MS Bookings doesn't save after editing a Service
We use Bookings a lot and I have to change our Services quite often. We are having an issue were when we make modifications to our one of our Service (availability options, etc) we can't save after entering our modification in the Edit Service window. We click on Save Changes an NOTHING happens. No error message, just nothing. When it works, you click on Save Changes the windows closes and the modifications are made to the Service, but 95% of the time we click on Save Changes and the Edit Service window stays open and the modifications are not saved. We tried using different browsers, account (all with admin) and we can't fix it. It becomes really hard to make modifications. How can we fix that issue? Thx.cprudhomJul 18, 2025Copper Contributor4.5KViews2likes20CommentsBookings - include cancel button in notification emails
Is there a way to put an option to either automatically include the cancel button or omit it in the notification emails? Instead of adding it as an additional information because I also don't know where I can get a dynamic cancellation link that can be used to cancel any of the appointments booked. This is a pretty basic feature just like the reschedule button. The problem if there is no cancellation button in the notifications is that there is no way for the client to cancel the appointment unless he/she saved the cancellation link found in the booking confirmation page after he/she had booked the appointment via the page. Only the admin has the ability to cancel the appointment manually via the bookings calendar.51Views2likes1CommentStrange issues with Bookings page
Hi all, A few months ago I set up two bookings pages (eg Booking1 and Booking2) for a client. Each booking page has two services - Meeting in Person and Online Meeting. Lately we have been facing some strange issues. 1. Suddenly the two booking pages have the same name. Nobody has changed the page name, yet Booking1 changed to Booking2. 2. Recently the client changed the availability days from 8/1/2025 to 31/8/2025 to Not Available for booking. I checked and it was working fine, but today the availability days chenged to 7/16/2025 -7/21/2025 Not Available for Bookings. How is that possible? I have also noticed the whole booking system will sometimes throw errors and not work, but it fixes on refresh. What are all these issues? Is it a user's bad or is it the system? Thank you in advance.DimitraJul 16, 2025Copper Contributor12Views0likes0CommentsAbility for the booking page to have pre-populated fields
Whenever a person visits the service page could we pre-populate the fields using URL parameters as this would make sharing the link a lot easier as the fields would all be pre-populated. This could even extend to custom fields e.g. https://outlook.office.com/book/email address removed for privacy reasons/s/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx becomes https://outlook.office.com/book/email address removed for privacy reasons/s/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?email=email address removed for privacy reasons&name=Mr%20Joe%20Bloggs&custom.Helpdesk_Ticket_Number=SR-1234567 You can provide a share link with all the available fields to populate and any custom fields from where you copy the link to a service/booking page. Of course the end user could change but they could submit anything anyway... but it just takes that manual element away. It means that 3rd party systems just need to construct the custom parameters in the URL and it should make sending invitations out a lot easier.darrenbwilliamsJul 15, 2025Copper Contributor92Views1like1CommentBookings Specific Dates
Hello - is it possible to setup bookings for a specific date range? We're trying to setup services for Aug 1 - 10, 2022 ONLY. Right now the work around is to log in each day and edit the schedule policy to reduce the maximum lead time by one day (so services always end on the 10th). Is there a setting to set schedule for specific dates?J-RZLJul 11, 2025Copper Contributor27KViews0likes6CommentsBooking a service by internal staff doesn't show service availability options or enforce them
Hi, I have set up a service with two members of staff. I have set the service availability to be Friday from 9-5. the two members added to the service have some times marked as busy in their personal calendars. When I click on the Service Booking Page link, the options available to book are correct. They are only available on Friday as per the Service Available hours and also only on the times when the team mebrs are free - good. When I click the "Book Appointment" button (either as an administrator user or a scheduler user), the rules aren't enforced. I can choose to book a service outside of the service availability times and I can also book when a user's calendar shows them as busy. The "Book Appointment" option does show when staff are busy from their calendars, but it doesn't enforce this - and it doesn't indicate to the user when the service availability is. The screen shot below shows a thursday (when the service isn't available) , which the "Create Booking" button will allow a scheduler to book. I know that I can use the Service Booking Page by an internal user to have the rules applied, but then I need to have it published, and it means that the customer can then manage their booking which I don't want to enable. Is there a way around this, so that the restrictions that are system enfored in the Service Booking Page can be better enforeced, or made visibile to users that are making bookings for customers and that still doesn't allow customers from managing their own bookings, once the booking is made? I need to be able to share a single use link for a specific service from a shared booking page. I seem to be able to do that from a personal booking page, but not from a shared booking page. It's important that the link isn't able to be just shared at scale because people need to have met eligibility to make an appointment. Is there a work around for this? Alternatively, is there a way of having a seperate person (e.g. admin) have access to my personal booking page to make or change appointments for me on my behalf, without having my outlook log in details?KLockJul 10, 2025Copper Contributor118Views1like2CommentsE-Mail of person who booked an appointment not visible in Outlook
Hey everyone, my team has been struggling lately, because they cannot see the e-mail-address of customers, who booked an appointment via MS bookings, in their outlook calendar. They have to open MS bookings everytime in order to see who takes part in the appointment. Furthermore, our CRM-integration can't sync the appointments without the e-mail-address. I couldn't find anything in the settings, do you know any solution for this? Basically what I'm trying to accomplish is to block requests sent by emails with generic domains such as gmail.com or yahoo.com while still allowing business emails such as @your-company.com. Is there a way to do that?kaanunverJul 09, 2025Copper Contributor25Views0likes0Comments
