New Azure blog on charting AI & agent strategy with Marketplace
In a new Azure blog, Cyril Belikoff, Vice President, Commercial Cloud and AI Marketing, talks about how organizations are using Microsoft Marketplace as a central hub for discovering, buying, and deploying AI models, applications, and agents to support their AI strategy. He emphasizes that there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach—companies can build custom solutions, buy ready-made ones, or blend both depending on their needs. Marketplace offers thousands of pre-vetted models and AI tools that integrate with existing Microsoft products (like Microsoft Foundry and Copilot), helping teams accelerate time-to-value, maintain governance, and balance agility with oversight as they adopt AI more broadly. Hello Microsoft Community, My company’s Partner Center account currently shows a Suspended status for both the Indirect Reseller and Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider programs, even though we believe we’ve met all requirements. What we’ve done: Completed all security requirements (MFA enabled, security contact designated) Verified business and legal information is up to date Ensured there are no outstanding payments or compliance issues We received a notice about CSP indirect reseller eligibility (USD 1,000 revenue requirement), but our partner confirms our license spend exceeds this threshold. Our questions: Why is the account still suspended if we’ve addressed the stated requirements? Is there a hidden or unaddressed compliance issue? What specific steps must we follow to have the suspension lifted? Can Microsoft reinstate the account once we provide evidence of compliance? We’re unable to perform critical operations like assigning licenses or accessing partner benefits while suspended. Has anyone experienced a similar situation? Any guidance from Microsoft moderators or the community would be greatly appreciated.Upgrade plan for Marketplace offers in admin center
Hi Community, I’m reaching out here after spending nearly 6 months discussing an issue with Microsoft Support, without getting a satisfactory answer. We have published transactable SaaS apps in the Microsoft Marketplace. Each of our SaaS offers includes multiple plans (e.g., Premium, Pro, Leader). About six months ago, our customers started reporting that they could no longer upgrade their plan via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. We were able to reproduce the issue ourselves. Symptom: when attempting to upgrade, the dropdown list that should display available upgrade plans is empty. This functionality worked correctly before. After multiple discussions with Microsoft Support engineers, their supervisor, and their manager, the official response we received is: “change to different plan functionality (for marketplace offers) in Admin Center is by design not enabled, which is why the dropdown does not display available plans.” This directly contradicts Microsoft documentation, which indicates that plan changes should be supported: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/marketplace-offers/pc-saas-fulfillment-life-cycle Despite sharing this documentation, Microsoft Support maintains that this behavior is by design and that customers cannot upgrade plans from the Admin Center. My questions to the community: Are there ISVs here who have published transactable SaaS offers with multiple plans? If so, can your customers upgrade plans through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center? Are your customer experiencing the same issue? Can any SME confirm or contradict Microsoft Support’s statement that “by design, customer cannot upgrade plans using M365 Admin center”? For reference, here is our Microsoft Support ticket ID: 2508260010000694. I’m happy to share additional information upon request. Thank you in advance for any insights or confirmation. Sang, ps: I recently notice change of domain name in M365 admin center and the log showing this. Weird coincidence.Pearson Vue storing personal info in US for EU citizens?
We are located in EU and find it quite unacceptable that we need to agree that this company will store private data from an eID on US servers as it says so explicitly before you can book and exam. They say they comply to EU (aka GPDR) regulation, they even have a EU office (but strangely no phone nor email address for that branch on their website.... what?), so sadly a nogo for our company since data needs to reside in EU.Microsoft Ignite- Meaningful Announcements That Create Real Movement
Now that we are officially in 2026, I want to reflect back on Microsoft Ignite as it was more energized than ever. There is real momentum right now across Microsoft Marketplace, and the most meaningful shift I am seeing is around REO( Reseller Enabled Offer )capability. This is opening the door for partners to take Marketplace offers and bring them directly into new regions, new customer segments, and new routes to market without adding operational friction for either side. A true channel selling motion! For ISVs, REO means you can authorize trusted partners to resell your Marketplace offer in the way that works best for the customer. You no longer need to manage every deal yourself. For partners, it means instant access to in demand AI and security solutions that customers are already asking for. It removes barriers, it speeds up the process, and it connects the ecosystem in a much more natural way. If anyone in the community is exploring REO, private offers, multiparty models, or Marketplace strategy in general, it would be great to hear from you or reach out and would love to discuss. Looking forward to connecting with everyone in the new year. justinroyalDo benefits of different partner programs add up?
Situation I hope my question is located correctly in this community. If not: Please inform me so! We are a small SMB company developing cloud-based software. We bought the Partner Success Core Benefits which grants us 2.400 $ worth of Azure bulk credits and 15 Microsoft 365 Business Premium licenses per year. Goal Our company is working on the qualification for the Solutions Partner "Data & AI" (SMB) status. We plan to buy the respective Solutions Partner designation which will buy us 6.000 $ worth of Azure bulk credits and 100 Microsoft 365 E3 licenses per year. Question Will the benefits of the Partner Success Core Benefits and the Solutions Partner "Data & AI" add up? Example: Partner program Azure bulk credits Microsoft 365 licenses Partner Success Core Benefits 2.400 $ Azure bulk credits 15 (Business Premium) Solutions Partner "Data & AI" 6.000 $ Azure bulk credits 100 (E3) Total (?) 8.400 $ Azure bulk credits? 115 Microsoft 365 licenses? When we qualify for the Solutions Partner "Data & AI" designation, we probably will still be eligible for the Partner Success Core Benefits. There will at least be an overlapping time period where the Partner Success Core Benefits has not yet ended but the Solutions partner designation already has started. In this overlapping period: Do those benefits then add up? Can we use up ALL Azure credits? Or will the benefits be restricted to the higher benefits? Will we then get a refund for the Partner Success Core Benefits Could please someone enlighten us on this issue (and perhaps provide us with a link)? Best regards JPSolved73Views0likes5CommentsNumber of technical support cases for Partner support
Hi everyone, Has anyone noticed that the ASfP (Advanced Support for Partners) included technical support incidents is reduced to around 20–30 cases this year? Many of our past tickets were not partner troubleshooting issues, but Microsoft backend-required requests (e.g., Azure quota increases for high-demand SKUs/regions) where CSP partners must open a support case for approval. Some tickets even take Microsoft internal team months to check and still no solution found. Curious if others see the same and whether Microsoft should separate backend-required requests from actual technical support incidents. Thanks!Unlock new revenue streams with Microsoft Marketplace

Hi all! We recently renewed our Solutions Partner Designation which includes some cloud licenses, developer (visual studio) licenses and azure credits. From the partner center we did not have any issues adding the cloud licenses. However, both the developer and azure benefits are giving us the following error when attempting to assign them. Some users, entities, and locations are restricted from using certain Microsoft services. For this reason, leveraging anonymizing or location hiding technologies (such as VPN, virtual machine, Internet tracking blocking, etc.) when connecting to these services is not allowed. If you are using one of these technologies, you'll need to disable/change your settings to gain access. If you believe you encountered this problem without one of those causes, please wait 24 hours and try again. If the issue persists, contact our support team and reference the below message code and transaction ID. We will engage a team of ex-perts that will help verify your account. Code: 715-123160 NOTE: Hyphen added because that phrase is not permitted in the forum I opened a support ticket and after about 24h I received the following response from partner support as my ticket was closed: I am writing to formally inform you that, following the escalation of your case and a comprehensive review conducted by a higher‑tier security team, a final determination has been issued. The official statement is as follows: “Thank you for your interest in the Microsoft partner program. We are committed to ethical and responsible business practices, as noted in the Partner Code of Conduct. Following an in-depth review of your case, we are unable to unblock your account” This resolution is definite and irrevocable. Accordingly, no further actions, reviews or exceptions are available in relation to this case. We understand that this determination may have operational or business implications, and we sincerely acknowledge the impact this may have. Please note that the decision was made in full adherence to established security policies and applicable procedures. At this stage, our role is to keep you informed of the results of the investigation. Based on the final determination, no additional actions can be taken, so this case will now be closed. If you re-open the case it will give you the same answer. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation throughout this process. I reached out to another member of the Partner Support team and learned it is normal for this canned response to be sent out, and a few days later for the block to be removed. I also got the impression that opening another ticket and requesting re-escalation could be helpful to us... The response we received does not provide us with any details on how Microsoft determined our accounts are not permitted to activate these benefits or how to correct the issue. It suggests we are in violation of... something. But we aren't permitted to know what we did wrong and there is no way to clear up the misunderstanding. This is not the kind of language I would expect to receive from Microsoft as a valued partner. Especially not when they are looking for my understanding and cooperation through this process. I'm sure it's all a big misunderstanding and we could find a mutually satisfactory resolution if given a chance! While I felt bad giving the partner support ticket a 1 star survey response, because I know they have no control over how the security team handles this type of issue. On the other hand, the ticket survey is intended to collect feedback about my experience, and that experience had a lot of room for improvement! Does anyone know what may have caused our partner accounts to be blocked by the partner security team? We work all over the US and we also use cloud PCs to login to various Microsoft platforms. We don't use any VPNs or location blocking features, so my best guess the azure VMs might be the underlying issue.SolvedMCT Email in MTM
