email templates that store mail adresses in 'To' and 'Cc'
Is it possible to create e-mail templates that have contacts in the 'To' and 'Cc' boxes? The current template functionality only allows you to store the body of the mail, not persons copies of the templates should go to.SolvedKristelNulensOct 17, 2024Copper Contributor236Views0likes1Commentorganize mails by 'only me in to', 'in to with others', in 'cc'
Hi, I would like to organize newly received mails as follows: The mails for which I'm the only one in the 'To' I want to read first and I want to list at the top of the inbox. The mails for which I'm in the 'To' together with other persons I want to list underneath. The mails for which I'm in 'Cc' I want to list at the bottom. Is the above possible? If yes, how do I do it? Thank you for your help! Regards, KristelSolvedKristelNulensOct 17, 2024Copper Contributor165Views0likes1CommentOutlook shared mailbox showing all Inbox mails
The group folder in: Outlook (Classic) shows group mail + all Inbox mails Outlook (New) shows group mails only Microsoft 365 – OWA shows group mails only Question: I prefer using the group folder in Outlook (Classic) to display only group emails. While OWA and Outlook (New) show this correctly, I can't seem to find the right setting in Outlook (Classic). Can you assist me with this?SolvedLighthouseOct 16, 2024Copper Contributor244Views0likes3CommentsHow to stop Outlook365 from auto-discovering previous credentials on a shared mailbox
As part of complying with security best practise we have converted ‘shared’ regular mailboxes to shared mailboxes. A key requirement is to enable shared mailbox to be set as default and to enable mail sent from SM to go to the SM Sent Items folder. Part of the process is to add the SM under File/Account Settings/Account Settings/New but because these have been used before, the credentials have been stored and auto discovery then prevents the option to ‘Sign in with another account’ on the password pop up… as documented by Microsoft… see section 2d: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/troubleshoot/profiles-and-accounts/add-shared-mailbox-as-additional-account These are the things I have tried to: Removed any previous ost and auto discovery xml files linked with the converted mailbox Disable Auto-Mapping using Exchange Online Powershell Cleared Cached Credentials Cleared any previously saved identities in the registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office<version>\Common\Identity Created New Outlook profile Reset AutoDiscover Settings (outlook.exe /resetnavpane) Disable AutoDiscovery (reg tweak) Disabled Simplified Account Creation (reg hack) Checked for Outlook updates I have proved this works with a MS engineer last night on a fresh laptop account but I really need to fix existing user accounts. I just can’t seem to be able to add the SM with a users account! Any magicians out there that can suggest something? Hi, Since updating my macOS to Sequoia 15.0, Outlook crashes immediately after opening. A few days ago, Word and PowerPoint were also crashing upon startup, but they are now working normally. I am unable to use the “Contact Support” option in the Outlook app, as it freezes within 5 seconds of launching. What is the solution for this? I request someone from the Outlook support team to get back to me at the earliest, and I will share all the error reports. Hello folks, After 40 years of working with MS and a variety of your products and services, it is a lame facility that has forced me here to report a catastrophic outlook server failure when sending a simple email. And yes, I am having a dig at the attitude Microsoft takes to its users by preventing any communication as some senior execs got a few broadsides. I am the receiver of these server failures, the sender is a normal other client. I've been receiving this status for a couple of weeks now on 20% of my incoming email. (I'm getting this from all sorts of users, I've pasted the whole trace as there's nowhere else to communicate this level of failure. My initial research picked up on attempted spam and other misleading causes) The referenced email address of(duc2fait @ gmail.com)appears after the next lines and is key to the cause of this failure, why is the Outlook Server sending there?? I have an user that wants to have all emails accessible in the outlook with out having to go to online archive. Outlook will download all older emails for about 2 weeks and then they disappear and I will have to toggle the download all past emails again for it redownload all the past emails. Currently that is not even working and we are having to go into the online archive and import all emails to the desktop Outlook. Is there a way to make this stop. I'm accessing my email using the classic Outlook app with a Microsoft 365 personal subscription on a Windows desktop PC. (I also have a business email using my employer's 365 business subscription in my Outlook app.) I accidentally blocked a sender's email address in the Outlook app. Even after undertaking all of the following actions, I am still not receiving emails from that sender: Checked my spam folder for the sender's emails Removed the sender's email address from both my Outlook app and Outlook.com blocked senders lists Added the sender's email address and domain to both my Outlook app and Outlook.com safe sender's lists Added the sender's email address to my contacts Checked for any rules blocking the sender's email address Disabled rules to see if a rule was blocking the sender's emails Created a rule to send the sender's emails to my inbox Repaired the Office applications Searched for the sender's emails using Outlook's advanced search options Successfully sent an email to the sender's email address Verified that Focused is turned off Reset my inbox filter Cleared my Outlook cache files Enabled automatic inbox refresh Verified that automatic send/receive is enabled Disabled all add-ins Repaired corrupt Outlook .PST file with ScanPST.exe Repaired corrupt Windows 11 user profile by changing ProfileList registry keys Repaired corrupt Windows 11 user profile with other utilities Reinitialized my apps by running AppXPackage PowerShell command Deleted affected email account from all mobile devices Deleted all mobile devices from Outlook Things I haven't tried yet: Rebuild .ost file Create a new Outlook profile Also, I discovered that any alias I created as a workaround that contains my last name in it (as does my primary alias) are also being blocked by the Microsoft server for some reason, but an alias without my last name isn't being blocked. The sender's tech support has confirmed that the sender's emails are in fact being sent and are shown as being delivered to me. A Microsoft Outlook.com support agent told me that Microsoft needs the SMTP logs from the sender as the only way to diagnose the problem. However, the sender is a major financial institution and the sender's tech support told me they will never release such info due to security issues. I'm being bounced back and forth and back forth between Microsoft's Outlook.com support and Microsoft's Outlook web in-app support, each say the other team can fix this issue. Has anyone else ever experienced this issue and fixed it by doing something I haven't tried yet?SolvedBRfiji41Sep 09, 2024Copper Contributor1.3KViews0likes13CommentsSnooze for Sent email and adding Notes
