Creating a Form from a List
The Forms link at the top of a Microsoft List is awesome -- it lets me create a Form for the current list. I can use all of the great features of Forms to make the list be exactly what I want. What's really disappointing, though, is that there's no way (at least that I can find) to connect my beautiful form to the New button for the list. In the Forms section of the List settings, I can opt for the default form, a Power App form, or an Info Path form. It would be fantastic if I could choose the form that I just created -- FROM THE LIST -- to the list. It seems like an obvious and confusing disconnect. The very presence of a link to Forms suggests that this is the way to customize an intake form for the list. But alas, no. I assume I'm not the first person to fall into this pit! Is it on the roadmap?DougLoweApr 18, 2025Copper Contributor30Views0likes2CommentsIssue conectiong microsoft forms and power Automate
Hello, I've been trying to connect Microsoft Forms with Power Automate to create a simple flow that sends notifications when a form is completed. However, when I attempt to sign in and connect both apps, I receive the following error message: "Microsoft Services", de modo que no se puede acceder a la aplicación "7ab7862c-4c57-491e-8a45-d52a7e023983" de dicho inquilino. Para ello, en primer lugar es necesario agregar la cuenta como usuario externo en el inquilino. Use otra cuenta. I am currently using Microsoft 365 Family, and from what I understand, this plan includes access to both apps. I contacted support through the chat, and their suggestion was to ask here for assistance. Thank you in advance for your help!pka2Apr 15, 2025Copper Contributor20Views0likes0CommentsExport to Excel - wrong and shortened titles
Hi all, we want to get rid of other polling tools and recommend Forms for broader usage. We now had a "Likert" poll that caused the Excel export to be unusable. The questions were not in the same order as they were in the Form (deleted the Excel from Onedrive and let it recreate did not solve this) Also some titles were shortened like: Likert topic: Share your event feedback (e.g. how was the food, the beverages and so on) Food: Great, Ok, i was hungry But in the excel export the title of this row was: Share your event feedback (e.g. how was the food, the beverages and soFormsID4 So it was impossible to see what statement was answered to. What are the limitations here? BR StephanStephanGeeApr 08, 2025Steel Contributor32Views0likes1CommentSave MS Form with unique name
Hello I have a Form that the sales team use to collect information from discussions with customers. Sometimes we need to save the form and go back to it later to fill in more data. We know how to submit the form and save it for later use. The problem is that all the saved forms have the same name (the title of the form). is there a way we can save the form with a unique name each time, ideally the customer name, so we can easily find which form to go back to in the saved list? Thank youAlan_NewellApr 02, 2025Copper Contributor27Views0likes1CommentSave MS Form with unique name to reuse
Hello We are using MS form to capture discussions between our sales team and customers. My requirement is we need to be able to save the form with a unique name so we can go back to it and add more info later. We can save the form but the problem is all saved forms show in the list with the same name - ie the Title of the form. Is there a way I can save each the form with a unique name every time we create a new one (when we talk to a different customer). The form was created from a Sharepoint site ThanksSolvedAlan_NewellApr 02, 2025Copper Contributor52Views0likes2CommentsPrevent hyperlinks

Hi, I'm having some issues with users who are having issues seeing data that they have entered into a Form. They are not signing in as anonymous and I've been advised that a draft is saved up to 30 days from the last edit. So if they are signing in with the same credentials and using the same link to the Form, should they be able to see information they have previously entered and update this prior to Submitting?? Any assistance would be gratefully received ChrisChris_Clark1968Mar 17, 2025Brass Contributor50Views0likes1CommentMicrosoft Forms - Branching question
Hi all, I have just joined these forums and this is my first post. Is it possible to do the following with Microsoft Forms and if so, how?:- Create a form in Microsoft Forms with 4 multiple choice questions. Each answer/option for each of these questions has a number of points allocated to it, for example, option1 has 10 points, option2 has 20 points and option3 has 30 points etc. (See below) Question:- "What is the size of the audience for your in-house training?- Select one answer: Option1:- 100 - (10 points) Option2:- 500 - (20 points) Option3:- 2000 - (30 points) Option4:- 10,000 - (40 points) The user does NOT see how many points are allocated per possible answer and all the other questions are like this. Once the user has selected their respective answers, they are required to click a SUBMIT button at the bottom of the screen. Depending on how many points they have accumulated, they will see a different feedback screen, for example, if they have just "scored" 40 points, they will see the FIRST information/feedback screen with some text, a link and a graphic (if possible). If they have scored 60 points, they will see the SECOND information/feedback screen. This also applies if you get 80 or 100 points and you get different feedback depending on how many points you have "scored" as this form has a branching methodology with the form itself linking to 4 different screens or HTML pages with this feedback. Now million dollar question as before... Is this possible? If so, how can I do this and do I have to use some other kind of technology like Power Automate etc in conjunction with Microsoft Forms. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance. KeithKeith_TMar 13, 2025Copper Contributor229Views0likes1Comment
