Mircosoft forms email
Hi - I have set up an internal reporting system using microsoft forms - all works well - have built power automate to direct reports to the right teams. The only thing I can't figure out is why each report comes with my email rather than the email of the reporter? I know the answer must be simple as it is forms - but I can't work it out. Any ideas? Thanks NoyNoymanNov 28, 2025Copper Contributor25Views0likes2CommentsCustom Validation in Forms
Hi, I have a text field in forms, and I was wondering if I could do some kind of custom validation or multiple validations (i.e. 1 AND (2 OR 3)) on that text field. I feel like I have seen custom validation functionality (e.g. RegEx) before but this is not available in my version of Microsoft forms. Suppose it is only available in another version of Forms (i.e. Pro), is it possible to request for this functionality to exist in the normal version? The reason why I cannot use power automate or what not to post validate is because I do not collect E-mails (Not because I don't want to, but because my users simply don't have one or do not maintain one).SPACETRAVELNov 25, 2025Copper Contributor36Views0likes1CommentLock down Form creation for staff
Hi, I want some staff being able to create forms/surveys etc. https://forms.microsoft.com/ I want to ensure that the rest of the staff can consume the forms ,i.e. fill in, but not create new or "Collaborate or Duplicate". What is the best way for me to do this? Thank you for your time, OllieSolved95Views0likes1CommentMS Forms branching option is not visible to individual answers in multiselect question
HELLO, I am working on a form. Question type is choice where user can select "Multiple Answers" and based on selected answer, subsequent question should be visible. To achieve this, i want to add branching to main question but i do not see the option to do so. How to achieve this ? NO branching option :ApoorvaTipre21Oct 28, 2025Copper Contributor92Views1like1CommentResubmitted response overrides original response instead of making a new entry
Hi, I have a Microsoft Form that allows respondents to edit their submissions after submitting. Last week when someone resubmitted their response, it created a new entry in the Excel sheet which is what I prefer since it triggered a Power Automate flow. However, I ran it again this week and now it seems to override the original response in the Excel sheet. This does not trigger the flow, which is a big issue. Does anyone know why this might be happening/how to fix it? Thanks in advance!BellsBOct 20, 2025Copper Contributor131Views0likes3CommentsAllow hidden fields
Hi DingkunXie Can the product team do the following: Create an option to make a field hidden or read-only Allow URL parameters to populate the hidden or read-only field Currently we can use a workaround to hide a field using branching logic, but the hidden field can't be prepopulated with the URL parameter :( This small change will unlock a huge amount of value in the product! Especially in the age of automation and Copilot. Looking forward to seeing this happen :)MattBurrOct 10, 2025Iron Contributor132Views1like2CommentsIssues using Quick Import to create a multiple choice quiz
Hi, I'm having issues using the Quick Import option in Forms to create a multiple-choice quiz. It doesn't seem to matter how I format my Word document; when I use the quick import option, it dumps all the questions/ answers into one section. This is the Word doc format I am using. Any suggestions where I am going wrong?EwenGlenSep 17, 2025Copper Contributor99Views0likes2Comments
