Microsoft Forms - Branching question
Hi all, I have just joined these forums and this is my first post. Is it possible to do the following with Microsoft Forms and if so, how?:- Create a form in Microsoft Forms with 4 multiple choice questions. Each answer/option for each of these questions has a number of points allocated to it, for example, option1 has 10 points, option2 has 20 points and option3 has 30 points etc. (See below) Question:- "What is the size of the audience for your in-house training?- Select one answer: Option1:- 100 - (10 points) Option2:- 500 - (20 points) Option3:- 2000 - (30 points) Option4:- 10,000 - (40 points) The user does NOT see how many points are allocated per possible answer and all the other questions are like this. Once the user has selected their respective answers, they are required to click a SUBMIT button at the bottom of the screen. Depending on how many points they have accumulated, they will see a different feedback screen, for example, if they have just "scored" 40 points, they will see the FIRST information/feedback screen with some text, a link and a graphic (if possible). If they have scored 60 points, they will see the SECOND information/feedback screen. This also applies if you get 80 or 100 points and you get different feedback depending on how many points you have "scored" as this form has a branching methodology with the form itself linking to 4 different screens or HTML pages with this feedback. Now million dollar question as before... Is this possible? If so, how can I do this and do I have to use some other kind of technology like Power Automate etc in conjunction with Microsoft Forms. Weighted Answers in 2 Survey Pages adding up to a end value.
Hello there, new to MS Form and Power Automate so bear with me on this one: Part of an Ideas Survey, requires a user to complete a 'Survey Page' where there are 7 Questions with 4 possible choices. 1 Choice per Question, each Choice is weighted Option 1= 0 Option 2= 1 Option 3 = 2 Option 4 = 5 Once answered, should give a value of the sum of weighted answers... so 3 Question have option 3, 2 questions were answered option 2 and 2 were answered option 4. totaling 18 A second survey page very similar weighted options to the questions. What these values I would need to utilise to find a reference based on a Grid of Values. 1 to 35 along and 1 to 21 Up, the values in the survey would be used to gauge 18 cells along and , lets say 15 rows up. In that specific Cell would be a Reference. something like H15 a Formula would be something Like if Survey1 Value >15 then H, <=15 and >=10 then M, >=0 to <10 then L Then it would be to concat the value of the of that plus the Survey 2 Value. How, would I go about doing that? Just from messing about, it would have to be a triggered Power Automate to then add to a variable, then after that no idea. Anyone able to do this and to help with a step by step? Much appreciated. Mike.
"Allow respondents to edit their responses" does not fire flow trigger
New Option "Allow respondents to edit their responses" is added. https://www.microsoft.com/ja-jp/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=124819 But flow doesn't fire when answer is edited and submitted. This makes no sense...Also test the connector, plz.
Validating consent on MS Forms
I'm creating new forms which will capture children attending activities and needs to be approved by a parent. The old way was to have the parent sign and authorise participation. Can anyone in the community think of a way to do this with MS Forms which would meet legal requirements that a proper person has authorised the form instead of the child completing the form on behalf of the parent?
Find out in which language a form was submitted
Hello Community I've set up a Microsoft Forms in mutiple languages, so my user can choose the language in which he or she wishes to fill it out. After that, I want to automatically reach out to them with an email when they're done filling out the form. For that, I made a Microsoft Flow. Considering that my form is available in multiple languages is there a parameter that tells me in which language my user chose to fill out the form? So I can send them their mail in the correct language? Thanks in advance!Excel Does Not Sync Until Opened
I created a form linked to an Excel spreadsheet in SharePoint as well as a Power Automate approval flow triggered on submission. In addition to sending out confirmation/approval emails, the flow also updates the associated Excel spreadsheet with the approval/denial. The flow was working fine until last week but since then has failed 2 consecutive times. The failures appear to be related to the flow unable to find the automatically generated submission ID in the Excel spreadsheet. When I open the linked spreadsheet, the submission is not immediately present at first but the file does sync at that point and the entry appears. When re-triggered after the sync, the flow completes successfully. Not sure if it is related, but MS form/linked spreadsheets have been updated by Microsoft recently and I was prompted to go through an update process for synced Excel spreadsheets. I completed the update with this specific form last week after the flow failed for the first time. TLDR - my form only syncs with the spreadsheet once opened. Any ideas how to get MS Forms to update the spreadsheet in real-time as opposed to when it is opened?Query Forms API to get scores or results from form submission
Hello All, May be one for the Forms/Dev Community but thought I would try here. We have a process where 4 forms are submitted weekly (Every week has 4 new forms). We currently gather responses into a SPO list and feed that in PowerBI. A new requirement has come in that the forms (which are quizzes) also need to push the scores to SPO. We have done this with conditionals to check the text of the correct answers but the workload for this is unmanageable. I know there is a forms Api (undocumented) and we have successfully queried it to get the quiz questions, but these doesn't seem to be any info in there about the right answer. My question is, is it possible to query the forms API to get the response points, either total or per question? Included is the starting point, just need to know if anyone knows the URI to get what we need.
Assign an email adress on an option in MS Form
Hi. New here. I just started using MS Form and Workflow to automate requesting study for new projects. I made a form where you will type in project name, location, system to use, etc. Two of the options in this form are the names of the Salesman and the Draftsman that will do the project that the salesman will assign to. My problem is that upon completion of the form, workflow has the flow of: when a new respose is submitted -> Get response -> Create a task in planner -> Send an email. For the create task, I want the draftsman that will be picked in the form will be the one assigned in the planner including the salesman who filled up the form. Next is sending a custom email, with dynamic content highlighting the response on the form and sending that email to the draftsman that the salesman picked in the MS Form. Is it possible to have this kind of flow? If yes, please shed some light on how I can accomplish this. Thanks bunch.Can I send a survey to multiple people w different data pre-filled?
I am trying to get feedback from our hiring managers for our recruiters. Can I use the same Form for the survey, but update the job and recruiter before sending to a specific hiring manager. Is there a way to do this (maybe with Power Automate?) and have all results in the same Excel sheet?Upload file option is freezed while creating a new form.
Answer is in the settings, you need to change who can fill this form, if you have selected Anyone, the upload function will not work for security/malware issues. Also, if you select only people from my organization, then it will start working fine. BR Hitesh Ved 8390703219
