Personal Bookings Page
Hi, I'm new to bookings and set up my schedule. I shared with a client and they booked an appointment. However, they selected a time that was already marked as busy on my calendar. How do I make sure my personal bookings page is reviewing my calendar? Thanks for any help.2Views0likes0CommentsGuest Email Field Missing from Service booking Page
Hi, I used to include the Guest(s) email field in my Bookings service so that clients could invite additional participants. The option is still visible when setting up or editing the service, but recently it no longer appears on the Bookings Service page itself. Has anyone else experienced this issue, or does anyone know how to restore the Guest email field? Any guidance or solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!21Views0likes0CommentsDay by Staff View - Stuck in 6 day View
Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help please? We have one main booking page with 5 different services listed within it with their own emails addressed linked to Outlook calendars. In the past few weeks, the main booking calendar has only allowed us to view 6 days at a time, which is almost impossible to view when there are 5 services listed. We have also used 'day by staff' view and been able to scan through one day at a time to easily see what appointment are available and where each day. I have tried all of the advice i can find only, cleared cache, flicked between the different views, checked the booking availability - nothing seems to fix it. Is anyone else having this issue, and can anyone help? Thank you10Views0likes0Comments"Request Response" not working on Bookings calendar events
I use Microsoft Bookings. When people use my bookings page and book an appointment with me, the appointment invitation is correctly emailed to the person booking the appointment and the appointment shows up on my correct Outlook calendar. The issue I am having is that the calendar event settings do not, by default, enable the "Request responses" option and so when I view the event from my Outlook calendar, I don't see if the attendees have accepted or declined the invitation. When I schedule a calendar event without the use of the Bookings feature, the "Request responses" option is enabled by default. Is there a way to change the Bookings default settings so that "Request responses" is enabled by default so if the attendee accepts the invitation I will be able to see this when I view the event in my Outlook calendar? Is this a known "bug" in Microsoft Bookings that other users have reported to Microsoft or voiced as a concern in online forums? Has Microsoft replied to any of these concerns to other Bookings, Outlook, or Microsoft 365 users?18Views0likes1Comment"Some error occurred" message when trying to open booking's link
Hi all, I have been getting this "Some error occurred" message when trying to open our booking page link for our testing center. I noticed there was some issues back in 2024 with this message, but wasn't able to find any sort of fix to it, other than Microsoft fixing it back then. Not sure if anyone here has some suggestions or ideas as to why we are getting this message to appear. Only thing that comes to mind, is some of our Power Automate workflows that is in our Microsoft bookings page is not connected anymore. But I assumed that the page to create a booking would not be affected by power automate, but if it does, please let me know! Thanks for any help with this!25Views0likes1CommentBookings calendar not displaying availability
We have a personal bookings page set up with 4 meeting types, two public and two private. None are displaying any availability, except ONE of the private ones, despite checking custom settings and ensuring there are no availability clashes or all-day events in the calendar. The one private booking type that is showing appropriate availability has both custom hours and a date-bound limit (only booking until November 6). So the broken ones look like the Devised Theatre appointments above. And the only one that is working is the ANTH 100 below: Both of the above screenshots are pulling from the same calendar and availability. We were able to get the Devised Theatre one to display some availability by setting it to a custom limited date range and custom hours, then reverting it back to standard availability and no date range which seemed to preserve the availability the system found when limited, but provides no availability beyond those previously set custom hours despite having no more set limitations. Do we have to fiddle with custom availability to "unlock" standard availability? Or is there an actual fix that would resolve this issue?106Views0likes1CommentHow to disable a BookWithMe link for a departed user?
Hi folks, a user has left the company but people are still booking meetings with them using the old link. All the instructions I find for how to solve this are about deleting a shared booking link, this is a personal booking link. I am a Global Admin, I have granted my personal account full access to the mailbox, and when I open their calendar in OWA I see the "go to my booking page" option, but visiting that takes me to my account's booking page, with no option to open booking as the departed user. How can I, as an Administrator, control the BookingsWithMe page of a departed user?Solved71Views0likes2CommentsOutlook Calendar No Longer Syncing with MS Bookings for One Staff Member
Hi everyone, One of our MS Bookings users (listed as staff on a shared calendar) has the “Events on Office calendar affect availability” option turned on, which allows her Outlook calendar to sync with MS Bookings. This was working fine before, but we recently noticed that it stopped syncing — her Outlook calendar events are no longer reflected on the MS Bookings side, even though the option remains enabled. All other staff members on the same shared calendar with that setting turned on are syncing normally. Has anyone experienced this before? What could be causing this, and how can we troubleshoot it? Thanks in advance for any help!80Views0likes1CommentBookings service not accessing Outlook Calendar Entries and double booking
Hi there - in the last week or so my bookings page has not registered busy periods from my Outlook calendar and therefore double-booked times for people using my bookings service. Does anyone know if something has changed in the last week or so to cause this and also how you can fix this issue as it renders microsoft bookings useless for me currently?Solved62Views0likes1CommentCalendar not showing correct times for one day
I created a calendar that my company will use for our booth at an upcoming conference. The first day of the show, the booth is only open from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., but not matter what I do, the time displayed when you select a service on that first day is from 8 a.m. - 6 a.m. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? It makes absolutely know sense.34Views0likes1CommentRestrict Service to a specific user
Hello! I am wondering if it's possible to restrict days a service is available for specific staff members? I have a Service that is available Monday-Friday....but some members of staff only work parttime for this service and are therefore cannot be shown as available for that service only on certain days. This would be fine if they only needed to be available for that service as we would then just edit their availability on the calendar at staff level. HOWEVER, the issue comes as these staff members do work on the other days but for different services and therefore they do need to be available for the full days - but they can't be available for that service on specific days. i.e. Joe Bloggs works Monday and Tuesday and available only for Service #1. Joe Bloggs works Wednesday-Friday and available only for Service #2. Jane Doe works Monday-Friday and available for Service #1. Both Service #1 and #2 are open to book by the same end user and therefore, ideally, need to be part of the same Booking system. Is there a way to restrict a service to specific days but only for specific staff members?Solved37Views0likes1CommentAssign different service patterns to Staff in Bookings
Hello! I wonder if someone can help me work out if this is possible or not! We have a Bookings system that say we have Service 1 that can be booked from Monday through to Friday by anyone with various members of staff. However, I have a member of staff who only works for this service, parttime and therefore is not available for Service 1 on say a Monday and Tuesday. BUT they do still work with different services on those days, so I cannot restrict their working days via the Edit Staff option as they should still be available for other services. Is there a way I can restrict Service 1 for that member of staff only? So that it is only available for them on a Wed-Fri? I do not want to have to create separate Services for members of staff if it can be helped. But I also cannot see a way to select when services can be made available for specific members of staff. TIA!Solved54Views0likes1CommentMain bookings calendar not showing busy blocks from outlook
When we first started using bookings earlier in the year, if you had an appointment in outlook it would show a block for the staff being busy. This is necessary so when manually adding appointments we don't double book a staff member. Now however, those blocks are not showing. Outlook does appear to be pushing the info to bookings, but they only show if you go into the "Calendar and Availability" section of the staff details screen (multiple clicks outside of the main calendar). Going there every single time to book a staff member is not practical. Does anyone know how to get the main calendar to show when staff are busy again?79Views0likes1CommentCustomer's Calendar Invite does not Update.
When I manually remove customers from a service so that I can reschedule them on my end as an administrator, it sends them a cancellation email, but does not remove the calendar invite for them. Has this issue occurred with anyone, and is there a known solution for it? Would I have to ask customers to go in and cancel their appointment their own to remove the calendar invite as opposed to removing them?30Views0likes1CommentMicrosoft Bookings not showing available times
I have used Bookings for years, and suddenly my availability is not showing up on my bookings link for students to select. I tried clearing and entering my business hours again, and that didn't make a difference. What do I need to do to fix this? I rely on this for students to make appointments with me and it is really challenging going back and forth on email making appointments.41Views0likes2CommentsCan I update existing meeting via API so "Record automaticaly" is on?
Hi Currently we using MS Booking so our students register for the exam. We plan to make is "self serve" so time of the instructor is not required. A meeting got the option "Record and transcribe automatically". I would like to turn it on via API. Is that possible? I checked https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/bookingappointment-update?view=graph-rest-1.0 and https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/bookingbusiness-post-appointments?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http to see if there is any property for "recording" but did not find anything.Solved50Views0likes1CommentHelp with intermittent staff availability in Microsoft Booking
Hi everyone, I manage a team of volunteers who provide counseling across ~12 sites. Most of our sites have one counselor, but one site (phone counseling) has 10 counselors with varying availability. Our challenge is that Microsoft Bookings only seems to allow recurring staff availability on a weekly pattern (e.g., every Tuesday 9am–2pm). Many of our counselors work on patterns like “2nd and 4th Tuesday” or “1st and 3rd Tuesday.” Currently, our workaround is to enter recurring weekly availability and then block off the “off” weeks in Outlook calendars. This works, but it gets messy when a counselor wants to make a one-time schedule change (e.g., start an hour later on a specific date or add a non-typical counseling date). We have to manually cross-check other counselors’ availability to avoid conflicts and make sure incorrect appointments do not populate, which is error-prone and stressful. My questions: Is there a way in Bookings to set staff availability on intermittent patterns (e.g., 2nd/4th Tuesday) without relying on Outlook blocks? Is there any way to make one-time availability exceptions for a specific date and staff member? Has anyone else managed multiple staff on a rotating schedule and found a clean workflow? Any guidance, workarounds, or confirmation that this is a current limitation would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!28Views0likes1CommentCannot add new employees at all in my bookings
i tried gmail personal email, outlook professional email, google professional email, everytime I fill the new employee form and submit it, it does nothing! some employees are external and don't have an email from our organization! it has always worked before!36Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Bookings app not working
I've set the Bookings for my office hours a few weeks ago, and it worked fine. I have even tested with my personal account and I was able to 'book myself' a slot. But it just suddenly stopped working the other day. I asked my colleagues to set up office hours as I did and theirs worked fine. Anyone knows what might have gone wrong? As you can see, I've set it open to public for a recurring meeting on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting from Oct. But nothing shows up, when I entered the site and tried to book an appointment. My colleagues also tried on their ends to book an appointment with me, but it still didn't work.106Views0likes2CommentsCustom fields in book screen
I'd like to add a field to the book screen that requires the user to add a subject to their request. At the moment, calendar entries only show, for example, "60-minute discussion with ...", so it's difficult to know in advance what sort of conversation you're getting into. Copilot tells me there's an "add a custom field" option, but I can't find it. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks.86Views0likes4Comments
