Hi, I have created a Microsoft form which contains a field "Pemohon". This field is a VLOOKUP of the type "Multiple Choice". The entries submitted in this form are reflected in the SharePoint list. After submitting the form, the multiple choices entered in the field are not visible in the SharePoint list. Only the first choice among the multiple entries is visible in the List under that field. Even if I edit the entries in the SharePoint list it is still not showing the multiple entries in that field. Is this a bug? or am I doing anything wrong? Anyone else facing this same issue?127Views0likes1CommentForms
I was looking and all I found were similar questions from as far back as 2019, so assuming no solution has been made, yet? Is any way to get a Form to read/populate dynamic choices for a question from an external source say a SharePoint online list? This would make it easier to manage the list without having to update the form each time new options were added. For example, if I had a form with a question asking for a person to assign that day to that task and the list of people available to pick from changes daily (but is scheduled a month in advance with potential last minute tweaks), I would rather pull a list from a common external source than have to update the form each day or any time a person switches days.78Views0likes1CommentForms Moving file location of document uploaded and connecting workbooks to sync responses
I have a Microsoft form i made to enter all of our vehicle maintenance and parts into to track it by vehicle as we have 11 vehicles. I Have a upload button on the bottom of form so I can upload from our Dropbox to save all the receipts/invoices/photos of parts to with each entry on the spreadsheet. I need to adjust some of my folders (sub folder) where the files live on Dropbox. will doing this break the uploaded document or will it still be able to be viewed from the excel spreadsheet that is downloaded from Microsoft forms Second Question: I need to auto populate the form responses from the workbook it syncs to that saves on our SharePoint through our office 365 subscription and have it linked to the Vehicle Tracking Workbook that lives in Dropbox in our vehicle file so when the workbook is opened on Dropbox the form responses added in via Microsoft form copies the new entries to the historical page on the Dropbox version. How can i easily sync the two workbooks together143Views0likes1CommentMS Forms Access & Roles
Dear Community, Previously, an MS Form created by a past intern was lost when he left the company because he was the sole owner. To prevent this from happening again, I would appreciate if you could help with some clarification on a few points: Ownership I understand that, to avoid this mistake, ownership has to be shared and sharing or allocating the MS Form within a Teams Channel can help prevent ownership issues. Am I correct? Would the same approach work if the form was shared within a SharePoint or another platform? Is there a recommended best practice for this? Roles and Permissions How can I ensure that certain individuals are designated as owners (with editing and viewing rights), while others are restricted to only filling out the form without accessing submitted responses? Continuous Access and Updates for Submitters Is it possible for individuals who fill out a form to retain a copy of their submission and have the ability to update it later? If so, how can this be configured? Not sure if these are easy tasks, I came across multiple opinions and techniques online but it's still confusing. Thank you in advance for your assistance!208Views1like1CommentAttachment Column from List not showing up in Forms
I am trying to build a List to feed my forms, and I'm hoping to allow those who fill out the form to be able to add an attachment. Is this possible? I was able to add an attachments column in my list, but it's not showing up as a field option when I create the form.4.5KViews1like9CommentsMicrosoft Forms Spreadsheet not updating after Sensitivity Labels applied
We have created a Microsoft Form on a SharePoint site to collect sensitive data. Our security team wants us to implement an access control sensitivity label applied to the spreadsheet tied to the form data in the even it is accidentally shared. We created an access control sensitivity label scoped to the few members of the SharePoint site and applied it to the spreadsheet and have verified access is indeed blocked if spreadsheet is shared to anyone not allowed in the label. The problem occurs when new data is entered into the form: the spreadsheet no longer updates with new data. We can sync the data to a new spreadsheet and the new responses show up with the old. But again if we apply the label, no new form data is updated. How do we modify the label so that when applied to the form's spreadsheet, new data is allowed to be added?114Views0likes0CommentsUpload file option is freezed while creating a new form.
Answer is in the settings, you need to change who can fill this form, if you have selected Anyone, the upload function will not work for security/malware issues. Also, if you select only people from my organization, then it will start working fine. BR Hitesh Ved 8390703219331Views0likes2CommentsFind Forms on Sharepoint
Hi I created a form in forms.office.com while I was learning. I have now moved this form to a sharepoint group. In the sharepoint document library, we can see the response excel, and the folders for the submitted attachments.. however we cannot see the actual form. How does a team member find the form so they can open it and edit it if needed? Thanks DanyS543Views1like1CommentCan I pre-populate a Microsoft Form choice area with SharePoint list data?
I have data in a SharePoint online list that I would like end-users to choose from. I would like to pull that data into a Microsoft Form, as "choice" options to select. If this is doable, how do I set something like this up?Solved21KViews0likes5CommentsAuto filling Microsoft Form from Excel
Hi all I am hoping to use Microsoft forms as an inspection sheet platform. What I want to do is to use power automate to prefill a Microsoft form with information from an Excel spreadsheet. The sheet will contain a register of businesses we inspect. Power automate will take information from that sheet (business name/address/contact person) and prefill the form with that information. The idea is that an officer in the field on a mobile device can open the register in SharePoint and create an inspection sheet with the business's details prefilled. Is this a possible use case?9KViews0likes3Comments
