Microsoft forms - How can I add multiple recipients to get notifications once a form is completed?
Does anyone know how to set up Microsoft forms so that when a form is completed the notification gets sent out to multiple recipients or a distribution list?MichelleArellanoOct 16, 2025Copper Contributor276KViews1like78CommentsDrop down box and lists
I would like to see a drop-down box as an option. I created a choose a student and it lists 109 students. I would like it to be a drop-down option. It would also be user friendly if I could just copy an excel column and paste it and each cell becomes a new option.SolvedBrian DixonOct 16, 2025Brass Contributor511KViews12likes45CommentsMicrosoft forms and external upload files possible?
Good afternoon, We as a company want to create forms that our customers can fill in with the data we need. Like plans and technical drawings. I hoped that it would be possible to create these forms, but when i try to add the upload file question I need to change the settings to only internal. Is there no possibility to create forms that have the request of uploading files from external parties we send the link to? In Office 365 Forms, I am attempting to create an event request form. I do not appear to be able to add a question for TIME of Day. I see a template for DATE but not TIME. In Google Forms "include Time" is an option for Date Questions in the contextual sub-menu. Is there someplace to add this function perhaps that I am missing? Ultimately I would like to add a script to the form that would auto-create an Outlook Calendar event on a shared calendar at the date and time on the form submission.William MattisonOct 14, 2025Brass Contributor204KViews35likes98CommentsMicrosoft Forms - Need to view Image on Form
Hello everyone, I am new to Microsoft Forms and could do with some help. I have uploaded several images using the 'Upload file' tool but I need the image itself so show rather than a link. I need to be able to print the form / email it to a customer with the image showing. I have tried changing the images to a PDF and this has not worked. Can anybody help? Is Microsoft Forms even capable of doing this? Or will it show images as links only? Thanks TheotheovalleyOct 14, 2025Copper Contributor5.1KViews0likes2CommentsAllow hidden fields
Hi DingkunXie Can the product team do the following: Create an option to make a field hidden or read-only Allow URL parameters to populate the hidden or read-only field Currently we can use a workaround to hide a field using branching logic, but the hidden field can't be prepopulated with the URL parameter :( This small change will unlock a huge amount of value in the product! Especially in the age of automation and Copilot. Looking forward to seeing this happen :)MattBurrOct 13, 2025Iron Contributor67Views1like2CommentsUnwanted Event Registration at end of survey
I've created a Survey to 600 members of a Charity. That's no problem, it works fine, BUT, after a member clicks "Submit" they get an event registration form. I can't stop this registration happening.Anthony-1962Sep 22, 2025Copper Contributor1.1KViews0likes2CommentsIssues using Quick Import to create a multiple choice quiz
Hi, I'm having issues using the Quick Import option in Forms to create a multiple-choice quiz. It doesn't seem to matter how I format my Word document; when I use the quick import option, it dumps all the questions/ answers into one section. This is the Word doc format I am using. Any suggestions where I am going wrong?EwenGlenSep 18, 2025Copper Contributor81Views0likes2CommentsCopy and past to Microsoft Form multiple question answers
I was wondering if there was a way to quickly copy and past a list possible answers to a Microsoft Forms multiple choice question. I will often have an Excel list of 50 possible answers in a column. It would be great when building a form if I could select the first possible multiple choice question box and the pasted answers would automatically become different answers. Currently when I past the entire list of 50, it just stretches across one answer.Kyle KoenigSep 15, 2025Copper Contributor24KViews0likes7Comments
