Employment Verification endless loop of rejection. and cycle
We are stuck in this process like many other. We have major Apps showing unverified now with Major US Business, DOT and governmental agencies. We have supplied Invoices from AWS, ICANN, Registrar's and others and still rejected. Is there a way to actually work with a staff member to fix this issue. We, and the MS Partner Program looks pretty bad in our case.Elwha101Dec 18, 2024Copper Contributor2.7KViews1like11CommentsLegal business profile Verification Problem
Hello, I wanted to start a discussion, which has been mentioned several times in this Hub. Our profile is currently stuck in an infinite loop during Employment Verification (including Legal Business Profile verification). This is preventing us from offering our solution in the market, and we’re encountering what feels like a gating issue. I came across information that the domain name must match exactly with the one registered under our Microsoft account. The challenge is that our MSFT account was created with a domain format like: name@[companyname][YYMM].onmicrosoft.com, which does not exactly match our [companyname] ("domain"). Are there alternative solutions or steps to resolve this mismatch and streamline the verification process? At this rate, I’m concerned that we won’t be able to move forward. We’ve already created a ticket regarding this issue, but the responses so far have been very one-dimensional and haven’t addressed the root of the problem. I’d greatly appreciate if someone could provide more in-depth guidance or support on this matter. Thank you, and I look forward to your help.BoostSolutionDec 17, 2024Copper Contributor20Views1like0CommentsHELP - MS Vetting Process Cancelled
Dear all, We have been trying to get into the Windows Hardware Developer Program for months, trying to get our driver signed. We had to postpone launch for months now: it is very business critical. After 2 months of back & forth with support, we finally got in, and were preparing our HLK tests to submit. Once ready, we returned to the partner portal to see that now our vetting process got cancelled... There is no reason stated anywhere, no way to reapply, nothing... We're so desperate that we created this post. Creating support tickets is trash. It takes you a week before you get a templated or AI generated response that does not help you. After a while a human gets assigned to your case, but they often times are unable to help and just let the ticket die. Calling the support desk is worse: MS's IVR only knows how to refer you to O365 or Azure support pages. If you answer anything else, it cuts you off and ends the call. If you do manage to prompt it correctly, it will finally send you over to a human, who looks at your ticket and notices that it indeed has been open for months without help, but cannot assist further. I'm sure we're not the only people struggling, since I've seen multiple very similar (not same) posts to this one. Does anyone have any clue what the problem might be & how to fix this? We are trying to submit our Microsoft Word Add-on app for approval. When trying to set up our partner center Legal business profile, we've run into repeated business errors. The biggest issue is our Developer info. We've submitted our domain registration, ownership, GoDaddy domain portfolio, and even our articles of incorporation, but cannot get anyone to help us move past the employment verification stage. We've checked multiple times that the information we submitted matches our domain registration. At this point, we're out of ideas and could really use some help from someone at Microsoft. We've tried submitting support tickets (4 total) and all we got were copy+paste requests asking for the information we already submitted. This has been going on for over a month. Also, our Partner page is stuck on identity verification and has been pending for days.TalkingTreeDec 17, 2024Copper Contributor122Views0likes6CommentsDeveloper Verification 1. Sept - 28. Nov 2024 (solved)
First of all today it seems like we got verified as developer - yet it doesn't feel like time to party for us. Because next we need to test if the hardware program works at all or if it's as flawed as the rest of the Partner Portal. We started the process in September 2024, it was a very rough ride with Microsoft. The Microsoft Partner Portal is full with bugs and when opening tickets Microsoft doesn't really fix them. Don't try to fix problems by yourself you will just run into more problem (eg. removing the certificate or even removing the hardware program from an account - don't remove anything from an account by yourself because it doesn't work properly it will leave traces in the database which will lock out the particular features). The entire process is useless from my point of view, Microsoft does a more extensive company review than the Certification Authority - so why require the EV Certificate at all? The only answer Microsoft can give is we don't want to interrupt the money flow to the Certification Authority. The Microsoft support is ridiculous - max one email per day / max 5 days a week and not much useful.HFHTWNov 28, 2024Brass Contributor47Views0likes0CommentsCant enroll in programs nor contact support properly.
Hello i have been trying to enroll in the Microsoft partner program for the Xbox and market place. however I keep being denied due to some kind of error on microsofts end due to the fact that I cant reach support as I have no workspaces capable of selection in the little contact support form. I am attempting to ask someone to help me speak to an agent so that my account can be enrolled and maybe even given the global admin permissions it is supposed to have aswell hopeful for future correspondence j greengreen6166Nov 28, 2024Copper Contributor86Views0likes4CommentsDeveloper Verification 23. Another week has passed, our current status - Verification Cancelled ... by whom? No one knows. Before we received this email: Afterwards I checked our status in the portal: Yesterday's status: I ha.te this so much ... since September we are doing this nonsense, 2 days ago I was asked to verify our company email..... there should be a button send verification .. well it was just not in our portal account. They added more nonsense to this we had to modify the domain name entry and add some MS specific information to it... good we did it but ...WHAT FOR?? We just want to release a signed driver nothing else. How many years will this go on? Now we're heading to 3 months with this Microsoft Partner Portal sh.it. Developer Verification 16. I need to change my Legal Name to go thru verification, and I can't because it said I have to be a global admin, but I am already a global admin! Please advise! Also - are there an option to restart vetting process?mehalDec 12, 2024Copper Contributor138Views1like6CommentsShame on Microsoft
So it seems like removing forum posts works, but removing a certificate from the Microsoft Database OR fixing this idoti.c Microsoft Partner Portal does not work within 2 MONTHS (whereas I see problems with this Partner Portal for almost a year now)? Maybe the Forum admins should be levelled up to become backend administrators? If Microsoft is not competent enough to fix the Microsoft Partner Portal problems, how about hiring skilled people rather than keep going with the current incompetent people who cannot and who are not willing to fix any problems? Don't be shocked but Microsoft AI is not up to it and will not fix it. Why does Microsoft want to rely on cross signed Windows drivers if Microsoft is not competent enough to implement that in their eco-system? Digicert is able to verify a company within 1 day while Microsoft is not able to fix their B2B issues within 2 month. Microsoft is not even able to verify the developer identification properly even though the developer is set as company owner which also shows up in the DUNS database. What's the goal of all that? Keep/make other people angry? It's so easy to fix those issues, why don't you guys just fix them? And reading .. the other department doesn't share information, yes well then they should be laid off or getting taught to share information. The way Microsoft is going is absolute incompetent at the moment. I really wonder how Microsoft can run a cloud service with such unreliable staff, customers joining this madness is nothing but an economical sui.cide mission.HFHTWNov 27, 2024Brass Contributor135Views0likes4Comments
