FY27 Distributor Incentives - Few Questions
Dear team, We are a Distributor and need to understand better the mechanics of the FY27 incentives. More specifically, please find below the questions we need to sort the soonest possible: Regarding the growth accelerator, is there any minimum threshold above which we are eligible to receive the 10% rebate or the growth applies even to one new additional licenses? Again, regarding the growth accelerator, the 10% rebates applies only to the new licenses added or to the new total number of licenses following the additions? Example: current config. with 100x ME5. We plan to add 100x more ME5. Will we have to apply the 10% rebate on the new 100x ME5 or to the total 200 ME5? Thank you so much for your clarifications that are crucial for our business planning! Warm regards, Nick2Views0likes0CommentsAre You Having Achievement Code Issues?
July 13 - thanks to all that shared their current achievement code issues. The team continues to investigate but no current time to resolution. July 1 - Hi all, I've seen a few posts regarding sudden issues in generating achievement codes. If this is an issue for you can you please reply to this with the course you're trying to generate and the approximate time you tried to generate? Trying to determine the scope of the problem. If you previously had an issue but it appears to be resolved now, please let me know that as well. Thanks, DanCan the Missing Piece Be Found on Microsoft Marketplace?

We learned the very very very hard way that next-day Marketplace invoicing does NOT play nicely with Coupa. Here's what happened: Back in April, we closed a Marketplace transaction via private offer with one of our enterprise customers. Not a new customer, either - this was for a license extension with a current customer with which we'd transacted through Marketplace twice before. 30 days go by, and Partner Center still shows the invoice as 'uncollected.' 60 days go by, and Partner Center still shows the invoice as 'uncollected.' I open a ticket with Marketplace support. And kudos to them, they pick up my ticket within an hour. "Customer hasn't paid the invoice," they tell us. So now we are forced to take on the role of collections agency for a Microsoft invoice our customer hasn't paid and for which we don't know why they haven't paid. (Partner Center's Revenue reports are rather light on useful details.) Our buyer inside the customer also has no idea why the invoice wasn't paid: She sits far away from the folks who pay the Microsoft bills. Her colleague in IT who pushed the buttons to purchase the private offer likewise has no idea why the invoice wasn't paid: He too sits far away from accounts payable. We're baffled because never before have we had any delay in getting our payouts for this customer's Marketplace purchases. Our first thought is okay, maybe they now have custom net 60 payment terms with Microsoft. (A different issue we experienced on a different delayed payout back in January!) After ten days of intensive investigations involving nearly a dozen different people, we finally discover the source of the issue: The customer pays its Microsoft bills through Coupa, BUT: they did NOT know about nor integrate into Coupa workflow the (relatively new) next-day invoicing mechanism for Marketplace transactions. For their accounts payable team, if an invoice doesn't land in Coupa, it doesn't exist. The invoice for this Marketplace purchase was generated, but it got sent . . . nowhere, I guess? So in picking up my support ticket, Marketplace Support could only say "Customer hasn't paid the invoice." They probably had no way to know the correct response was "Customer hasn't received the invoice." Moral of the story: Ask your customers if they use Coupa. And if yes, prepare them for the possibility they might not receive the invoice for your software.Marketplace trainings and events calendar (updated 07/08/26)

Hello Partner Compliance / Vetting team, I'm trying to complete publisher verification for an Entra app registration, which requires enrolling in the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program (MAICPP). The enrollment is blocked and I cannot get past it: - In Partner Center, the "Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program" option is greyed out / not selectable when I try to enroll from Account Settings > Programs. - The Legal Info page only shows a loading spinner and never loads any content. - The Identifiers page is empty â no Partner ID (PGA) is listed. - When I tried to create a support request in Partner Center, it repeatedly failed with "An error occurred while creating your support request. Please wait 10 minutes and try again," across many attempts over two days. - Support for Business / admin center says I have no support entitlements, so I can't open a technical ticket there either. The Norwegian support phone numbers do not connect. Background: I originally had an account collision â the same email existed as both a personal Microsoft account and a work account â which kept logging me in as the personal account. I've since created a clean work account (Global Administrator) in my tenant to resolve that, and all technical prerequisites are in place: my custom domain is DNS-verified in the tenant and set as primary, and the app registration's publisher domain is set to that custom domain. Company: LunaCatch AS (a registered Norwegian limited company). We are a legitimate, newly registered business and all details match our official government records (BrĂžnnĂžysundregistrene / the Norwegian business register). I have the official company registration certificate ready to provide. Could a moderator please escalate this to the Partner Trust & Safety / Vetting team to: 1. Review why the enrollment / vetting is blocked, 2. Reset or reopen it so I can complete company verification, and 3. Advise exactly what documentation is required and where to upload it. I got questions with regards to the Change Of Channel Partner (COCP) rule which has been introduced with the start of the new FY of MSFT. When is COCP being enforced? Is that already with the start of FY27? For transfers executed prior to start COCP will the partners still earn incentives after start date COCP? Eg. start date being July 1st, but the transfer was executed in April. Will the new partner keep earning their incentives after July? n When executing a CSP transfer, both the license costs and incentives are fully prorated. Eg. existing partner received a annual payment in September 2026 (getting full year costs and full year incentives) and executes a CSP transfer in December, they get credit of 8 months costs but also need to return the incentives for 8 months. Everything is prorated. Now with COCP the new partner would not earn the Core/Strategic incentives anymore, thus the new partner only get the 8 months costs, but not the 8 months of incentives. Is this correct? A Reseller switching between Disti's is considered COCP and thus won't be earning any Core/Strategic incentives anymore. Does this apply to both the existing Reseller and new Disti? During the community call yesterday it was mentioned that the only focus is on growth with regards to incentives. Resellers might be switching from a transactional Disti (one that doesn't support growth) to a added-value Disti (one that does support additional growth). But due to COCP guidelines, this is now strongly discouraged and punished by MSFT. Why are Resellers being punished for such a Disti switching, by loosing their Core/Strategic incentives? Same goes for customer tenants switch from partner to partner. The new partner would not earn any Core/Strategic incentives anymore, even though they might be the better partner for that customer to increase up- and cross-sell (realize growth). Now the new partner is being punished for being the better partner and taking over the customer tenant. Why? Hope to get some insights on how COCP will actually work, and the thoughts behind it from MSFT on why they introduced it. Hi There, Quick question regarding our Microsoft TSP onboarding. We submitted our onboarding request on June 5, 2026, but did not receive any updates until today (July 2, 2026), when my Microsoft GSI Skilling Lead helped connect me with your internal team. At that point, someone confirmed that our organization has now been onboarded as a TSP. My question is: Should we expect to see any changes in Partner Center once the onboarding is completed? For example: Should a TSP section or tab become available? Should we now see an option to purchase the TSP Action Pack or is that optional? Are there any Partner Center permissions or configurations that still need to be completed on our side? Additionally, I have a team in South Africa asking me to grant them access to Partner Center so they can manage TSP-related activities and track metrics. Before I proceed, I'd like to understand whether that access is actually required and whether I'm heading in the right direction. Could someone please provide some guidance on the expected next steps and what we should be seeing in Partner Center following the onboarding? Thank you in advance for your help.FY27 MCT Newsletter Thread

Hello, I'm trying to enroll in the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program (MAICPP), but my enrollment was blocked immediately after submitting my company information, with an automated trust check message. Because the enrollment was blocked at this stage, no Partner Center workspace was created for me, so I'm unable to open a support ticket through the normal in-portal method. Details of my case: - Reference number: 715-123160 - Transaction ID: b19b058c-f8c4-44f9-bbae-c49c537b45fb - Legal company name: [Ă complĂ©ter] - Tenant ID: dbac7550-f17a-4cda-83ed-3a5d5d16ab2d - Tenant domain: raic037.onmicrosoft.com - Sign-in email: email address removed for privacy reasons I have my legal documentation ready to provide (company registration/incorporation document, valid for more than 2 months), and I want to make sure the legal name and registered office address I've entered match exactly what's on file. Could someone please escalate this to the Partner Trust & Safety / Vetting team for a manual review, or let me know what specifically triggered the automated block so I can correct it? Dear Microsoft, dear fellow partners, Please find below first experiences with the new "incentives experience" where the annual incentives guide was replaced with a website. This fine product can be found at: https://incentiveguide.partner.microsoft.com/en-US/ Site only shows a video, no matter which link you click. We want text, not video. I want the CSP M365 incentives info, not that video overlay again. 2. Site refers to a âproduct addendumâ but no such is found in the guide itself (it is in the MCI collection on OpsReadiness luckily - https://assetsprod.microsoft.com/mpn/en-us/microsoft-commerce-incentive-product-addendum.xlsx ) 3. The MCI collection (https://partner.microsoft.com/en-US/asset/collection/microsoft-commerce-incentive-resources#/) links to various files/links. The link to the FY27 coop guide is broken âč (https://incentiveguide.partner.microsoft.com/en-US/fy27-co-op/how-to-use-the-co-op-guidebook) p- luckily the definitions of what cannot be found are present (at https://incentiveguide.partner.microsoft.com/en-US/additional-terms-and-definitions/glossary-cooperative-marketing-funds) 4. There are no rates mentioned in the website/download of the guide. For CSP you would need to view the MSFY27 documentation in collection mentioned earlier we eagerly await an updated & improved version of this site!
