How do I download outlook emails in bulk on Surface Laptop 7 (Arm)
I am on a Surface Laptop 7 with an ARM processor. I cannot download my emails because when I go to the export setting, I see this error message: Outlook Data Files support is not currently available on this device. See this article for feature requirements. And on clicking on that article link I see this: Outlook Data Files (.pst) isn't supported with the ARM version of new Outlook. I also cannot do not see an export option on the Outlook web client. How can I download emails in bulk? (side rant: Why are Microsoft products not being proactively made compatible with a Microsoft laptop architecture?!)
I have removed my hotmail account accidentally, how can i restore this?
I accidentally (Saturday 5/4/2024) deleted my hotmail account and am desperately looking for a way to get it back, preferably with content. It went as follows: In account settings, > your details > Manage your email address or phone number for login > I initially added my business email address under account aliases Next, I set my business address as the primary alias. Then I deleted my email, not knowing that it would mean deleting my account completely. I can't log in to my hotmail account anymore. Please can you help me to restore my email account
Reoccurring & Individual Events in Outlook Calendar
I have numerous different groups that reoccur every week, same time. I have input all off them on our shared Outlook calendar. However, here is an email I received from my boss, asking to make them all individual instead, with reasons why: Why I asked for individual groups is because I use the coverage calendar to track how I covered things and justify FTE during budget time. If groups are entered as reoccurring, any changes to the reoccurring appointment auto changes all meetings in the calendar erasing everything that was done throughout the year. Also, when listed as reoccurring, any change of color, changes the entire series which is not helpful in quickly identifying GAPS and increases the chances of uncovered groups going unnoticed. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can do this without creating an individual event all the time? Thanks in advance!
Room Mailbox Time Zone change
Hello there, has anybody experienced what the consequences of correcting the time zone configuration of a room mailbox when its already fully booked with appointments (especially re-occuring ones)? The appointments are all booked from Central European Time Zone and the Room Mailbox is in Reykjavik Time Zone. What will happen with the existing serial meetings? Our fear is that after correcting the time zone of the room mailbox to CET, then it will +-2 hours move the appointments. BR, AlinHow to resolve continous threat (spam) emails on my android app?
Dear Awesome Community Members, I am having problems with scams on my phone's outlook app. I am recieving through my own email address addressed to me. I delete them all and also I have tried to block them but they are red flagged and says you are hacked. Please help me how to fix this issue on my phone at your earliest. outlook says storage is full but its not.
can someone explain how im paying for a service from a multibillion dollar company but yet it says i only have 5gb for email then says i have 100gb of storage but cant send or receive emails. support is no help and they only submit tickets to my email but guess what i cant receive them.
Emails containing links
When you reset a password a link is sent to you to verify it is you. I don't receive those emails. The sender confirms that they have been sent and received by my email address but it does not show in my inbox or junk folder. I have gone through all of the suggestions on microsoft community but nothing has resolved this. What is wrong?
Anyone else hate the New Desktop Outlook?.
Hello people I was wondering if anyone else Hated the Desktop version of Outlook?. To me its slower and unresponsive compared to previous versions. Even Windows Mail was faster and the brings up old email accounts that you deleted and no longer use long ago. It seems while good intentions this one has not been tested properly. Just shoved out the door. And lastly trying to find Emails that your sent or received is another nightmare. One part of this Classic Outlook update could easily confuse people, so it is worth clearing up. In June 2026, Microsoft is retiring the People Card Expanded View in Classic Outlook. The full People Card is not going away. Users will still be able to open the standard contact card. What is changing is the expanded view, which gives users a little more context and a few extra details in one place. Internet Subscribed Calendar Refresh/Sync RAGE!!!
Words can't express the rage I feel at Microsoft for eliminating the ability to force refresh/sync internet subscribed calendars on demand. I have multiple calendars that I need to overlay IN REAL TIME to do my job - PTO, work anniversaries, holidays, and work events via GoCo (our ASO), Kayak for travel, and Planner Tasks (Microsoft's own product!) to name a few. Moreover, I like to overlay my personal calendars (Google and Apple) as well so I can get a full view of my life on one screen. Is saving a little money by limiting users to one scheduled sync every 24 hours worth it if it makes your product absolute trash?! Fix this or people will flock to other providers - like Google or Apple - who apparently still care about customer experience. GAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I am referring to the per-mailbox throttling limits documented here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/throttling-limits#limits-per-mailbox Specifically: 150 MB limit for PUT/POST/PATCH requests within a 5-minute window 4 concurrent requests per mailbox In a multi-tenant SaaS application scenario, these limits can become restrictive when processing large volumes of mailbox data. I would like clarification on the following: Is it possible to request an increase in these per-mailbox limits through Microsoft (e.g., via support or a formal quota increase request)? Are there recommended architectural patterns or best practices to efficiently handle high-throughput scenarios while staying within these limits? Can tenant administrators (our customers) configure or influence these limits through Microsoft 365 admin settings? Any official guidance or recommendations would be highly appreciated
New Outlook: This message can't be saved right now. Please try again
We are having an issue in New Outlook with shared mailboxes. This issue just started happening. User replies to an email in a shared mailbox. User changes the "from" field to her email. User tries to send the email but receives an alert "This message can't be saved right now. Please try again later." The message then closes and a copy of the email is saved to the Drafts folder. No permissions have changed. If user tries the same actions in the Outlook Web Client or Classic Outlook, the user is able to send the email without issue. We've tried resetting New Outlook, restarting Windows, behavior persists. Again, this function was working up until recently. Microsoft Outlook Version: 1.2026.317.100 WebView2 Version: 146.0.3856.84 (Stable) Please advise how we can resolve this issue.Deleted folders
Hello, I have had an older and a new email account registered in outlook. Since the old account wasn’t connected to a server anymore, Outlook showed always some download errors. I have therefore decided to remove that account from Outlook. The problem is that I have apparently been using some folders related to that account for emails from the other and removing it made disappear, without significant warnings, all my emails. What can I do to get them back? …and there don’t seem to be any folders or files in Outlook from where to recover something, like described on some pages on the internet."New" Outlook is not great
I was forced to switch to the new version of Outlook. I have to have it for my job so I have no choice. So many things wrong when compared to the classic version. You would think that MS would migrate all the settings, views, etc. to the new version. But they didn't. -Event/reminder snooze options - now limited to two hours? Now I get reminders every two hours for something I need to snooze for days or weeks like I was able to before. -Contact views - can't view my contacts in the classic table format where I can filter/sort by company name or last name, etc. -Spell check now cleared by left mouse click instead of the usual right click like all other apps have. -No longer can select multiple email attachments like the classic version -Email folders cannot be sorted anymore Again...love Outlook but this new version is not a winner. MS...please bring back all the classic options!
