Request for guidance/contact – pro bono AZ-900 training for students
Hello, I’m reaching out with a question related to Microsoft Partners and possible ways to support an educational, non-profit initiative. I run my own IT company and work with cloud solutions professionally. In addition, I teach/lecture in education out of passion (at a university and a higher-education school). I’m also a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and currently hold 9 active Microsoft certifications. Separately, I am the president of the Horyzont Wiedzy Association (https://horyzontwiedzy.edu.pl), a non-profit organization whose statutory mission is to promote IT knowledge. As part of our association, we would like to organize pro bono “AZ-900 – Microsoft Azure Fundamentals” classes for high-school students (IT-focused classes) in our city, including students from multiple schools where I’m not formally employed. The goal is to help students get familiar with real-world technologies used in companies and give them an accessible entry point into cloud computing. We originally planned a 2-day format rather than a 1-day session so students could spend more time working hands-on and actually experience the cloud in practice (not only through theory). For this approach, access to affordable or free lab environments would be essential. Unfortunately, purchasing labs for a non-profit association is a significant expense for us. I previously asked about using Microsoft Learn for Educators (MSLE) resources for this initiative, but I was informed that MSLE benefits/lab environments are exclusive to accredited academic institutions—so, as an association (not a registered school), we cannot rely on MSLE for these sessions. Could you please advise whether there is any Microsoft Partner-related program/pathway that could support this kind of non-profit educational activity (e.g., lab access, Azure credits, vouchers, community/education enablement options)? Our intention is strictly non-commercial and non-profit, and we would be happy to align with any required guidelines or reporting expectations. Thank you in advance for your direction and any contact you can share.SolvedCSP Promotion Exception Request
We're having trouble claiming a promotion for a customer. Partner support says our PDM needs to submit an exception request. However, we haven't been assigned a PDM. How can we resolve this? Our CSAM doesn't seem to know either. Does anyone have any ideas?Solved85Views0likes4CommentsPrint/export private offer & terms to a PDF for customer's offline processes?
Hi all, We have a situation where a customer is asking for a 'private offer' to be published to them - which is fine, we have done that. However, their procurement processes don't appears quite up to speed with using 'digital marketplaces' and so their procurement person is asking if we can send them a PDF hardcopy of the 'private offer', so they can send it onwards internally for approvals, before clicking the 'accept and then 'purchase' buttons in Marketplace. It seems that the authority within the customer that needs to approve it, is not actually a person that uses or will log onto the Azure Portal to view and accept the offer... and that a person who will logon to the Azure Portal to 'accept' it, first needs to send a PDF/hardcopy to someone to approve it. Is there a way that we as the ISV can export the 'private offer' to PDF for them, or a way for them to view the private offer in their Azure Portal and to export that to a PDF, so they can use internally for their approval processes?Solved60Views0likes3CommentsPL-400 - Need access to Power Apps
Hello people, I am currently doing the self taught learning path for the PL-400 certification. However, to complete the practical exercises I need access to Power Apps and a Microsoft Dataverse etc. I am using a personal email and not a school or work one - hence I am trying to create a Microsoft 365 Developer Program account to allow me to have access to Power Apps etc. But I am stuck when trying access the dashboard as it is stuck on a infinite loop of "Loading your data" and I am not sure what to do and what is causing this. Has anyone else had this issue and what can I do to get around this? I think it is super important for me to get access to power apps in order to complete the training as it will impact my understand and ability to complete the course. I am sure there is enough people who take the course that are no in school or work. I hope someone can help me Regards, MarkSolvedNonprofit pricing for the Defender and Purview Suites for Business Premium
Will nonprofit pricing be available for the Defender and Purview Suites for Business Premium? Many clients have purchased the E5 Security license when it was first released as a Business Premium upgrade, which is available as a nonprofit SKU. A couple of months later Microsoft released the defender and purview suites for BP but never added the licenses as a nonprofit SKU. Microsoft also removed Business Premium as an upgraded path to E5 Security (now Defender Suite). Leaves those of us who purchased the E5 security upgrade in a bad place. Please advise.Solved72Views1like2CommentsNonprofit pricing for Purview and Defender suites for business premium
I'm wondering when the Purview and Defender Suites will be added to the nonprofit pricing sheets with the nonprofit discount. E5 Security was an available add on to Business Premium for a couple of months before it switched to the Defender Suite for Business Premium. Now clients with the E5 Security add on are left without a discounted option to go forward as Business premium has been removed as a prerequisite.Solved72Views0likes2CommentsD365 SCM Warehouse Only licensing requirement
Hi all, If anybody has more insights on the D365 SCM Warehouse Management Only solution and it's licensing requirement, that would be great: Warehouse management only mode overview - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn. Eg. does the customer needs to pay regular SCM licenses with 20 seat minimum? (I expect so). Or, since it's only a part of the SCM module, are there some license exceptions? I'm in the Partner Center --> Programs and when I click on a program to enroll in such as Microsoft 365 and Copilot or Commercial Marketplace, I'm presented with a screen which only displays 'Not Authorized'. I'm a global admin for my org, so I'm not sure what permissions I may be missing. It may/may not be related but the Legal Info and Identifiers sections in the Partner Center --> Account Settings are totally blank. Another clue might be (just guessing) that I cannot raise a support ticket because the required Workspace dropdown has no options available. Team members have their own apps, e.g., Sales Team Members. Within this app, some tables are configured out-of-the-box. Hi Elevate team It was great to hear about the new Copilot licensing tier for SMBs, Microsoft 365 Copilot Business. As this new pricing tier is lower than the current nonprofit discount (US$21/user/month compared to the 15% discount of US$25.50/user/month). I was wondering what the official guidance is for small and medium nonprofits (those who have a Microsoft 365 Business plan and fewer than 300 users)? Will a new nonprofit discount be made available based on the lower tier? Or should small and medium nonprofits look at moving to the new SMB Business SKU? Hey everyone! We have a unique situation with a customer regarding Azure tenant/workloads. The customer has purchased a company that went bankrupt a few months back, and have inherited their assets which includes a SaaS product hosted on Azure. Microsoft has been sending them invoices for the outstanding balance of the Azure consumption under the old company which is still hosting the application (with active customers). Now they need to move to a new tenant under their name - which is where we are helping them, but they want to find out if we transfer this workload to the new tenant, will the balance be attached to the new company (even though we have paperwork that they have purchased the company)? They are considering moving away to GCP or AWS if it is attached, but we are trying to get them to stay on Azure. We haven't been able to get a straight answer from anywhere. We also want to make sure their application doesn't go down in the event MS decides to shut it off. Can someone guide us in the right direction to someone that can help us - the correct billing/legal/AR dept at MS to get the right answer? Your help is appreciated!Solved179Views0likes5CommentsBizApps Benefit -D365 Finance for IUR qualifies as base for an attach license?
Hello With the upcoming D365 Finance and Operations user license validation, we expect to see some of our users required to get an SCM license. Dear Microsoft Partner Community, We’re an ISV partner with a suite of Business Central add-ons available as transactable offers and licensed through Microsoft. We’ve recently started exploring ways to extend our reach by collaborating with other Microsoft partners, and we’re particularly interested in incentivizing selected partners through Private Offers. However, the documentation on Microsoft Learn clearly states that Private Offers can only be used for Direct Bill or Indirect Provider partners — not Indirect Resellers. We’re wondering: Has anyone successfully worked directly with Indirect Resellers in this context? Is it possible to use CSP margins to incentivize this partner type? Are there any known workarounds or alternatives that would allow us to collaborate and reward Indirect Resellers? We’ve reviewed the available documentation but couldn’t find a clear path forward. Any insights or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!Solved130Views0likes1CommentGDAP after Direct to Indirect Transfer

Hello, a company wants to join Bridge to the Cloud 3 next year. They are starting with 40 users and then scaling up to 120 users after migration. For the migration phase, they want to book 10 CSP users before joining the promotion. How should the following passage from the FAQ be interpreted? Are 10 users compliant for the preliminary project because they are scaling up to 120 users, or only 4 because they are only booking 40 licenses at the start of the promotion? Q3: Can customers who licensed a small quantity of Dynamics 365 online licenses for testing enroll in this promotion? A: Use of a free trial offer (prior to BTC3 enrollment) does not impact eligibility for this BTC3 promotion. Although customers with prior paid online licenses of the same product are normally ineligible for this promotion, as an exception, such customers are not excluded if their peak number of paid Dynamics 365 online full users to date does not exceed 10% of the number of full users that will be licensed at BTC3 enrollment. In the FY26 SDC Partner Investments Office Hours, and Updates for SDC's sessions, there is a slide about two key marketplace rewards. One is Customer Propensity Scoring, the other is Azure Sponsorship. I seem to be unable to find more information or links (in MPC, or other various Microsoft sites)to be able to use the Customer Propensity Scoring. Could someone please shed some more light on this and how to access/submit the list and in what format and structure, for propensity scoring?Solved137Views0likes2Comments
