Partner lockout of Microsoft 365 tenant – looking for advice on next steps
Hello all, I’d appreciate some guidance from the community on a serious situation we are facing. On 12 September 2025, our Microsoft partner unilaterally locked us out of our Microsoft 365 tenant. They retained exclusive Global Administrator / Partner Delegated Admin rights, which means: All staff and directors are unable to access email, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, or even log into their Azure AD-authenticated workstations. Our corporate and staff personal data is now inaccessible to us as the controller. Access restoration has been explicitly conditioned on payment of a disputed invoice (not related to Microsoft licence pass-through). This raises several concerns: Operational: we are effectively paralysed. Security/IP: the partner still has exclusive access to proprietary source code and other confidential business data. Compliance: we cannot meet our GDPR/UK DPA obligations on availability of personal data while locked out. We contacted Microsoft Business Conduct on Friday evening with full details of the incident, but so far no human response has been received to those emails. Questions for the community From a Microsoft tenancy perspective – what’s the fastest/most effective way to remove a partner’s delegated admin access if they refuse to release it voluntarily? Has anyone experienced or seen a similar scenario where access was conditioned on disputed payments? Are there formal Microsoft Partner Code of Conduct provisions that directly address this type of misuse of delegated admin rights? Any practical lessons on balancing the technical fix (regaining control of the tenant) with the legal approach (injunction, regulatory notifications)? My focus is on regaining secure access, protecting data/IP, and ensuring compliance. Any experience, insight, or links to Microsoft policy/resources would be greatly appreciated.Solved

Is it possible to extend the MCT End User Qualification program?

Looking for some advice and opinions please. This is for a standalone Dataverse environment. Not Dynamics 365, or Power Apps, or Power Pages. The question is about using a Dataverse environment with the native Dataverse web APIs, where a portal is developed (not Power Pages) that allows the external users to interface (read/write) data. My opinion is that because this is not Dynamics 365 and Power Pages are not being utilised to facilitate the access then there is no requirement for user (D365, Power App, or Power Pages capacity) licensing. I would still need Dataverse capacity licenses, but that is all. Appreciate any thought and insights. Thanks, NickSolved
Anyone have the information on Business Central pricing?
We were expecting to find the new local pricing of D365BC in the CSP preview price list of October, 2025, but there was no BC SKUs in the list. I searched for the information if the price change was postponed or cancelled but can't find any. What I can find is only the blog and the PartnerDeck/FAQ in PartnerHub announced in May, and no news since then. The local CSP support team even did not know about the price change of D365BC. Since we have several customers whose renewals are on October 1, we need to work on quotations asap. Seeking Advice on Renewing TSP Designation as a Solo MCT
Hi everyone, I’ve recently registered as a Solutions Partner for Training Services (TSP) and I’m currently reviewing the annual renewal requirements. As a solo MCT, I’m trying to understand whether it’s realistically feasible to meet the thresholds independently, or if collaboration is essential. The renewal criteria include: 2. 1,000 course completion units 3. 200 exam units For someone operating solo, these numbers seem quite high. For example, delivering a course like AI-102 would require 1,000 successful student surveys in a year to meet just one requirement. I’d love to hear from others who’ve navigated this: 1. Has anyone renewed the TSP designation without partnering with a larger organization? 2. What strategies helped you meet the course and exam unit goals? CSP Direct: Margin on Azure Fabric Capacity Reservations missing
We as a CSP Direct Partner do not get any margins on Azure Fabric Capacity Reservations. Is that generally the case, that partners do not get margins on Fabric Reservations? Or are we missing any prerequisites such as certifications, etc.? When we sell Fabric Capacity per as you go, then we get 15% margin ("partner earned credit for services managed").Solved
Users section missing from the new M365 admin center?
Hi all, Microsoft recently started redirecting admin.microsoft.com to admin.cloud.microsoft. People with the correct GDAP roles are able to access the Users section from the admin.microsoft.com admin center, but that section is missing on the new admin.cloud.microsoft admin center. The issue does not appear to be impacting everyone with the appropriate GDAP roles. Has anyone else run into this issue? Support tells me that we are the only partner reporting this issue. Dear Microsoft Certification Support, I am writing to report a critical issue I encountered during my scheduled SC-200 exam on Saturday. I had successfully completed the system check beforehand, but when I launched the Pearson VUE application, it displayed a completely white screen and nothing else loaded. I waited for around 10–15 minutes, but the issue did not resolve. My internet connection was stable and high-speed. Other applications worked fine. To troubleshoot: - I restarted my laptop three times - I switched to another laptop, ran the system check again, and attempted the exam Unfortunately, the white screen issue persisted on both devices. As my exam voucher expires today, I am unable to reschedule or rebook.
