A short while ago my outlook stopped working for no reason I tried everything closing reopining, reinstall install, update, repair, and safe mode.
what else I can do??
I can now confirm that this fix worked. I posted on my website:

Hi Lisa,
I can confirm New Outlook launched fine after deleting the OLK folder.
Thank you so much.
I have that same error in my research queue right now. I just did some online research and found some tips that might help. I have not tested these yet, the client chose to go back to Classic. Type in the error "something went wrong we ran into an error microsoft.exchange.data" and you will see a few options for repair. One looked like something I would try, "Clear Local Cache: Press Win + R, type olk.exe --clearLocalState, press Enter, then delete the contents of %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Olk"
I don't often give advice with troubleshooting unless I have done it myself but as I said, the client went back to Classic, so I didn't get a chance to try it.
