Overlap services
I have a bookings where one "staff member" is assigned to all the services. This is an account that many people have access to. Currently we have one service in our bookings that allow folks to set up time with the staff to schedule time (30 minutes) to pickup their cell phone. We would like to add another service for folks to check out a hotspot. Hotspots can be scheduled for 1, 2 or 3 days. If we have a cell phone pickup on a Monday a 9:00 am, will that prohibit anyone for scheduling a hotspot that includes that day because the "staff member" is busy? These two services are able to occur at the same time -- meaning, I can have a cell phone pickup happen at the same time as a checkout for the hotspot. I cannot, however have a hot spot checked out that overlaps -- say one booking for a Monday (one day) and other for a three day that begins on the same Monday. I am guessing Bookings will not accommodate this, but I am hoping others have overcome this with more creativity?Annette1101Jan 24, 2025Brass Contributor8Views0likes0CommentsTrouble with MS booking showing a day off or being busy but still allowing to book.
We have been using the same MS Booking calendar for three years now. This year, there is a lot of double booking and we can't find any settings that is not ok : services are set to be available depending on staff availability events in staff outlook calendar is checked to affect availability time zone is the same in the booking calendar as in everyone's outlook calendar BUT: twos services from two different booking calendar can book the same staff at the same time a day off set in MS booking calendar affect availability only up to 7h pm so people can still book a meeting with a staff at 7h pm or later, despite showing the day off in the booking calendar and showing colored (busy) the whole day (in my case green) a meeting in outlook (outside of booking, say set manually or directly by a collegue) does not affect availability in BookingSCarriereJan 24, 2025Copper Contributor3Views0likes0CommentsModify standard email sent when you share your personal page
I strongly need to change the standard email sent when you share your personal page beacuse the subject of the email has been translated like that: "Prenota un orario con me senza tante discussioni" that sound REALLY REALLY UNPOLITE. So i can't use this tool. Please let me know how to modify email or fix the error. I can suggest a correct subject: "Prenota facilmente un appuntamento con me.". Thanks in advance.MarcoNigraJan 24, 2025Copper Contributor1View0likes0CommentsMS Teams App Bookings - transient issue in personal bookings
Hi there, can anybody help: Since two days I've been receiving the following information and I am not able to access the bookings services (app, browser version likewise). transient issue in personal bookings How to solve that issue? TY for any hint!MF_businessJan 24, 2025Copper Contributor2.5KViews1like10CommentsChanging the organiser of Team meetings created via Booking Calendar to facilitate breakout rooms
We have an issue similar to this post: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-bookings/choose-an-organiser-for-meetings-booked-in-bookings/m-p/3262100/thread-id/3321 We have a booking calendar which is set up with services that have group bookings slots with Teams links. The intention is for when these are booked, we can then break the group in to Breakout Rooms on the day. The problem is that in testing, we haven't found a way to actually allow us to use this option. The organiser of these meetings is the booking calendar itself from the links created, this being automated by the app. What I'd like to know is, has anyone who's been in a similar situation managed to find to either switch on Breakout rooms using the app, or allow the organiser to be swapped so we can manually do it? I'm just surprised if this is a general issue, because I would expect this feature to be used by organisations. Any ideas?DanielPrigmoreJan 23, 2025Copper Contributor405Views1like1CommentMicrosoft Outlook All Day Meetings - Defaults to "Free" Instead of Busy???
This is an interesting problem that I think was just overlooked during the creation of All Day Events in Outlook. To give a scenario our organization operates on Microsoft Bookings which uses your blocks to show availability. We constantly have people who take time off or need a day to do something off-site and for whatever bizarre reason All-Day events default to free. Besides the fact this is backwards and infuriating to say the least - it causes so much organizational problems as no one expects an All-Day blocked event to mean you are free. Thats quite the opposite of why you would block your calendar all day I would even go as far to say its completely counter intuitive for All-Day events to be marked as free, who the heck is free when they are OOO for the day? Thats the view point I am coming from / the scenario of why its a hassle though, our workflow operates heavily on our calendar blocks. Can we change this default for our entire organization or per user? Is the only way to make the meeting and then manually change it to busy? This seems like something that was just overlooked and never fixed or address. When we talk to our other Managed Service Providers they just laugh at how much of an oxymoron this feature is - "Im out all day today but outlook marked me as free"............NicolasTessitoreJan 23, 2025Copper Contributor61Views1like1CommentError Message When Clicking Link to Microsoft Bookings Page
We have a Public Microsoft Bookings page linked on our website to provide prospects with an option to schedule a call with our business development team. For the most part, this seems to be working fine. However we have been made aware that our link sometimes does not work. Is this because the end user does not have a Microsoft account? Below is an example of the screen that pops up when trying to click on the link.aobermillerJan 23, 2025Copper Contributor61Views0likes2CommentsTrack conversions for appointments booked through Microsoft Bookings on GT4
I'm hoping to track conversions for appointments booked through Microsoft Bookings when users click a button on my website. My current setup involves a simple redirect link from the button to the Bookings calendar, which means I lose user data after they leave my site. I've been researching potential solutions, but I'm looking for some guidance on the best approach. Ideally, I'd like to: - Identify users who clicked the button on my website - Track their activity within Microsoft Bookings - Attribute completed bookings to my website traffic I'm familiar with basic analytics tools like Google Analytics, but I'm open to exploring other options and integrations if necessary. Have any of you faced similar challenges with tracking conversions from website redirects to Microsoft Bookings? Thanks in advance for your insights!florenciaiDigitalJan 23, 2025Copper Contributor2.5KViews2likes5CommentsAdd Time Off not working?
I am trying to use the "add time off" function for 2 schedules and every time I press the create time off button, nothing happens. I tried both on the two calendars that actually need to be blocked and on myself which has no restrictions and I cannot get the "create time off" to stick. What am I doing wrong?aetarpleyJan 22, 2025Copper Contributor2.7KViews0likes11Comments
