Excel jumps to A1 when selecting a range on another sheet during VLOOKUP
Hi everyone, I’m experiencing a strange issue in Excel and I’m hoping someone can help. Steps to reproduce the problem: Open a workbook with at least two sheets (Sheet1 and Sheet2). On Sheet1, start typing a VLOOKUP formula When selecting the table array range, switch to Sheet2 to select the range. Excel unexpectedly jumps the selection or view to cell A1 on Sheet2, losing the intended range selection.Nested App Authentication (NAA) token to protect middle-tier server
I'm working on an outlook addin and want to use the NAA accesstoken to validate the user on an api running on a php webserver. The addin runs as a taskepane (created with yo office) with the app only manifest. I have setup NAA to do Microsoft graph calls on behalf of the user. I have used this guid to setup NAA (copy/past) https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dev/add-ins/develop/enable-nested-app-authentication-in-your-add-in I have setup a php server (not in Microsoft infrastruktur) for a simple API, that handlers MySQL calls and app only calls to Microsoft graph. The php api authenticate itself with a client secret from the Azure app registration. Both are working as expected. Can i use the accesstoken from the NAA, to authenticate the user on the php server? I submitted a question a little while back asking how to delete cells with exactly 3 consonants. The response I had was a huge help, but now I'm faced with a similar problem: How do I sort words by consecutive consonants? And if that cannot be achieved, how can I instead delete cells from a sheet in which a word has 3 consecutive consonants?

So... It is finally happening. Viva Goals is less than two months from shutting down. With Viva Goals having been built by Microsoft for Microsof users, it had a certain advantage over other apps in the app store. So now, what do you all think is the best OKR Software for Microsoft 365? Because I'm pretty sure even though they were warned well in advance, there are probably some organizations still using Viva Goals that will need to switch fast!
Taking text from a multi-line cell and making each line its own row.
Hello, I have a sheet with several thousand lines that I pulled from my current system, and all of the data was exported into cells like this: What I would like to do is take each line and make that line its own row in the sheet. For example, the scooter would have its own row, the MWC have its own row, so on and so forth. Word document crashes
Every time I leave my word document open in my iPads and search for something and then get back to the document, it crashes, that is, it suddenly disappears. I did all the available suggestions to solve the problem including “clear all the documents,” “delete sing-in credentials,” and “reset cloud settings” in Setting of my iPads (11 and 12). I even deleted the app and downloaded it again. None of them worked. Of course, I don’t have the same problem with my old iPad, 10. That’s killing me.Unicode characters conflation?
In the find and replace tool in Word (ctrl+H) I would like to replace the left single quotation mark [ ' = U+2018] with the upper left double quotation mark [ “ = U+201C] (to insert the Unicode values I use the hex value and Alt+X.). Yet, Word consistently replaces the latter with the lower left single quotation mark [ „ = U+201E]. Loop development has seemingly stopped
Our team adopted Loop since many of us prefer the personal knowledge management system style of Notion or Obsidian to other classic note-taking and sharing software. However, many core features are still not present that have been Day 1 features of these other tools, and a quick check of the Loop Roadmap leads me to believe that most features will be security/governance focused. That's disappointing if true, because right now Loop is clearly inspired by those tools, but incredibly far behind in a way that makes it hard to justify their continued use. For example: Cannot embed documents inside Loop-- in Notion you can just drag and drop a PDF to upload, and the /embed command lets you put an interactive document inside the page Cannot select multiple pages to re-arrange structure No Copilot to perform page cleanup-- Notion lets you use AI to fix formatting, and it works very well. No command palette-- this is a must for operating in a knowledge management system No Mac app No mind map a la Obsidian I could continue to produce these examples, but I am hoping to find out that once some core governance features are completed, Microsoft will be focusing some development efforts on improving this platform-- we hope it is not abandonware a few years into it's launch.Account blocked
My account has been blocked and when I try to reset my password and do the verification with my phone number, it says it isnt available. I then put in a different email to send the code too and I have filled out the recovery form but it has rejected me, even though, I put all the correct information in. I have tried over and over. Everything comes in to that email so I really need access back for work purposes as well as private. Math Assistant in OneNote M365 no longer calculates results
I’m a mathematics professor in higher education, and I’ve relied heavily on OneNote for Windows 10 — especially its Math Assistant feature — to support my teaching. While we teach at the university level, the mathematics involved is foundational: from basic first-degree equations to partial derivatives of multivariable functions, limits, definite and indefinite integrals, 2D graphing, and inequality plots. This isn’t advanced research mathematics — it’s core material for management and accounting students. In the previous version of OneNote, I could write an equation, click “Math,” and immediately get the final result. That was extremely helpful for classroom demonstrations and student self-checking. In the current version (OneNote M365), the “Math” button still appears, and it does solve simple equations — but it fails to graph more complex functions and is significantly slower than the previous version. Is Microsoft working to restore the ability to calculate final results and draw 2D graphs reliably, as the previous version did? This feature is essential for teaching and productivity.
