Room Mailbox Time Zone change
Hello there,
has anybody experienced what the consequences of correcting the time zone configuration of a room mailbox when its already fully booked with appointments (especially re-occuring ones)? The appointments are all booked from Central European Time Zone and the Room Mailbox is in Reykjavik Time Zone.
What will happen with the existing serial meetings? Our fear is that after correcting the time zone of the room mailbox to CET, then it will +-2 hours move the appointments.

In general, it shouldn't as these are meetings and not appointments. Also, the meetings aren't created by the Room Mailbox but within the Mailbox Calendar of the organizer. This means that time-zone information is stored within the meeting and thus the "relative time" will remain the same.
So, when an organizer scheduled a meeting at 14:00 CET, it will now show as 12:00 in the Calendar with the Reykjavik time zone. Changing the time zone of the mailbox will then show it correctly as 14:00 CET which is still 12:00 within the Reykjavik time zone.
Also note that the time zone of the Room Mailbox doesn't (always) really matter. When you connect to it with Classic Outlook and your Windows time zone is set as CET, you will see all meetings within the Room Mailbox as CET as well.
