New 3Yr Offer for ME3 and ME5
I see the announcement in Partner Center Announcements that the 3Yr Term for ME3 and ME5 will be available in June and there is an FAQ, but it says I don't have permissions to access. Can anyone else access this? Also, does anyone know what the liability is for the Partner? When I look at the billing terms documentation for 3Yr terms, it was last updated April 25th and is very specific to Dynamics. It does state that a partner can cancel during the term, but again, is that specific to Dynamics or is that an option for the new SKUs as well?SolvedNo Restricted tables in Dynamics Sales ? and Question for Portal users

We are just starting with the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace as a new ISV. We sell to small businesses (2-5 employees). About half of these businesses don't have a business email, but use a personal hotmail, yahoo, or gmail account. For example business xyz may use xyz(@)gmail.com. Can we still sell to these businesses through the marketplace? From what I have seen the marketplace allows them to register these email addresses as a Microsoft account, but won't let them purchase anything. Any suggestions on how these businesses can purchase from the commercial marketplace?Solved249Views0likes5CommentsExam AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions

Hi, we are just in the transition to the new Billing recon API. We noticed that we are able to get data for invoices from the NCE model but not for invoices from legacy CSP. In detail: POST request to https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/reports/partners/billing/usage/billed/export is successful (202 Accepted) The following GET request to https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/reports/partners/billing/operations/[GUID] is successful on the HTTP Layer (200 OK) but the status is failed: { "@odata.context": "https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/$metadata#reports/partners/billing/operations/$entity", "@odata.type": "#microsoft.graph.partners.billing.failedOperation", "id": "...", "createdDateTime": "...", "lastActionDateTime": "...", "status": "failed", "error": { "message": "No reconciliation data available currently for Invoice D.... Please try again later.", "code": "5000" } } The same flow (same auth token, etc.) with a NCE invoice works successful. I didn't find any documentation if legacy CSP is even supported on the new API or not. Maybe someone can confirm this. And if it should work maybe someone can give details to the error recieved above.SolvedUpdated MPA - Extended Term & Opt Out Explanation
Dear community, We are an Indirect Provider in CSP and we have been reviewing the updated version of the MPA that is available for review in Partner Center. As we were reading it, we saw a new clause. more specifically clause 8 (g) in page 43 that describes that and I quote "Extended Term for Expiring Subscriptions. If a Software Subscription or seat-based OLS Subscription is not renewed at the end of the subscription term, access to the applicable Software or OLS will continue following expiration for 30 days and may continue thereafter for successive one-month periods until cancelled (“Extended Term”). Microsoft reserves the right to invoice Company for the Extended Term at the then-current published price for a monthly subscription plus a three (3) percent uplift. If it does, Microsoft will provide Company with an opportunity to opt out of the Extended Term prior to the expiration date and request instead that the applicable Subscription either be renewed automatically or disabled immediately upon expiration. Company will have 90 days to extract Customer Data from a disabled account, but the Subscription cannot be reactivated." Following the above new clause, could please help us understand the following two questions: Does the "Extended Term" as described above include the 30 first days after the expiration of a subscription or not? Could you please enlighten us on the way that this "opt out opportunity" will be systematically implemented? How will we be able to utilize this opportunity for our partners/indirect resellers? Kindly asking for your significant help on these points as it is critical for our business decisions to avoid unforeseen costs for our partners. Thank you in advance, NickSolvedTSP - first class first time as new company
Hey, I'm feeling a bit lost about where to find the detailed information I need. I'm and MCT, and I also run my own company where I'd like to hold training sessions. I already have a group of students interested in taking a class with me. The problem is, I'm unsure about how or where to register my class. I do have an MTM login and other needed accounts (at least I think so), but it's all quite overwhelming. Would you be able to guide me through process of registering and setting up my first class as both an MCT and a training provider for my own company? I also bought already Partner Success Core Benefits and registered as TSP (event got email "Welcome to the Microsoft Training Services Partner Program". But still don't understand what next steps should be for being able to do the training. There appears to be a contradiction in the "Stop Distribution of an Offer or Plan" section of the MS Learn article "Update existing offers in the commercial marketplace." Specifically, the document says: Any customers who previously acquired the offer or plan can still use it but they can't re-download or redeploy. However, the third bullet point beneath that text says: For all offers, once the offer or plans are deprecated, the customer has 90 days of usage. The plain language of these two sentences, taken together, is an apparent contradiction. Which is correct? Can anyone point to unambiguous documentation on the question?Solved
