud is the only option for new customers after 4/1/2025 (if they wish to purchase Business Central) in most of the countries. But how about China? Does anyone know if Microsoft has a plan to release Business Central Cloud in China? F.Y.I. I have confirmed with the APOC operation team that the existing NAV customers are allowed to transition to Business Central on-premise after 4/1/2025.SolvedHow long the Business Central environment remains as it is after subscription is expired?
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/commerce/subscriptions/what-if-my-subscription-expires?view=o365-worldwide When investigating about this topic, it is often confused with "how long customers can access to the database even Microsoft support team. In fact, we were once told that the database (environment) will be destroyed step by step 30days after subscription is expired. However, this document explains that "the data will be deleted after 90days". Does this mean Business Central environment remains for 90days as it is and will be deleted after 90days? Are customers able to use the same environment without issue if they re-purchase the license within 90days after the subscription is expired?Partner Opportunity to Influence the ISV Copilot Tooling Roadmap.

Hi, We are now considering about buying the Action Pack to replace the current Office 365 licenses, excluding the Basic licenses, but the ones with desktop applications (converting those to basic licenses). I understand that there's a hard limit of ten users. What other aspects should we consider before actually buying the Action Pack? I specifically want to avoid things like "I didn't know that..." or "I thought that..." that could occur after buying. The 30 day refund is otherwise a great feature, but if we try this with one user, so take basic Office 365 instead of the Standard (or what is it called?) license and install Office Professional from the Action Pack, I understood the refund is instantly impossible.4.1KViews0likes13CommentsAchieving D365 Specialization Sales - MS keeps partners in the dark wrt retiring certifications
If you are a partner and hold or want to achieve the D365 BizApps Sales Specialization, you are soon in troubled waters. With required certifications retiring, we partners need to plan to replace our 15 Sales/Customer Insights certifications with new ones. However, Microsoft has not informed us which certifications will replace the current ones for Sales Specialization! We are just weeks away from the retiring deadline (Nov 2024)! This is what we face as partners: Total number of staff with a Sales and Cust Insights certs will decrease from a partner's list of skilled people (for Sales Specialization) from Jan 2025. From Nov 2025 you must have replaced these 15 certifications why "some other certifications". MS announced in May 2024 the retiring of these certs. Now, 6 months later, still no plan (and MB-280 in beta!) In other words: Once MS has announced which new certifications will replace Sales/Customer Insights, we partners must get 15 of our team members certified ASAP (with the new eligible certs). This is a BIG ask, surely for small partner teams, and surely an impact on productivity! And no: For most partners aiming for Sales Specialization, it makes no sense to invest into certifications which retire soon. Just saying, as I saw posts recommending getting certified for MB-210/220 now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The current certification requirements for D365 Sales Specialization are: Fifteen (15) individuals must earn at least one of the following intermediate certifications (And minimum of 3 individuals required in each certification): - and these all retired in Nov 2024! Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant Associate Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Insights (Journeys) Functional Consultant Associate Do you realize that ALL these certifications will expire soon!? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Business Central Team Member restriction
Hello Apologies if this is not the correct board for this question. Can someone please help explain what is meant by the following : "Business Central Team Members application module may be customized with maximum 15 additional tables (custom tables or standard Dataverse tables) available to the Business Central Team Members license." Does this 15 tables restriction apply only if a user needs write/edit access within a predefined scenario? If a user needs Read-Only access, they don't have to worry about this restriction? Thank you in advance.SolvedStart your nomination today: FY25 FastTrack Recognized Solution Architect submissions are now OPEN!
