Microsoft 365 Business Premium grant is being discontinued
UPDATED: Microsoft sent affected nonprofit organisations an email similar to the below on Wednesday/Thursday 14/15th May announcing that Microsoft 365 Business Premium grant is being discontinued. A similar message was sent out regarding the end of the Office 365 E1 grant offer. Solution Center transition On May 30, 2025, the deployment of several nonprofit industry solutions will move from Solution Center to Microsoft AppSource and Power Platform Admin Center. A new centralized landing page has been created for you to learn more about the solutions including how to deploy, use and extend. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/industry/nonprofit/ What’s new Solution cards – Each solution has a dedicated card with a summary, deployment links, GitHub references, and usage guidance. Centralized content – Content is be hosted on the Microsoft Learn about the various solutions. Microsoft 365 Business Premium & Office 365 E1 grant discontinuation on CSP and Web Direct channels Microsoft announced on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, that the Microsoft 365 Business Premium grant and Office 365 E1 grant on CSP and Web Direct Channels will be discontinued for nonprofit customers upon their next renewal date on or after July 1, 2025. To support nonprofits during this transition, Microsoft continues to offer: Up to 300 granted licenses of Microsoft 365 Business Basic. Discounts up to 75 percent on many Microsoft 365 nonprofit offers, including Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Office 365 E1. Purpose TSI wants to ensure our solutions for the nonprofit and development communities remain current, relevant, and aligned with emerging technologies. Enhance solution security and compliance. Benefits for Partners GitHub allows partners to tailor solutions to meet customers’ specific needs. Partners can adapt the source code to fine-tune deployments, adding their own IP for repeatable and tailored solutions.
