how to create and save a note in the sub-folder to “Notes” folder from outlook.com account
There is a folder "Notes" in outlook.com account. If we save any note from the browser while on outlook.com account, the note is saved in the folder "Notes" on the outlook.com account. This "Notes" folder is visible on the web when you login to the outlook.com account. However if we create a sub-folder to the "Notes" folder of an outlook.com account on a web browser, I am unable to create a note in that sub-folder while on the web browser. This sub-folder is also invisible to any apps connecting to the outlook.com and using services of mail, contacts, notes, etc. The only Microsoft support document available on this subject, does not mention anything about sub-folder to "Notes" folder. Link given below. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/create-edit-and-view-sticky-notes-in-outlook-com-or-outlook-on-the-web-d9ee4b90-96cf-4d56-b622-ceed8e4f6b10 My question is: how to create and save a note in the sub-folder to “Notes” folder from outlook.com account.127Views0likes0CommentsOneDrive Photos on iPad does not detect or upload iPad Screen recordings

When an IMAP mail account of third party mail providers is configured on the Microsoft Outlook app for iOS or Android, does the Outlook app also make the mail account password and content accessible to Microsoft Servers for Push Notifications or otherwise. If yes, it makes the security of mail account suspect particularly in case of corporate mail accounts which have strict policies of not sharing or connecting their mail server credentials as well as mail content to or through any third party which may include Microsoft. Or is it that the Microsoft Outlook App connects directly with the mail servers and other Microsoft Servers are not in the picture.256Views0likes0CommentsOneDrive app for iOS 15.5.2 released recently has bug.

Microsoft 365 app APNS registration Bug: Not possible to enable Push Notifications later if it is not enabled during initial installation and login to account on the app, without deleting and re-installing/ re-login into the app. Push notifications dont get activated even after opening the Microsoft 365, which does not show prompt for allowing push notifications as it did upon first install of the app. This shows Microsoft 365 app for iOS is not registering with APNS during subsequent restarts/ re-login into the account. The status shown in Microsoft 365 app > Settings > Push Notifications > “Off”. There is no option to change it from “Off” to “On”. The Microsoft 365 app too doesn’t show up at all in app list in iOS settings > Notifications, till the app is uninstalled and reinstalled. It is a failure of Microsoft 365 app for iOS to register properly to APNS upon subsequent restarts, if Push notifications are not enabled during first installation and login to the account. This issue is resolved if Microsoft 365 app for iOS is subsequently uninstalled and re-installed. These apps register correctly with APNS when the app is installed afresh and login to the account. Hence it is a bug in Microsoft 365, which is to be resolved by Microsoft. The problem occurs primarily with Microsoft 365 app for iOS. Other apps like Microsoft OneDrive for iOS, YouTube and Facebook on iOS don’t face this problem. They are able to register with APNS whenever they are launched subsequent even if the notifications are not activated initially. Expected behaviour: The Microsoft 365 app for iOS should initiate the prompt asking enabling of push notifications, upon restart of the app, if the notifications were not enabled earlier, or alternatively the ppp should have an option to activate notifications without having to uninstall / reinstall the app and re-login to the account.484Views0likes0CommentsNot possible to enable Push Notifications later if it is not enabled during initial installation

Microsoft Office app for iOS not saving any file on OneDrive folder through Files app - save button of Office App disabled in Files app. I am on latest app version and latest iOS version. Expected behaviour: it should be possible to save any file opened in Microsoft Office App for iOS to any file service provider showing in Files App. The Move or Save button should get enabled in Microsoft Office App for iOS prompts when trying to save its file using Files app in any folder of OneDrive folder or any other cloud service provider or the local device folder listed in Files app of iOS device. The save functionality from Microsoft Office app should be able to save files in any file storage accessible on iOS device- like iCloud, OneDrive, local file storage, Google Drive. Observed behaviour : The save buttons in Microsoft Office app for iOS do not get enabled when trying to save using Files app of iOS device. The Save or Move buttons of Microsoft Office app remain grayed out / disabled whenever any file storage folder location is opened through Files app of iOS. This includes folder location of any OneDrive account folder opened through Files app. However if the same OneDrive folder is opened directly instead of through Files app, the save button of Office app is enabled. This observed behaviour of Save / Move button of Microsoft Office App for iOS getting disabled when any folder is opened through Files app, is erratic and not expected. This may be rectified.1.1KViews0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Office App for iPadOS does not display controls while opening a second excel file.
Microsoft Office App for iPadOS does not display controls while opening a second excel file. Expected behaviour of Microsoft Office App for iPadOS: Whenever any excel file is opened in Microsoft Office App for iPadOS, it should display controls at the top at all times, irrespective of whether the excel file was opened after force closing the Office App or otherwise. Observed behaviour of Microsoft Office App for iPadOS: If after force closing Microsoft Office App for iPadOS from the app switcher, any excel file is opened in Microsoft Office App for iPadOS it opens correctly with the Office App controls visible at the top of app window- controls like Home button, Insert, Draw buttons, File Menu etc. However if subsequently immediately after, another Excel file is clicked in File App of iPadOS to open it in Office App (without first force closing the Office App), the app opens the excel file but without showing the Controls at the top of app window. This bug may be rectified. This is a bug in Microsoft Office App for iPadOS and is not expected and may be rectified by Microsoft. Screenshot of the expected behaviour and observed behaviour are attached.667Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Office apps for iOS does not correctly save the new documents through Files app of iOS
Microsoft Office apps for iOS does not correctly save the new documents through Files app of iOS and iPadOS to online storage like OneDrive. When a new document created in Microsoft Office for iOS is saved using the Files app for iOS and iPadOS to online storage accounts like in OneDrive account, the document file does not get saved correctly. On the same device where it was created, the saved document shows zero KB size, while on any other device connected to the same OneDrive account, the saved document does not even gets listed. However, if the newly created document file is saved without using the files app by using the OneDrive account directly from the options in Microsoft office app for iOS, the document file gets saved properly and is also displayed on all the connected devices. This erratic behaviour occurs on all iOS and iPadOS devices and using different OneDrive accounts. Thus the problem is not due to the device particular but is a bug in Microsoft Office for iOS which prevents it to connect to iOS Files App correctly. This same erratic behaviour also occurs with individual apps viz. Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel etc for iOS and iPadOS.. This is a bug in Microsoft Office apps. Kindly rectify the bug.2KViews0likes2Comments
