Outlook web shows my calendar - make it stop
Outlook web shows upcoming calendar event - they are sometime personal I don't like them showing! Someone now know I had a medical appointment for something I didn't want to disclose - events showing in my mailbox is intrusive. Where can I stop it? See picture.

Can we use Azure credits from Microsoft Partner Center to provision Fabric capacity for Copilot? Please confirm if there are any Microsoft Partner benefits (e.g., Power BI Premium licenses, Fabric capacity credits) that can be leveraged for this scenario. "Format picture" has disappeared from Outlook Mac
I use the Outlook app on 3 different MacBooks. Two have recently auto-updated Outlook to version 16.102.2, and I've lost the ability to format a picture in the body of an email. I use lots of screenshots in emails, and always put a border around them to clearly differentiate them from the body text. Right-click the image and select Format Picture from the menu. I can still do it in the third MacBook which is running Outlook version 16.84.2. I don't know if the latest update is meant to be an improvement, but I'm not happy about it! I'll turn off automate updates for the third MacBook. Not sure if I can revert the other two to version 16.84.2 - does anybody know if this is possible. Also wonder if users of the Windows app have experienced the same loss of the Format Picture feature?
Folders in Outlook Classic empty after update
I use Outlook classic, locally on my laptop. With folders for specific topics and subfolders for sub-content. After an update[Windows 11, last update was 2025-10-15 Cumulatieve update voor op Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64 gebaseerde systemen (KB5066835) (26100.6899) and 2025-10-15 Cumulatieve update voor .NET Framework 3.5 en 4.8.1 voor Windows 11, version 24H2 voor x64 (KB5066131)] , all main folders are still present, all subfolders also still there but ....completely empty. After the first heart attack, found out that all info is still available in webmail - that I never use. But apparently Outlook Classic does not anymore collect all previous info. New email does still arrive in my Outlook Classic. When I open Outlook Modern, all folders and subfolders are there - but only available online. Since I travel a lot, I prefer the locally available Outlook Classic. What to do?
Other Email blocked after Win 11 upgrade.
OK Ive been trying to Add my other hotmail accounts after upgrading a few months back to win11. I can never remember all the passwords and just get the code sent to my phone or to my main email account. Since the upgrade the phone code just returns "There is a temporary problem" which is now going on for 5 months so its not temporary for me. I dont have 2FA on this phone for those accounts as I just preferred to use TEXT. Ive tried multiple times to reset, its asked for multiple old passwords and then tells me it will contact me in 2-3 working days. Never had a reply. Seems MS dont feel actual real humans are worth employing to do customer care. And all their "fixes" just have you going round in a loop. So does anyone know what the hell to do as all my fricking companies invoices are on that email
Outlook broke after Office 365 update to 16.0.19328.20158 – cannot open emails Windows Server 2016
Hello everyone, posting to report that after the latest automatic update to Microsoft Office 365 version 16.0.19328.20158, we are experiencing a critical issue on multiple company machines running Windows Server 2016: The Outlook desktop application launches normally, but when trying to open any email, the following error appears: “There was a problem opening this item... The text formatting command is not available... Reinstall Microsoft Outlook.” Launching Outlook in safe mode (Outlook /safe) does not help. Creating the FORMS2 folder (suggested workaround) does not fix it. Attempting a downgrade via OfficeC2RClient.exe fails with error 30183-27 (400). Quick/online repair from Control Panel also has no effect. In our environment, this issue appeared simultaneously on many workstations and servers, right after the Office update today. Temporary solution: We are instructing users to access their mail via Outlook Web App (OWA), which is not affected by this bug. We would like to know: If others have experienced this bug with this build, including on Windows Server 2016 If any working workaround exists, or an official fix timeframe from Microsoft Thanks to anyone who can share their experience or updates!Search from taskpane
Is it possible to do a mailbox search from a custom taskepane. I know i can do search via Graph and make my own view of the results, but it would be so much easier to generate a query string and pass that too the build in search bar and then display the result as if the user had made an manual search.
Deleting Outlook app from 365 Business
I have a Microsoft 365 Business Basic account and want to remove the Outlook app. My business email account is managed by my web host. I'm thinking it's ok to remove the app from 365 but just checking if it will cause any issues. As mentioned it is connected to my web hosting account. ThanksOutlook search not returning results from body of email
Does anyone know if there is any big with classic outlook im running on windows 11 build: 26200.7019 25H2 when i search on classic outlook ever since i got a new windows 11 laptop it doesnt return search results from body of the email only from sender and subject any insights into this?
Outlook - Account Set Up
I'm setting up a new laptop, bought with Office pre-installed. I have set up three of the four Email addresses I have long term used in Outlook on another laptop without issue, it accepted the login(s) and installed the accounts, now working. The fourth, another long term existing Virginmedia (so Yahoo?) Email account, following the same process, keeps diverting to a Microsoft window asking for an EMail account. ANY email account results in a window insisting I need a business or school account to proceed. I'm not a business nor school user. It did not ask for this with the others! I use Outlook 2021 for Mac, have for years. Just staring today, when I opened Outlook, my reading pane was located on the bottom of my emails. I have always had the pane on the right hand side of the window. I made no changes to any setting. I changed the reading pane back to the right side, but when I close Outlook and open it back up, the reading pane returns to the bottom of the screen. How can I get the reading pane to default to the right side of the window?
issue with user outlook inbox
hello i have a user that have on her outlook inbox and boite de reception. on old laptop i build a new laptop for her install office after the language to set to french i still see Inbox and boite de réception i try the switch : outlook.exe /resetfoldernames i still have inbox and mail arrive in inbox i have stuff in boites de reception. what can i do ? I don't mean send to trash or bulk. I'd like to send unwanted emails based on some item like FROM or a word in the body of the email or something else. I don't want to see it in any folder. Outlook 365 (classic) freezes syncing subscribed folders via IMAP
Win 11 home, with all current updates. Outlook 365 (365) Version 2510 Build 16.0.19328.20010) 64-bit; with all current updates. ISP: telusplanet.net (which is Google, with limited functionality), Servers: imap.gmail.com, port 993, SSL/TSL and smtp.gmail.com, port 465, SSL/TSL Protocol: IMAP. I was using POP before without any problems for years. The problem: When starting OL it downloads new mail messages OK. But after a while it freezes in ‘Synchronizing Inbox’ or rarely ‘Synchronizing Trush’ and does not download new messages from the server (which are visible in Gmail on Chrome) nor delete messages from the server, which were deleted locally. When this happens, to get it back, I need to shut OL down, wait, say 15 min, or longer, start it again and usually it is enough, occasionally I need to shut down and power the PC again. I have not uninstalled and reinstalled OL yet but am thinking of it. I use IMAP to sync mail, and Sync2 for contacts, calendar, and tasks – that works OK. I have tried just about anything possible, rebuilding profile, repairing OL, clearing cache, unlinking OneDrive, whatever I could think of, or what Copilot suggested, all to no avail. It is obviously very annoying. I believe, if it is happening to me, it must have had happened to others as well. It all started after switching from POP to IMAP. Hi, How to make non-default account to appear automatically in From field then external application is composing new email. Have 2 account in Outlook Desktop 365: test1 [@] contoso [.] com - default test2shared [@] contoso [.] com - shared non-default mailbox Option "Always use the default account when composing new messages" is unchecked already. How to make test2shared account to appear automatically in From field without selecting it in drop down list every time we compose a new email or external application is composing new email.
