Partially pre-filled form
Hi, I would like to send a form to be completed by a prospective client. I know a handful of the responses, that I would like to pre-fill for the form, and then send that same form to have them finish. Is this an option?Solvedez1138Dec 22, 2025Copper Contributor76Views0likes2CommentsMicrosoft Form
I have a query regarding Microsoft Form: For an example: I'm running a school, where 500+ students are enrolled. To collect some details, we request each & every student to fill the MS Form. My concern in MS Form: There is a branching field in MS Form, if the student is new joined, then he/she has to fill the entire form manually. If the student is an existing student, then he/she has to enter the unique ID from the drop-down field, and the rest fields will automatically pop-up or field with the responses. Once the student confirms that he/she is an existing student option, then they will get an option with the list of drop-down where they have to select their unique ID, and the moment they select the unique ID the remaining fields should automatically capture/display or pop-up the basic details which has been submitted earlier when they were the new joined. I would like to know will it be possible to achieve the above via any means of source, such as React, Python, SPFx, web developing, Power-Automate, Power App or anything. Thank you!SolvedHari2307Dec 09, 2025Copper Contributor163Views0likes3CommentsLock down Form creation for staff
Hi, I want some staff being able to create forms/surveys etc. https://forms.microsoft.com/ I want to ensure that the rest of the staff can consume the forms ,i.e. fill in, but not create new or "Collaborate or Duplicate". What is the best way for me to do this? Thank you for your time, OllieSolved147Views0likes1CommentRemove advertisement after submit a form result
Helllo, When a user submit the results of a form, Microsoft shows a advertisement ( Machen Sie sich bereit für Ihre Event-Einladung! ) How can I remove this advertisement? Thank you for your support. I have three forms. The first shows a link to one of the others two depending on the answers in the first. Clicking on the link opens the next form in a new tab. All well and good but the original form is left open in the original tab. Is there anyway to force the linked form to open in the original tab? I know you can force download of sharepoint files with &download=1 at the end of the urls for example, any url modifications that might do this? Other ideas welcome of course. Thanks, Sam.SolvedSamBGJul 10, 2025Brass Contributor114Views0likes1CommentCopying Excel spreadsheet
Hello Have created a group form and would like to use this form as a template for different events. Excel spreadsheet with responses is used with links and formulas in other worksheets. How can this spreadsheet containing the formulas be used as a template to use with other forms ie trying to avoid having to recreate the other worksheets that contain the formulas. Have tried various workaround which don't work: 1 Duplicate form / delete responses = does not delete responses from spreadsheet 2 Copy worksheet to new spreadsheet = does not work as the spreadsheet filename is part of the formula, so refers to the original spreadsheet (have tried find/replace all, but very cumbersome) Any suggestions, would be greatly appreciated. I've been using Forms to create a Sharepoint list for some months now. Just in the past few days I've had an issue with one submission creating two or more response ID's in the Excel spreadsheet synced with Forms which drives my Power Automate flow to create the item in Sharepoint. Has anyone experienced this? It seems to be a sync timing issue perhaps but I have no idea how to fix it. Here is one example: the first two responses are exactly the same submission. Both have the same start/completed times but the sync to Excel created two different response ID's. The third response 1285 also tagged at exactly the same start time as the completed time on response 1283 and 1284. Can anyone shed some light to this issue?Solvedkellyhickman14096Jun 04, 2025Brass Contributor431Views0likes7CommentsSave MS Form with unique name to reuse
Hello We are using MS form to capture discussions between our sales team and customers. My requirement is we need to be able to save the form with a unique name so we can go back to it and add more info later. We can save the form but the problem is all saved forms show in the list with the same name - ie the Title of the form. Is there a way I can save each the form with a unique name every time we create a new one (when we talk to a different customer). The form was created from a Sharepoint site ThanksSolvedAlan_NewellApr 02, 2025Copper Contributor243Views0likes2CommentsHow do I connect my computer to a printer wirelessly?
