Synchronization issue in New Outlook for Mac – ״Failed to refresh subscriptions.״
Hello, I am using Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) on Mac, running macOS 26.1 (Tahoe). My Outlook client is: Outlook for Mac Version 16.103.3 (25113013), with a Microsoft 365 Subscription license. Since yesterday morning, in the New Outlook interface, my inbox has suddenly appeared empty, and I constantly receive the following error message: “Failed to refresh subscriptions.” It’s important to note: In Legacy Outlook, everything works perfectly. The web version and the Outlook app on my mobile phone also work well. The issue persists regardless of the network I am on (home, office, cellular, etc.). Troubleshooting steps I already tried: • Updating Outlook to the latest version • Removing and re‑adding the account • Clearing cache and preferences • Formatting my Mac and reinstalling everything from scratch Unfortunately, none of these steps has resolved the issue. Is this a known bug, and is there a recommended workaround or an upcoming fix? Appreciate assistance on that issue.AviadkrDec 03, 2025Copper Contributor37Views0likes2CommentsHow to view 2 weeks in new calendar
This was so easy in the old calendar. All I did was hold the CTRL button and highlight the days I needed to view, I would then be able to see 2 weeks on my screen and all the details of each day within that 2 week timeframe. I have tried everything in the new outlook and cannot figure out how to do this. Please help??? I am able to create and send through the Outlook app on my phone and I am able to reply and forward form my computer. Hello moderators and Outlook support leads, I have forgotten my account password. Account recovery email is obsolete and unreachable. SMS password-reset does not deliver the code to my phone number. If you can re-trigger SMS reset to my registered number, that is sufficient for me to change the password. Can my existing recovery attempt be escalated for a human identity review? I can prove ownership with inbox subjects and contacts if needed. Kind regards, T JansenTJansenDec 02, 2025Occasional Reader19Views0likes2CommentsAnyone else hate the New Desktop Outlook?.
Hello people I was wondering if anyone else Hated the Desktop version of Outlook?. To me its slower and unresponsive compared to previous versions. Even Windows Mail was faster and the brings up old email accounts that you deleted and no longer use long ago. It seems while good intentions this one has not been tested properly. Just shoved out the door. And lastly trying to find Emails that your sent or received is another nightmare. You have to restart twice before it finally decides oh look there emails.Darren77999Dec 02, 2025Brass Contributor4.5KViews34likes52CommentsUnable to recover my personal outlook email account
Hi Team, I have a personal outlook email account, unfortunately I forgot my password and try to use forgot password. Seems I need to 2 step verification and I can complete first step using mobile number OTP but there is no option to complete second verification. When I try to recover with my second mobile got error as this method is not working. I have filled up the recovery form more than 15-20 times but no response from the Microsoft team. What is the other option to recover my account? Thanks!KaviDec 02, 2025Copper Contributor17Views0likes1CommentLocked out of hotmail
I successfully changed my password 3 weeks ago. I still cannot get into my hotmail because upon entering my password, it wants to send a security code to my OLD phone number. There's no option to change the destination of the code. In my account details, it shows my NEW phone number. I've tried numerous ways to contact outlook support to no avail. 800-642-7676 recorded voice gives me the address of "support website," which tells me to log into my hotmail account for help! Duh. Another number, 843-894-7676 reached a guy who said "wrong number" and hung up. Can anyone help, please???annmarie1072Dec 02, 2025Copper Contributor144KViews0likes3CommentsCustom Search Folders in New Outlook
Does anyone know how to create Custom Search Folders in the new Outlook? At this point I only see a couple of standard searches. In the previous version of Outlook used Custom Search Folders: 1. To create a folder of messages with a specific Label 2. To create a folder to find all messages sent on a specific date. Does anyone know if this is possible? Or how I would go about to use the two described filters? At this point I also can't seem to be able to filter the inbox on Label.SytskeDec 01, 2025Brass Contributor2.3KViews2likes7CommentsAlways display what folder an email is located

I use Categories to color code and organize my calendar. In the New Outlook, the system is randomly assigning categories to some of my calendar items. For example, I have one item that has no category assigned, but now it uses my "Misc Meeting" category. Another one I'd already labeled with the "Analyst Team" category and now it's added "Phone Call" to the item (which is making the wrong color display). In both of these examples, if I right click to access the categories and correct them (or even just "Clear all categories"), once I submit, after a few seconds the incorrect category labels and colors come back.
