Ongoing Issue with Employment Verification in Microsoft Partner Program
Hello I am experiencing a persistent issue with the Employment Verification process in the Microsoft Partner and Reseller programs. When attempting to resolve the issue by clicking “Fix Now” after a rejected verification, I am continuously redirected back to the Identity Verification step. Even after completing the identity verification, I am sent back to Employment Verification, only to be rejected again. This creates a loop, and every time I click “Fix Now,” I am not given the option to upload any documents, but instead, I am redirected to the previous step, making it impossible to proceed. This issue has been ongoing for 50 days, and I have contacted Microsoft Support many times. Unfortunately, I continue to receive the same generic responses, asking for the same documents to be uploaded. After submitting them, there is no further follow-up, and the issue remains unresolved. It seems as though I am receiving automated responses without any real resolution. What adds to the frustration is the contradiction in the process: The exact same documents I submitted for Developer Verification, which were successfully processed and authorized, are being rejected for the Partner and Reseller programs, despite being identical in every way. Given the significant impact this issue is having on my business, I am reaching out to the community for assistance. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem, or is there any guidance on how to resolve this? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and support.younesonesJan 13, 2025Copper Contributor2.5KViews5likes43CommentsIssue Accepting Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Agreement
Hello, having an issue accepting the cloud partner agreement while enrolling in Partner Center. I am trying to accept the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Agreement, I have found my organization through DUNS and select continue. The Company Information section of the form comes up, with this error: " The company name isn’t valid. Enter a valid legal company name." Our company via DUNS is "Formstack, LLC" When I click on "Accept and Continue" from the Company Information section of the form, it loads for a moment but nothing happens. I am unable to submit a ticket to support as I am not yet in a Workspace. Any assistance would be much appreciated!Amar_MakimJan 09, 2024Copper Contributor6.4KViews0likes39CommentsMicrosoft's Verification and Support System
Microsoft's verification and support system is absolutely appalling. Despite providing every piece of required information for my company, their system continues to reject my verification attempts. I've gone above and beyond by paying extra to create additional email accounts in the format email address removed for privacy reasons. I've submitted QR-coded invoices officially verified by government authorities. Our WHOIS data is current and accurate. My name matches perfectly across all documentation and our DUNS number is correct. Yet, I keep receiving the same frustrating response: "This is because the primary contact details did not match." When I reach out through their official support channels, it takes them five days just to respond. It's been two months now, and I'm still waiting for approval just to register. It's absurd that such a large company maintains such a disastrous system. All they need to do is verify real users directly without relying on AI algorithms. They're so focused on automating everything with artificial intelligence that they've created a dysfunctional process. Despite all their technology, humans still remain superior at handling these verification tasks, yet Microsoft seems determined to automate a process they haven't properly designed.kaanvisionMay 10, 2025Brass Contributor1.3KViews3likes36CommentsStuck on Employment Verification with no indication of issue or how to fix
Greetings, We want to add our app to the Microsoft Store, the submission is ready however we cannot submit until the account has been verified. In the Legal info section we have entered the company details and the process is stuck at Employment Verification. Under rejected there is a clickable "Things to take care" which I assume displays the issues we need to resolve but which on clicking just makes the page jump a bit. It appears there's a javascript error on the page. We have no way to know how to proceed. Has anyone else encountered this? The Partner Center overall seems very buggy. The support requests we have logged generate an error when we try to access themdineenjohnSep 12, 2023Copper Contributor10KViews2likes35CommentsWhy is it so hard to get verified? | Microsoft Partner Center
We've been stuck at the "Employment Verification" stage in Microsoft Partner Center for what feels like forever. Despite countless attempts, multiple support tickets, and submitting every possible document, we're still not verified. We've meticulously rechecked every entry—domains, names, contacts, phone numbers—tried different combinations, and still, nothing. Even setting up our account was a struggle. It took multiple days. Using a desktop was not possible at all, we had to use a mobile phone. We encountered countless bugs, had to delete, unlink, and recreate our Partner Center account multiple times. We've been paying customers for years and have generally had great experiences with other Microsoft Support channels. Often, our support tickets were resolved within minutes! But now, with Microsoft Partner Center, it feels like an entirely different game. Even the Admin Center support team mentioned that the process is "more complicated." We've been waiting for weeks, only to receive generic, unhelpful responses to issues that shouldn't even be problematic—they should be handled automatically. Why this process is so difficult? We have scheduled appointments and no one from Microsoft shows up. Other times we get calls from MS agents just to help us open another ticket. We have already received two emails claiming that our account is verified, only to find out that it is not. At some point it just gets ridiculous. I see that we are not the only ones. We've read all the sad stories from others in the same situation. Does anyone have any more tips left that might help us finally get verified? We are on the verge of simply giving up.RamiRamiRamiAug 27, 2024Brass Contributor3.9KViews9likes26CommentsCSP Verification Issues Continue
Can someone please decipher the below and tell me what the verification team is actually asking for or what they mean by "the domain provided in your submission is insufficient for the requirements of our program"? Thank you for your Document Apologies for the inconvenience, However, the domain provided in your submission is insufficient for the requirements of our program. Can you send us a recent additional document that contains the domain and company name or a contact name as they appear on your account? we need additional document in which Domain and Entity Name or Partner Name is available, and the Documents submitted must have been issued within the previous 12 months. The fact that they're asking for additional documents showing the domain and entity name after saying the domain is insufficient for the requirements of the program is confusing. I've provided them with endless documents containing the information they ask for. Yet, they come back with the same generic response without explaining what else could be provided. At this stage, I'm deleting my organisation from the Microsoft Partner portal.SolvedSamuelRoachJun 14, 2023Iron Contributor10KViews0likes26CommentsIssues with Account Verification and Revoked Partner Status
Hello everyone, Since July 30th, I have been struggling to resolve an issue with account verification in Microsoft Partner Center and to restore my partner status. Here's a summary of the problem: In April, I successfully completed the verification process by submitting all the required documents to confirm my domain ownership. The documents met all the criteria, including the 12-month validity requirement. On July 30th, my developer status was revoked without any explanation. I have requested clarification several times, but each time I only received requests to resubmit the same documents I had already provided. I resubmitted the documents on August 8th, but I still haven't received any constructive response, just automated messages. Recently, I received a message saying that several attempts to verify my information were unsuccessful, and the process was closed. This could result in my relationship with Microsoft being terminated within 30 days. My team has spent a year learning the Graph API and developing our Outlook application, and now it seems we won’t be able to publish it due to unclear verification issues. Could someone please advise if there is a way to expedite the resolution of this problem? I have submitted all the required documents and met the necessary criteria, yet I continue to face rejections. Here are my support ticket numbers for reference: 2404250040003907 2409030040003632 2408210040001904 2409060040005012 I would greatly appreciate any help or advice on how to proceed. I can't get my company/entity approved on the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner (PartnerCenter) because it sees another instance of my entity. Originally, I attempted to use my domain https://sivility.com but because that's hosted with Godaddy, Microsoft wouldn't allow the domain to be used to register on the PartnerCenter. So I'm now attempting to register my company under the domain http://www.sivilitysystems.com but it now gives me the error below because it see's the first attempt under the first domain I tried and failed on. So the system automatically rejects me. I need this fixed because I'm an IT Company and have lots of customers relying on me getting this resolved. {"code":2100,"description":"A legal entity matching the request payload already exists when creating the legal entity.","data":[],"source":"PartnerAccountEnrollmentApi"}SolvedKenEynonMar 01, 2024Copper Contributor4.6KViews3likes23CommentsPartner verification is totally broken & not fit for purpose.
The entire system is an utter shambles. Just look at the number of posts form partners worldwide who have been partners for years yet now can no longer get verified. I too have been a partner for over 20 years and I've been trying since October last year to get these issues fixed. Wasn't an issue until I signed up to the CSP program. I truly wish I hadn't bothered. I have been round and round and round. I have submitted every document under the sun. Articles of Incorporation, Certificate of Incorporation, Letter on headed paper, DUNS certificate, Bank Statements. I just constantly get back that "the documents do not match the information you entered for your account" I raise support tickets, I email, they don't read them properly, they just send a standard response back. You reply to the response email and then get an email back saying "Deleted Not Read" so they are clearly ignoring anyone's responses to their meaningless emails. The portal doesn't work properly, it displays conflicting information. The Fix Now buttons don't work. I get an email stating my CSP is verified but my MPN ID isn't. Then I check on the portal and it says both are unverified. So how can they send an email saying its verified and then the portal says it isn't? I email and ask, they respond with "the documents do not match the information you entered for your account" I ask them on email please be clear about what they want changing, they respond with "the documents do not match the information you entered for your account" They are like particularly dim robots. They haven't a clue, and they don't care. This is what happens when you outsource. Microsoft are happy to take your money but it seems they no longer want to have their small business partners. Why don't they just own up and say rather than getting rid of us all by wearing us down by this method? If they cared they would engage properly and have someone from the Team involved in this forum rather than poor Jill who is not part of the verification team and has to field all these postings. I am utterly tired of the whole thing and seriously just considering ditching the entire partner program. Who needs the constant stress and mental anguish!Solvedqueeg505Aug 12, 2024Brass Contributor2.7KViews11likes18Comments
