Deleting Draft Emails
In the New Outlook for the past few months I have NOT been able to delete draft emails in my deleted folder. I have tried various ways suggested to remove them but unfortunately they are still there. I know 4 emails does not seem like much but the fact they are still there and will not delete permanently is unusual. I have deleted the account and program from y computer and then restarted and reinstalled program/email. Unfortunately they are still there and will not delete. Any help in resolving this would be appreciated. Thanks,Roger_BeekmanNov 08, 2024Copper Contributor4Views0likes0CommentsI need to return to my classic Outlook. I need to turn off new toggle. I can't. Help
I obviously am not computer literate but I must get back to the classic Outlook. I have had my company email for years and it has the name of our company. The directions to get from the new Outlook to the classic are confusing. Please help if you can. In the Old Outlook Desktop I had the option to keep messages UNREAD untill I clicked twice to open them. The new outlook does not seem to support this option. I tried the option: "Weergeven items markeren als gelezen wanneer de selectie wordt gewijzigd" and "Items niet automatisch markeren als gelezen", both keep messages unread, even after opening them with double click.Petra-Van-HorenNov 08, 2024Iron Contributor3KViews0likes9CommentsHow to migrate my Exchange Plan 1 to a Business Microsoft 365 Outlook account?
I currently have a Bluehost Exchange Online Plan 1 that contains Microsoft 365. I have been using the Outlook app as my email platform. I now have gone with a new hosting provider and want to cancel my account with Bluehost, but I am unsure how to export all my information from this Outlook account into my new business Microsoft 365 account, which is now standalone. I have looked at Purview, Outlook, 365, MyAccount, Exchange, and eDiscovery to find a way. I keep ending at a dead end. Of course, you can only speak to a live person at Microsoft unless you are giving them money to purchase a product. I have a whole history of emails that are very important to my business. I have tried for over a month to get my emails moved. I have talked with Bluehost several times, and they have been of no help. I have tried to get help from Microsoft and have gotten nowhere. I have started to look for someone who specializes in Microsoft products to see if they could help me. I have an Exchange Plan 1 @celistialart.com with Bluehost and a Microsoft 365 account with @CELIStialArt.onmicrosoft.com. I was told that I needed to purchase a new account, so that is why I have two accounts. I was talking with Bluehost today, and they said that Microsoft could have taken my account out from under them and made it a standalone account. My frustration level is so high. I am just trying not to have my Outlook account with Bluehost. This should be an easy process. I tried to do the migration and ran into errors. "Error: ImapTemporaryServerErrorException: Imap server has encountered a temporary error. --> Imap server sent NO response to LOGIN. Response code." message: Server Unavailable. 15. I have tried to call Microsoft to see if they could help me, but once again, you can't talk to anyone unless you want to make a purchase. Can anyone help me with this process? Does Microsoft work with contractors who could do this process for me? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. By the way, my Outlook account from Exchange Plan 1 does not have a File option in the main navigation. I have no way to create a PST file.CReasonerNov 07, 2024Occasional Reader6Views0likes0CommentsOutlook for Mac - Crash on PST import
I have several different PST files (mostly the same data, just different saves from different dates, most below 1gb), but they all cause my Outlook for Mac to crash. They import for a while and I can see old folders uploading and the blue progress bar filling up , but 2/3 to 3/4 of the way to completion, outlook crashes and when I reopen nothing got imported. Somebody please help! ThanksDannyKNov 07, 2024Occasional Reader3Views0likes0CommentsSignature synchronization between Outlook Desktop and Web Client
I created a signature using my Outlook Desktop Client, and how do I get it to synchronize with my 0365 Outlook Web Client? From what I have read so far, it isn't very clear how to accomplish this. I created it using my Desktop Outlook Client because creating a signature with links and graphics is much easier and more straightforward. I hope to have the same signature whether I am using the Web or Desktop client. Hi all, I have a HTML email template, which I have been using and tweaking for months to create our emails. It contains Tables in order to render on Outlook (sigh) and has always done the job thus far. I ran a test last week for our next marketing email, and it was aligning all absolutely fine. However, suddenly, the text has started not aligning with the header and totally ignoring the table, pushing itself all out to the left (see image below). Important to note, that this not only applies to emails I have sent or tested in the last few days, but also to every single email I have sent in the past. It only applies on Outlook, and only on the Outlook software on Desktop, mobile is fine. What is excessively annoying, is that the header lines up, and the text is contained in the same "main table" as the header, I tried quite a few ways to contain the text section back into the main table, but I'm running out of ideas. Also thinking it might have something to do with Outlook updating its rendering software, as I already had to use the code described on this page -https://knak.com/blog/microsoft-introduces-advanced-typography/- to fight Outlook's arbitrary hyphenation (this was successful) but I can't find a fix this time, and I'm really starting to despair. Any ideas? Or anyone with the same issue?Bastien_LNov 07, 2024Occasional Reader13Views0likes0CommentsCan't add Snooze to Quick Actions (is the feature being deprecated?)
Hi All, I just noticed that the 'Snooze' icon is no longer available in my quick actions column: Also in the settings I can't re-add it, nor can it be assigned as a swipe action. Are we looking at the removal of this (for me very useful) feature? Or do I miss something and can you tell me where to add it again?gabrielvdkNov 07, 2024Copper Contributor10Views0likes2CommentsNew Outlook Send to Notes
Can anyone verify that the "Send to Notes" feature has been killed with the release of "New Outlook"?xoxideinNov 07, 2024Iron Contributor8Views0likes1Comment
