Hello Partner Compliance team, I am requesting an escalation to reopen and re-verify my Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program (MAICPP) enrollment. My application was rejected at the Employment Verification stage and the application has been closed with the banner indicating "no appeals available." However, I have completed substantial remediation since the rejection, and I am requesting a manual review by the Partner Trust & Safety / Vetting team. ACCOUNT DETAILS - Legal entity: Smith Computer Services LLC - State of registration: Illinois, USA - IL SOS File Number: 17193902 - DUNS Number: 142698584 - MPN ID: 7117566 - Tenant: SmithComputerServices.onmicrosoft.com - Business website: https://smithcomputerservices.com - Primary contact: Jamieson Smith, Partner / Member of LLC (please reach out via forum DM for direct contact info) VERIFICATION STATUS - Identity Verification: Passed (completed via IDVS) - Employment Verification: Rejected - Overall status: Rejected (application closed) - The Legal Info page Verification Summary shows "Get support" only; no Fix Now or Resolve path is available in the UI. LIKELY ROOT CAUSE OF EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATION FAILURE I believe Employment Verification failed for two compounding reasons: 1. DOMAIN/IDENTITY MISALIGNMENT (now resolved): At the time of submission, the tenant used only the default .onmicrosoft.com domain, and my primary contact email used a custom domain that was not yet associated with the tenant. This is a known signal that Microsoft's vetting system flags as inconsistent. 2. OWNER-OPERATOR LLC STRUCTURE (structural): I am a Partner / Member of the LLC, not a W-2 employee. As the principal of an owner-operated LLC, I do not appear in third-party employment verification databases (such as The Work Number / Equifax), because as a Member I receive owner distributions rather than W-2 income. This is standard for new small businesses but appears to be a gap in the automated Employment Verification process. There is no separate "employer" to verify me against because I am the principal. REMEDIATION COMPLETED AFTER REJECTION 1. Added smithcomputerservices.com as a verified custom domain in the Microsoft 365 tenant (status: healthy, default). 2. Changed my Global Administrator UPN to align with the verified custom business domain, so the admin login, primary contact email, business domain, and live business website are now fully aligned. 3. Confirmed the business is verifiable in third-party registries (DUNS matches Illinois Secretary of State filing for SMITH COMPUTER SERVICES LLC). 4. Confirmed the live business website is hosted at the matching custom domain. REQUEST Please escalate to the Partner Trust & Safety / Vetting team to: 1. Reopen the rejected MAICPP application for MPN ID 7117566 2. Trigger a fresh re-evaluation now that the domain alignment is in place 3. Treat this as an owner-operator LLC case, where principal verification (not employee verification) is appropriate 4. If additional documentation is required, please specify exactly what document type and where to upload it DOCUMENTATION AVAILABLE ON REQUEST (via DM or support ticket) Appropriate for an owner-operator LLC: - IL Articles of Organization (shows me as Member/Organizer) - IRS EIN Confirmation Letter (CP 575) listing me as Responsible Party - LLC Operating Agreement - Business bank account documentation - Domain registration receipt (Squarespace) showing me as registrant - Government-issued photo ID Thank you for your time. I am building a small managed services provider and need MAICPP active so I can proceed to CSP Indirect Reseller enrollment to support my first client. Jamieson Smith Partner, Smith Computer Services LLCNew community feature: automatic follow link for community sites
The Microsoft Tech Community now has a feature that allows community members to follow any site within the community (for example, this discussion board or the Marketplace blog). To do this, simply add ?action=follow to the end of any site within the community. You will then get a notification asking if you would like to follow that space. "Following" a site allows you to get notifications for activity on that site, such as new posts, replies to comments you posted, when a post you are following is marked as "solved," etc. Here are the links to follow relevant both Marketplace community sites: Marketplace discussion board Marketplace blog Marketplace community eventsTransitioning from Direct Bill to Indirect Reseller
I am sharing our experience regarding transition from DB to IR started 4 months ago to understand the better approach to manage our partner centers in the future. We started transitioning from Direct Bill to Indirect Reseller in November 2025. We currently have: one PGA with two different associated CSP PLAs: Direct Bill PLA and Indirect Reseller PLA. We operate with two different Partner Centers: "first" PC used for the PGA and the Direct Bill PLA "second" used for the Indirect Reseller PLA At the moment, everything is working correctly, as we are actively transferring customers from the Direct Bill model to the Indirect Reseller model, Incentives for the Indirect Reseller (PLA IR) are being received correctly, designations are managed under the PGA tenant, ecc. Regarding TTM, we exceed the 1M‑dollar requirement, but only at the PGA level, as it currently includes both DB and IR revenue. Do you know whether Microsoft requires the 1M‑dollar threshold to be met at the PGA level by combining DB and IR revenue, or if only DB revenue counts for maintaining Direct Bill status? Our other question concerns the end of the customers migration, considering that the Direct Bill PLA will eventually become restricted or revoked. Whether it is recommended to continue using two separate Partner Centers, first for Membership, Incentives, Designations, Earnings, and overall partner management and the second exclusively for CSP Tier-2 customer management. Or whether you suggest alternative or better scenarios for managing the Partner Center structure once the transition is fully completed. Tks for feedback and information. FabrizioSolvedUnable to download files in Training Services Partner Community Calls
Hi Team, I am experiencing an issue when trying to access and download materials from the Training Services Partner Community Calls page. I am able to access the site and log in correctly using my Microsoft-associated account. I can see the available videos and PowerPoint presentations without any problem. However, when I attempt to download the files, I receive the following error message: "Unfortunately, you don't have permission to access this page." This issue occurs consistently for all downloadable content. Could you please review my access permissions or advise on how to resolve this issue so I can download the materials? Thank you in advance for your support.SolvedMCT New and Renewing MCTs - Update July 26
Updated July 26, 2025 As we step into FY26 on July 1st, 2025, I want to share some important updates regarding the MCT Program—especially for those planning to renew. New Fees Coming October 2025, no exact date and the cost will be shared at a later date. Starting July 1st, 2025, we will introduce: A renewal fee (ecommerce tool will be available in October 2025 for everyone to renew) A new MCT enrollment fee (ecommerce tool will be available in October 2025 for new MCTs) Our systems are currently being updated to support this change, with the new tool expected to launch in October 2025. More to come on costs. Pricing will be region supported. Session Requirement for Renewal Effective January 1st, 2026, MCTs will be required to complete six (6) sessions or six (6) days of training per calendar year to qualify for renewal. For clarity on what qualifies as a session, please refer to the attached PDF: Mandatory Use of MTM We will be enforcing stricter requirements for using Metrics That Matter (MTM) to log sessions with your Training Services Partner (TSP). Please coordinate with your TSPs to ensure MTM is being used correctly. What to Expect Next More details on program costs will be shared closer to the tool’s release. All MCTs that were MCTs before manual enrollment have been extended through January 1st, 2026, with full benefits. You’ll see this extension reflected in your profile in your MCT Trainer History NOT active certification. All current MCTs will be able to renew when the tool is available in October 2025 and the requirement to renew will be to have an active certification and have taught one class since your last renewal and pay the renewal fee (costs to come later). We will be checking that you have taught the one class using MTM. New MCTs will need ISC certificate, one role-based active certification and pay the MCT new enrollment fee. New MCT Enrollment Process | Microsoft Learn 🙏 Thank you for your continued support and patience as we enhance our systems. Here’s to a successful and impactful FY26!SolvedIn a Day (xIAD) Partner Events Program - Train the Trainer Events (DIAD/FAIAD/RTIAD/CDIAD/SQLAIAD)

Is there a way to reset a Code Admin Account (e.g. the email address removed for privacy reasons) used for Microsoft Learn learner course and achievement code generation including distribution? Preparation completed by a TSP using the Code Admin Account appears to be carried over to students when they claim their codes. As a result, modules that were previously previewed by the admin are already marked as completed in the students’ module lists once their codes are activated. I may be missing something, but I’ve attached an image showing how students see some course modules already ticked as completed after redeeming their course code. I also have a related question: are trainers able to view their students’ progress for Microsoft Learn training materials redeemed through these course codes? Specifically, can trainers see whether their students are progressing through the self-paced learning modules? If these questions have already been answered elsewhere, I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Any input or guidance would be greatly appreciated to resolve any or all of the above. Thanks in advance.Trouble receiving OTP emails from Microsoft Partner Center
Hello! When clicking the Verify Email button in the location below, the primary contact email is not receiving the OTP verification email. I'm on my 6th Partner Center support ticket attempting to determine out why I am not receiving these emails. Partner center support is quick to help me verify the account manually, but I would really like to see the automated system working as intended to help future partners avoid running into this same issue. Could someone help me track down the email address these messages are coming from? Thanks! -jon For reference, the first few tickets I opened under the following workspace/topic, but the assigned engineers say "you picked the wrong topic try again." Workspace: Account Settings Topic: Account verification > E-mail ownership I ask what set of options I should pick to get my ticket routed to the right team, but I haven't located someone that can answer that question either. I've started choosing a random workspace and topic in the hopes that I get lucky. I don't think this strategy is going to work very well, but the partner center support team haven't suggested a better approach and I'm out of ideas. Maybe if I open enough tickets, someone on the partner center support team will notice and help me out.SolvedNew Learning Journeys now live

Dear team, We are a Distributor and we need to complete a tenant merge. Following that scenario, could you please enlighten me what will happen with our current Solutions Partner Designation (SPD) we have recently renewed? Will we still be able to utilize all benefits coming from the SPD until their next renewal, during which all benefits & SPDs will be counted in total as we will be encountered as "one organization" following our tenant merge completion? Much appreciated in advance for your prompt and critical support to close this the soonest possible. Warm regards, NickSolved57Views1like3CommentsWaiting for Business Verification (2605270040007016)
Hi all, We registered a new company tenant in the MPN program several weeks ago and submitted all required business verification documents, but the verification status remains unresolved. I've opened support ticket 2605270040007016 in the Partner Center portal, but wanted to flag this here as well given the urgency. The MPN ID is a hard dependency for our Azure App registration — without it, we cannot begin testing our product on external tenants. We're completely blocked at step one. Any guidance on what may still be needed to get the documentation approved, or an escalation to the verification team, would be greatly appreciated.Partner Center Registration Issues - Loop - Urgent
