Teams Meeting Add-in Not Appearing in Outlook
The computer was rebuilt from scratch and reinstalled with a clean operating system. After the installation, all required Microsoft applications (Outlook, Teams, etc.) were installed and the user successfully signed in. However, the Teams Meeting add-in is not appearing in Outlook as expected. Within the Outlook Calendar/Appointment window, only the Skype Meeting option is visible, while the Teams Meeting option is completely missing. Checks Performed: New Microsoft Teams is installed and functioning properly. Outlook and Teams are both signed in with the user account. Outlook COM Add-ins have been checked. Disabled Items have been checked. Teams Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office has been verified. Outlook updates have been checked. Microsoft Teams has been reinstalled. Outlook profile has been verified. Exchange mailbox is active and functioning correctly. Despite all the above checks, the Teams Meeting option is still not displayed in the Outlook Calendar/Appointment window, and only the Skype Meeting integration is available. Expected Behavior: The Teams Meeting button should be available within the Outlook Calendar/Appointment window, allowing users to create Teams meetings and automatically generate Teams meeting invitations. Request: Please why the Teams Meeting Add-in is not being loaded into Outlook and provide assistance in restoring the Teams Meeting functionality within the Outlook Calendar/Appointment interface. When creating a new e-mail, my signature is displayed in Times New Roman (?) instead of the default font. In the Signature editor, the display is correct. In Sent, the mail is displayed correctly as well. I have an Outlook web add-in (Office.js, MailApp) that works fine on Exchange Online mailboxes. But on a Gmail account added to classic Outlook for Windows via IMAP, the add-in never activates, as I understand it, web add-ins need an Exchange backend to activate against, which an IMAP account doesn't have. Is that correct? And if so, is a traditional COM add-in (VSTO) the only supported way to surface an add-in on these IMAP/POP mailboxes in classic Outlook, or is there a web-add-in path I'm missing?33Views0likes1CommentOutlook Mobile 5.2623.0 Android - Addins hang whilst loading
I develop and addin and have been testing it, only recently after update to latest Outlook Mobile on Android, it hangs during Office.onReady() I've tested it on 2 different devices and also tried other addins which also fail to load. Outlook Mobile 5.2623.0 on Android Office.context.mailbox is null, Office.onReady() never resolves Reproducible with multiple vendors (my own adding and two Zoho add-ins) Two devices, different OS versions - Samsung One UI 8.0 and 8.5 (Android 16) Regression: add-ins worked prior to this update Appreciate any help. I've been using Legacy Outlook for Mac for years without issues, but since Wednesday afternoon (June 17, CET) something broke after the latest update rolled out. When I reply to any HTML email, the quoted original message is completely blank. Only the From, Date, To and Subject headers show up — the actual email body is gone. It makes it impossible to have a proper email thread because the recipient can't see the conversation history. This started right after Version 16.110 (Build 26061317) was released on June 16, 2026. The release notes only mention "Quality and performance improvements" for Outlook, so whatever changed in this build seems to have broken HTML reply quoting as an unintended side effect. My setup: MacBook Air M5, macOS (Legacy Outlook for Mac Exchange on-premises account (EWS), domain login What I'm experiencing: Replying in HTML mode → quoted body is completely blank, only headers show Switching to plain text → body comes back but with massive blank line gaps throughout (not professional to send) Outlook Web (OWA) → works perfectly fine What I've already tried: Cleared app data (Document Cache + Experimental Features) — no fix Cleared Outlook cache manually — no fix Toggled composing settings — no fix Checked settings in Preferences → Email → Composing — everything looks correct I've also tested Apple Mail as an alternative but it breaks embedded signature images (CID images show as placeholders), and it doesn't support Teams meeting integration — so going back to Legacy Outlook is really the only option for my daily work. Outlook Web App OWA is my current workaround but it's not sustainable long term. I really hope this can be looked at as a regression fix in the next update. Has anyone else experienced this since the June 16 build? Does anyone has this issue as well?1.1KViews8likes22CommentsShared Outlook Calendar disappeared
An Outlook Calendar that my wife and I share has suddenly disappeared from my Outlook Calendar. It still shows on my wife's computer. We set this up a number of years ago, so I have no idea where or how to troubleshoot this. I do recall that we had to each create outlook.com email addresses so that we could access Microsoft Exchange. We are using the Classic version of Outlook. In case it's useful, here's the exact information from the Outlook About page: "Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2605 Build 16.0.20026.20168) 64-bit." Thanks to anyone who can help me solve this problem.36Views0likes0CommentsOutlook.com shared calendar disappeared for one user
I have a personal Microsoft account with a Live.com address. For over 10 years, I have had a calendar that is shared with my wife and daughter. It was created when Microsoft introduced the Family Room feature, which created a shared OneNote and shared calendar. While the Family Room feature was discontinued, the shared OneNote and shared calendar have continued to work without problem until today. The shared calendar has disappeared from my daughter's Outlook on Windows, Web and Android. My wife still has access to the shared calendar. I have tried removing her shared access permission and then adding it again. She receives the invitation to accept the access and clicks Accept. The shared calendar reappears in her Outlook calendars with all events shown, but after a few seconds, the calendar disappears. I have not found any useful information about this problem online. All the articles I can find relating to problems with shared calendars relate to Outlook for Microsoft 365 and not the consumer Outlook.com. If anyone can help resolve this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.231Views4likes2CommentsNew Outlook Offline Mode: Add and open attachments while offline
Microsoft has been rolling out offline functionality in phases, and the latest update now allows users to add and open attachments while offline. I created a short walkthrough covering what works offline now, what users need to know about attaching files from OneDrive versus local drives, and which features still require an internet connection. I also shared my discoveries when creating a calendar event that you don't want to miss. Current State: You can create a category and assign it to a contact card. Prior to April 2026, you can not easily delete the actual Category, which removes it from the left navigation. Background Info: The contact categories in New Outlook are separate from the Inbox and Calendar categories. The Delete a category icon in the People Tab appears to have been missed. Workaround Solution: Try this method if you do not have the latest New Outlook People Hub Enabled. You can remove the category from each contact by pressing the X by the category. Then close and reopen New Outlook; the category will no longer appear in the People tab's left navigation. More Information as of June 15, 2026: Microsoft has fixed the issue with Contact category deletion. Select a contact | Select Add a Category | Deselect the Category Once you remove the assigned category from all contacts, the category will automatically be removed from the left navigation. Note: You cannot select multiple contacts and apply a category. It is on the backlog. If you find this information helpful, please mark it as the best response. /Teresa #traccreations4e Original post: 02/05/2024 Modified post: 06/15/202618KViews12likes22CommentsOutlook doesn't work for 4th IMAP email addy
Okay, so the title was probably badly worded. Ever since the new outlook, my 4th IMAP email address doesn't work - and it worked in the old outlook. I have 4 IMAPs and 2 gmails I check through Outlook, on two different computers. One is a brand new setup. The email address I am having problems with works fine with the exact same settings on my mobile app (not outlook) and it works fine if I add it to gmail. So it's definitely an outlook problem. Both computers keep redirecting me to sign in, as if it were a wrong password. It isn't. I've tried adding it the prompted way, and by clicking settings and signing in or managing it through there. I need other ideas. I can't seem to fix this.44Views0likes4CommentsFeature Request: Add "Recent Activity Feed" combining Sent & Received emails
Respected Outlook Product Team, I am writing to submit a feature request aimed at improving productivity and message tracking for power users who heavily rely on Microsoft Outlook for their daily communication workflows. The Problem: Currently, Outlook separates communication into distinct folders: "Inbox" for incoming mail and "Sent Items" for outgoing mail. When managing large-scale communications—specifically when sending bulk or recurring emails via BCC (Blind Carbon Copy)—it becomes incredibly tedious to constantly switch back and forth between the Inbox and Sent Items folders to track recent operations or verify the exact sequence of historical activities. The existing "Group messages by conversation" feature also fails to merge these independent outgoing streams seamlessly unless a direct reply is received. The Solution / Feature Proposal: I highly request the product team to introduce a "Recent Activity Feed" filter or view within the main Outlook Inbox interface. Inspired by modern social media and collaboration timeline feeds, this feature should display both Sent and Received emails chronologically in a single unified message list. Incoming and outgoing messages should be clearly distinguishable using intuitive icons (e.g., incoming/outgoing arrows) and labels (e.g., "SENT (BCC)" vs "RECEIVED"). This will allow professionals to review all recent actions, sent bulk updates, and incoming threads at a single glance without breaking their operational focus. I have attached a UI/UX Concept Design image with this email to visually demonstrate how this feature would streamline the user experience seamlessly. I sincerely hope the engineering and product management teams will consider this feature in future Microsoft Outlook updates to adapt the platform to modern, high-volume workflow requirements. Thank you for your time and continuous efforts to improve Microsoft Outlook. Regards, Pawan Kumar93Views0likes3CommentsNew Outlook problem with missing new mail in conversation

Environment: macOS 26.5.1 Build 25F80 (Tahoe beta) - Microsoft Outlook 16.109.3 (build 26053122) - MacBook Air Mac14,2 arm64, 16GB Issue: Outlook crashes immediately on every launch. Occurs on clean install with no profile. Tested two builds (26053122 and 26051019) - both crash identically. Root cause from system logs: macOS 26 has tightened UniformTypeIdentifiers enforcement. Outlook's Info.plist is missing explicit declarations for 12+ com.microsoft UTI types. On every launch: "UniformTypeIdentifiers: Type 'com.microsoft.DataObject' was expected to be declared and exported in the Info.plist of Microsoft Outlook.app, but it was not found." Same error fires for: com.microsoft.Embedded-Object, EMF-Plus, GIF-Office-Art, Ink-Serialized-Format, JFIF-Office-Art, Link-Source-Descriptor, Object-Descriptor, Embed-Source, PNG-Office-Art, Office-Drawing-Drag-Drop-Format, Office-Drawing-Shape-Format. Secondary error: /private/var/db/DetachedSignatures does not exist on macOS 26, causing an SQLite open failure in libsqlite3. Workaround: None. Outlook Web only until a fix ships. Ask: Please update Outlook's Info.plist to explicitly declare all com.microsoft UTI types to comply with macOS 26's stricter enforcement. This will affect all Microsoft 365 Mac apps when macOS 26 ships publicly this fall.141Views0likes1CommentNew desktop outlook do not show incoming message in conversation

I have been trying to move to the new Outlook for over a year, but I always end up having to revert to Classic Outlook. The new Outlook is slow, particularly when opening windows, and some features appear to have been designed to look modern rather than to be practical. The design also makes it difficult to work efficiently: there are too many colours, the visibility of important information is poor, and the overall experience feels more like using the web app than a proper desktop application. There are also functional issues. For example, Quick Steps do not always work correctly when emails are grouped. Today I missed a Zoom call because I could not click the meeting link in the location field. I also could not copy the link or even view the full URL. This was the final issue for me. In my opinion, Microsoft should reconsider the direction of the new Outlook and instead invest in improving Classic Outlook by making it faster and reducing its memory usage. That should be the priority before adding more new features. It is frustrating to buy a laptop with a large amount of memory only for much of it to be consumed by WhatsApp, Teams, Outlook, and other Microsoft tools. Please focus on optimising existing applications before introducing flashier features and AI functionality that often clutter the screen rather than improve productivity.116Views3likes3CommentsIMAP connection error INVALIDCREDENTIALS
I am trying to add my external IMAP mailbox from my hosting provider (Easyhost.be) to the new Outlook app / Outlook.com. However, when I try to add this mailbox to my domain 'vinedo.be', I immediately receive the error message: INVALIDCREDENTIALS INTERACTIONREQUIRED. In the classic Outlook desktop app, the account works immediately via IMAP with exactly the same password. Everything also works perfectly with the Outlook app on an Android smartphone. There appears to be an incorrect tenant attribution or cache in the background of the Microsoft Cloud that is internally blocking authentication for the domain vinedo.be. Could you clear the cache/tenant attribution for the domain vinedo.be so that the IMAP connection is routed externally again? The mailbox email address removed for privacy reasons was hosted by Gandi.net until recently. This is presumably causing the problem.64Views0likes0CommentsProblem adding IMAP email account to Outlook on Android
I am trying to add a couple of IMAP email accounts to Outlook on Android. Both are for my own domain, and I already have both added to Outlook on my windows laptop without any issues. One of the emails, "name@ domain . com" is added without any problems on Android, but my catch-all email, "*@ domain . com" will not add, and constantly gives the "check email/password" error. This email works with Outlook on my windows PC, and with other email apps on Android. I suspect the problem is due to the *@ domain address, but my email provider says it should work with Outlook, and it already works on Windows Outlook. Has anyone seen this before?
