Guest Email Field Missing from Service booking Page
Hi, I used to include the Guest(s) email field in my Bookings service so that clients could invite additional participants. The option is still visible when setting up or editing the service, but recently it no longer appears on the Bookings Service page itself. Has anyone else experienced this issue, or does anyone know how to restore the Guest email field? Any guidance or solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!Solved35Views0likes2CommentsHow to disable a BookWithMe link for a departed user?
Hi folks, a user has left the company but people are still booking meetings with them using the old link. All the instructions I find for how to solve this are about deleting a shared booking link, this is a personal booking link. I am a Global Admin, I have granted my personal account full access to the mailbox, and when I open their calendar in OWA I see the "go to my booking page" option, but visiting that takes me to my account's booking page, with no option to open booking as the departed user. How can I, as an Administrator, control the BookingsWithMe page of a departed user?Solved72Views0likes2CommentsBookings service not accessing Outlook Calendar Entries and double booking
Hi there - in the last week or so my bookings page has not registered busy periods from my Outlook calendar and therefore double-booked times for people using my bookings service. Does anyone know if something has changed in the last week or so to cause this and also how you can fix this issue as it renders microsoft bookings useless for me currently?Solved66Views0likes1CommentRestrict Service to a specific user
Hello! I am wondering if it's possible to restrict days a service is available for specific staff members? I have a Service that is available Monday-Friday....but some members of staff only work parttime for this service and are therefore cannot be shown as available for that service only on certain days. This would be fine if they only needed to be available for that service as we would then just edit their availability on the calendar at staff level. HOWEVER, the issue comes as these staff members do work on the other days but for different services and therefore they do need to be available for the full days - but they can't be available for that service on specific days. i.e. Joe Bloggs works Monday and Tuesday and available only for Service #1. Joe Bloggs works Wednesday-Friday and available only for Service #2. Jane Doe works Monday-Friday and available for Service #1. Both Service #1 and #2 are open to book by the same end user and therefore, ideally, need to be part of the same Booking system. Is there a way to restrict a service to specific days but only for specific staff members?Solved37Views0likes1CommentAssign different service patterns to Staff in Bookings
Hello! I wonder if someone can help me work out if this is possible or not! We have a Bookings system that say we have Service 1 that can be booked from Monday through to Friday by anyone with various members of staff. However, I have a member of staff who only works for this service, parttime and therefore is not available for Service 1 on say a Monday and Tuesday. BUT they do still work with different services on those days, so I cannot restrict their working days via the Edit Staff option as they should still be available for other services. Is there a way I can restrict Service 1 for that member of staff only? So that it is only available for them on a Wed-Fri? I do not want to have to create separate Services for members of staff if it can be helped. But I also cannot see a way to select when services can be made available for specific members of staff. TIA!Solved55Views0likes1CommentCan I update existing meeting via API so "Record automaticaly" is on?
Hi Currently we using MS Booking so our students register for the exam. We plan to make is "self serve" so time of the instructor is not required. A meeting got the option "Record and transcribe automatically". I would like to turn it on via API. Is that possible? I checked https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/bookingappointment-update?view=graph-rest-1.0 and https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/bookingbusiness-post-appointments?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http to see if there is any property for "recording" but did not find anything.Solved50Views0likes1CommentShowing available dates as unavailable
Hi We have a booking page with 4 services that people can book. Out of the blue, two of the services have become unavailable at strange times and dates, even though nothing has been booked in their calendars, nor have any days off or other events that should prevent availability been scheduled. I have checked the available working hours for all the services, and nothing should prevent them from being available.Solved182Views1like3CommentsRoom resource is not auto accepting emails sent from bookings.
I have been asked to create a new room resource for a Bookings shared space. This Bookings space has other room resources that are working fine. The expected behavior is that Users will book with these room resources that are added as Staff within the Bookings space. Bookings will send an email invite to the room resource, and it will automatically accept. This will add the invite to the Bookings calendar for the staff and also add the meeting invite to the Room Resource. I have created a new room resource and added as a Staff / Team Member role in the Bookings space. When booking with that new room resource the invite is no automatically being accepted as it is for others. In the image above you can see the invite appears on my calendar but not on the room resources calendar. This is critical as this room resource calendar is tied to a touch panel screen for booking that room. In the image above you can see the meeting appears on the bookings calendar. Taking a look at the mailboxes deleted items I can see the meeting invite makes it to the inbox, but the meeting is not accepted. Auto accept invites are turned on The deleted items of room resource setup exactly the same to my knowledge show the invites getting accepted Can I get some guidance on getting Bookings to correctly send meeting invites to my room resource so they can be accepted?Solved258Views0likes1CommentHow do Team Members set their availability
When creating a Shared Bookings Page, how do I have team members set their own availability? With the amount of team member I need, it isn't possible to have a person set to update availability, since our staff's availability changes weekly. On Microsoft's https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/bookings/staff-roles?view=o365-worldwide#staff-roles it states that Team Members "Can manage bookings on their own calendar and their availability in the booking mailbox." Hi, I am trying to enable adding more than one attendee tog an event bookin in bookings. The service allows up to 4 attendees, but on the booking page, I can't add more people to receive the invite. How can I solve this? Sometimes, the booking is for an online meeting, and more people need to be added at the point of the reservation. We've had several customers call us to say they are unable to make a booking. The common claim is that, when they click 'Book' after filling in their details (using the booking page), the page just reloads. No error messages are showing, and no booking is processed. Some customers have told us they thought they had booked, which is causing unhappy customers/missed appointments. Often, we are unable to replicate the issue so it is unclear what is causing this - though some Booking staff have reported similar issues across different calendars and services. All services are 1:n booking slots (classroom style bookings). I am not sure whether it is possible that appointments are 'locked' whilst other customers are attempting to book into the same appointment? Or whether there may be any issues with particular browsers (anecdotally, customers unable to book appear to often be using an iPhone)? Has anyone else had similar issues, and/or ideas as to what may be behind this? We are a little concerned about platform stability/availability as things stand.Solved1.1KViews1like11CommentsNone of the staff, services, or other changes we made are displaying on the Shared Booking page.
The Shared Booking "Admininstrator" shows black and it looks like it is loading for about a minute to load and then disappears. I've tried accessing it using different browsers, in incognito mode, and through Teams and the web app. When I access the shared booking configuration, it doesn’t display all staff or services and the link is missing. I have already submitted a support ticket with Microsoft, but they are still working on identifying the issue. I need help troubleshooting this problem. Looking forward to see some suggestions.Solved681Views0likes6CommentsBooking Pages Do Not Work
Booking pages that I created this month aren't showing when I click on the link and receive this error message: We aren't offering services through the booking page right now. Hello. When I try adding a specific internal user to my booking page as an administrator, it soon changes to a guest! They have OWA enabled and business premium license assigned. I have set up a Bookings page with a colleague of mine, in order to allow booking an appointment when both of us are available. To do this, I've created a service assigning both of us to the appointment, so that availabilities are checked for both of us. The problem is that availabilities are correctly checked for him, but not for me. - If I check the setting of staff members, we have the same options - and yes, the "Office events affect availability" option is checked. - In Outlook Calendar, the calendar's setting allows other people in the organization to see when I'm busy. - In Bookings -> Staff, if I click on myself and check my "Calendar and availabilities", all events are shown correctly. - The same problem shows up if I create a new service where I'm the only staff member. - The weird thing is that the same problem does not happen on the personal booking page; there, availabilities are modified correctly based on the events in my calendar. I think I tried everything... I don't know if I should just give up 😞Solved963Views0likes1CommentHow to use Bookings to allow external users to pick a webinar to attend
I'm working on moving a company from Zoom to MS Teams. One feature of Zoom they use is the ability to provide external uses the ability to pick from a list of scheduled webinars to join. See attached for an example of what I need to replicate. I tried creating a shared Booking page to do this, but can't quite get what I want. Is that possible with Bookings and if so, could you please help me by listing the steps? Thank you in advance!Solved4KViews0likes2CommentsHELP: Bookings app not working in new Microsoft Outlook
The Bookings app is no longer working for all users in my organization in the new Microsoft Outlook. Bookings in the web still works as expected. Has anyone experienced this issue and any suggestions on how to resolve it?Solved2.8KViews1like6CommentsReassigned booking does not move to new assignee's Outlook calendar
After reassigning a booking to a new staff member, the booking remains in the original staff member's Outlook calendar and does not display in the new staff member's Outlook calendar. Expected behavior - after a booking is reassigned it will stop displaying in the original staff member's Outlook calendar and display in the reassigned staff member's Outlook calendar. This is what we are experiencing: 1) Visitor books an appointment with staff member A 2) Visitor and staff member A both receive email notification about new appointment - appointment is displayed in staff member A's Outlook calendar 3) Bookings admin reassigns appointment to staff member B4) Visitor, staff member A and staff member B all receive email notification that accurately indicates staff member b as the new staff assigned staff member - appointment is still displayed in staff member A's Outlook calendar but not staff member B's Everything works correctly except the appointment is never moved from the original staff member's Outlook (staff member A) to the reassigned staff member's (staff member B). We checked many hours later and then over 24 hours later to make sure it wasn't just a delay, but the appointment still displayed in the staff A's Outlook calendar, and not Staff B's. We checked both desktop Outlook and Outlook online and it was the same issue. We tested with several appointments and this behavior was consistent. The calendar in Microsoft Bookings correctly displays the reassigned appointments.Solved1.7KViews2likes5CommentsCan’t save changes
Whenever I click “Save Changes” after creating/modifying a service, nothing happens. The window stays the same. Literally nothing happens. It appears as if the button is unresponsive. You can click it 20 times in a row…..nothing. It seems like Bookings is getting more and more clunky and unusable. For a software giant like MS, this is incredibly mediocre and inferior.Solved1.3KViews3likes4Comments
