My Personal Bookings Page is Gone
Eight (8) years ago, I opened a bookings page for my company and individual one for myself associated with my work email account. My company is still active and email has never changed. We recently went through a website change and I was on my bookings page late last month capturing service links to add in as hyperlinks on the company website. All seemed as normal. Today, however, I attempted to go to my Bookings site and my personal one is gone while my company's page still exists. The landing page for me now shows "Shared Pages" for my company and my page (apparently where I land) is as blank as the day I created it. I panicked and went to my website, clicked a hyperlink to see if it was broken, but was somewhat relieved to find that it worked. Just last month, when I went to "Bookings", it would take me to a landing page that showed images (call them buttons, links, whatever, but they were rectangles with the titles and indicated that I was the administrator) for the two pages that I had set up - one was for my entire company and one was for me only. Now, when I click on the same link I have been using for 8 years, I go to a landing page where I see only one image under a heading "Shared Pages" that is associated with my company's Bookings page but my personal page is gone. It is as if the link to Bookings takes me to what is supposed to be my personal page but everything that I had built in it is gone. And from my personal page, I can access the shared Company Page I created. All of the customizations and services that I had set up over the last 8 years on my personal page are gone yet the links to those very services still work. What is going on? How can I recover my other page? Am I going to have to start from scratch again? Does anyone realize the headache that will create when I have peppered our company website with links to different services and now may have to change all of that to make sure that I can use Bookings as I had been before? I receive email notifications of a service booked using the bookings page, but when I login to the calendar page, these do not show up as an entry. When I look in the services page, I also do not see the appointments that patients are booking. These same patients are telling me they are booking the service and received email confirmation. I am trying to set up an appointment service. Our appointments are 50 minutes long, to give us time to write up after and the student time to get to their lectures etc. People in our org also regularly schedule 50 min meetings that aren't through bookings. I have set it so that they start at 1 hour intervals, and have a 10 minute buffer after. This works fine most of the time. However, if I am available 10:00-14:00 on a Tuesday, and have an existing meeting in my calendar from 10:00-10:50, then the appointments show on bookings at 10:50, 11:50 and 12:50 for that day. This really doesn't work for our or the student's availability. Other than going through and manually adding a 10 minute appointment in my calendar at the end of any meeting, which isn't really feasible due to how busy we are, is there any way to force bookings to start "on the hour" every time, or another workaround others can think of? (I thought of moving the buffer to the beginning, which might help for the 50 min example, however if I had a meeting in from 9:30-10:30, appointments would then just go at 10:40, 11:40, etc) Thanks in advance for any suggestionsUniSam3892Feb 06, 2025Copper Contributor4.6KViews0likes7CommentsBooking Subject Line
It is really hard to keep up with booking without having to open the invites. There needs to be a way to modify the subject line. For example, I have custom questions that ask the Clients Name. I would like to check a option that allows for a custom question to be included in the booking subject line. Or at least include the customer name in the subject line instead of just the service type. Since a few weeks Microsoft Bookings very often shows me a specific notfication: "Temporary problem in personal bookings - Unfortunately, there seems to be a temporary network problem with personal bookings. Please refresh or try again later." My personal booking page then disappears (although I don't even use it, there is nothing set up in there) and I only see the shared bookings pages, which are relevant to me. However, if I want to access them, nothing really works: I can't make any changes, I can't set up a new service, I don't see the employees I added etc. The only thing that works is the booking page itself, so people can make bookings. Only the administration part doesn't function. This happens very often, in the App as well as in the Browser. Even for other colleagues of mine, this happens. I have found out though, that usually it works before 9 am and after 5pm (which are our companys office hours). And it occured as soon as more and more services were added to the page ( I am only talking about 10 services or so, and two shared booking pages.) Our internal tech service couldn't find a problem with my computer or so. Does anyone know, what might be the reason for this? Is there some setting maybe in bookings, that I need to change? Hi. I've just set up several booking services for parents to select meetings with teachers. All my settings (except dates and staff) are the same, however, some of the dates are not showing as available on the bookings page interface. I have been through everything but cannot find a reason why some dates are available and others aren't. Hi I am trying to set up bookings for my area and we need the street address to be easily visible to the staff. Is there any way to get the address to show on the booking on the calendar?
