42 TopicsFrustrating support responses - business verification
I've been trying to get my business verified. It's a maddening process and the support "people" don't appear to understand how dates work. I sent our VAT registration document - too old (well it's as old as the company is as you'd expect and couldn't be more proof that it exists legally). So I sent our bank statements for March 2025. I get a response that says that's too old. I ask them to look at it again as it's literally last month. Then I get this response today: "...The document that you have provided is no longer valid since it was issued for the period (01/03/2025 - 31/03/2025). Kindly share with us a more recent document. All documents submitted should be issued within the previous 12 months or where the expiration date is a future date that is at least 2 months away." I'm beyond understanding how they think last month is over 12 months ago. Somebody please help me. Support ID 2503270040004554How to log a support ticket
Hello Partners, Support has shared the following feedback on how to log a support ticket if you are having trouble with your verification. ---------------------------------- Review our Partner Center documentation site (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/) and open a new partner support ticket (Help + support - Partner Center (microsoft.com)) or review this learn article: Get help and contact support in Partner Center - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn or https://partner.microsoft.com/dashboard/v2/support/servicerequests/create? and choose the support topic that most closely resembles the issue you are experiencing.Identity verification has been rejected
Our company is an IC design company, and our primary products are used in mice and touchpads. We have always submitted the HLK Submission through the Hardware workspace in Partner Center without any issues. However, one day our identity verification was rejected, and since then we’ve been completely unable to access the Hardware workspace. We have only one goal: to submit the HLK Submission. We want to update our information so that Microsoft can re-review our account identity, but the “Update” button does not appear, nor is there a “Fix Now” button. Since February, we’ve tried creating dozens of support cases. Support usually replies with a link to this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/enroll/verification-responses We’ve already read that article thoroughly. It states: “If identity verification is Rejected and you don't see a Fix now button, there's no further action required. The account is suspended.” Sometimes support asks us to provide additional information (e.g., Seller ID? Company documents?), and we always respond immediately. Sometimes they tell us it’s under review and ask us to wait a few business days — which we do. But the identity verification issue is never resolved, and the case is eventually closed without resolution. Here are two of the case IDs we’ve submitted so far: 2504180010000525 2504220010000158 Here are all the documents we’ve provided so far: Domain WHOIS screenshot Company Registration Amendment Form Domain management fee receipt Domain SSL certificate proof of purchase Employment certificate of the account user Employee name badge and ID of the account user We’ve also tried creating a brand new developer account to register for the Microsoft Windows Hardware Developer Program — but again, we’re stuck at the identity verification stage with no Update or Fix Now button available. As a final resort, we even tried to seek paid support, hoping to get specialized help through a paid service: https://partner.microsoft.com/zh-tw/support/partnersupport We submitted our contact information twice, but have not received any service or reply. We also reached out to a Microsoft engineer directly. The engineer responded: “The Partner Center currently only provides a channel for creating cases through the Partner Management Center, and there are no other phone or paid support channels available.” We are completely out of ideas. Since we are unable to submit the HLK Submission, this issue has seriously affected the production schedule of our products. Has anyone else encountered a similar situation?Appeal Microsoft Partner Center Vetting Process
I joined the Microsoft Partner program two days ago. They took my payment, but immediately put me through the rigorous vetting process nitpicking at every little detail, putting me on the Employment verification stage. No mater what document I provided to prove I own my company and my domain - invoice for my domain purchase, proof of my company's status and ownership via my country's company registry - I kept getting rejected for one bleak reason or another.. Finally I ran out of "tries" to the vetting process??? Something that was mentioned absolutely nowhere and there is absolutely no way for me to try and continue with it. I simply got an email saying that I have 30 days to fix the issues or my account will be terminated and yet - no matter of how to approach this issue was mentioned... I created a support ticket explaining the situation and asking for an appeal. I can see my support ticket, but when I click on it - I am met with this amazing message: "There was a problem retrieving the support request details." Can someone advice me how to process from here or should I just wait for the 30 days to pass and HOPE to get my money back for Microsoft wasting my time with vague bureaucracy?SolvedUnable to create Partner Center account
Let me start by saying that there are multiple threads on this issue, but the responses I've seen have not helped me to resolve this issue. I've exhausted all of my options at this point. I am attempting to create a partner center account. I'm based in the United States, and after submitting a valid D-U-N-S and EIN and the required information, I receive this error: Microsoft runs on trust. We engage in a rigorous set of evaluation and certification processes; as a result your request was blocked. If you require further information please reach out to Microsoft support with reference number: {Reference Number} and transaction ID: {Transaction ID}. It is not possible to contact Partner Center support or create a support ticket in the partner center as is recommended on other threads and on the Microsoft documentation. When you attempt to create a support ticket, the "Workspace" is a required field, but no options are available because the original error takes place prior to being able to create a workspace. I want to reiterate - it is not possible to contact Partner Center support or create a support ticket to resolve this issue.SolvedError message: unable to validate your 'Create new GDAP relationship'
In Partner Center I want to create an admin relationship request for a certain customer. As you can see below I receive an error message when I clicked on 'finalize request'. The details of the error message: We are unable to validate your 'Create new GDAP relationship' request at this time. Be advised anonymous connections are not allowed for this service. If you believe you received this message in error, please try your request again. Click to learn about action you can take. If the issue persists, contact support and reference message code 715-123220 and Transaction ID: xxxxxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx. I tried to create a request on different times of the day and even my colleague doesn't managed to finalize the request because she also receives the same message. Does anyone here has a solution for this because I need to create this request as soon as possible. Thanks in advance!Solved2.1KViews1like7CommentsMicrosoft Store Developer registration

Hi, About 2 months ago I signed up for an organization Microsoft development account, however, I've been stuck on "Email verification" ever since. Regardless of how often I press the "fix now" button, I will never receive the email verification email. I also tried to contact support with this issue an was assigned a support ticket ID (2504100040007995) but even there I keep running into issues. I cannot seem to view the details of the ticket but I did receive an email a few days ago that my support ticket got closed 🙄 What can I do get unstuck from this ? Many thanks!Issue in registration process
Hi, I am trying to register my organization for a partnership (Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program). Goal is to become a "Solution Partner for Data & AI". During the process I get the following error: {"code":2100,"description":"A legal entity matching the request payload already exists when creating the legal entity.","data":[],"source":"PartnerAccountEnrollmentApi"} From my current understanding there is no existing partnership registration for my company. Can you please advice on this? Best, CarstenSolvedCan't pass Employment Verification phase
Cant pass Employment Verification phase. "This application is insufficient for the requirements of the program." We have provided a Cloudflare domain invoice that includes the domain name, exact company name, my name, exact company address, and it is dated within the last 12 months. I have used the "Fix Now" option multiple times and exhausted all attempts. After that, I have been going back and forth with a real person for weeks, but their responses seem to be generic and often incomplete email templates. The last time I tried, I put together what I thought was the ultimate helpful email, laying out all the required information in the clearest way possible. I attached three documents with all the requested details and even more supporting information. After waiting a week, I received a response that simply said: "This application is insufficient for the requirements of the program." I never received any further information or assistance in any of the previous emails, and I am completely in the dark. I have read multiple posts in the community, and it seems like many people are facing the same issue. Is there any actual solution to this, or should I just give up now? I have tried with several accounts and lost a few hundred dollars in the process. I also read that they do not even refund non-verified accounts. It feels like outright fraud. I need help. Should I have any hope, or is this a lost cause?
