Error Message When Clicking Link to Microsoft Bookings Page
We have a Public Microsoft Bookings page linked on our website to provide prospects with an option to schedule a call with our business development team. For the most part, this seems to be working fine. However we have been made aware that our link sometimes does not work. Is this because the end user does not have a Microsoft account? Below is an example of the screen that pops up when trying to click on the link.aobermillerJan 21, 2025Copper Contributor33Views0likes1CommentCustomizing Email Notifications in Microsoft Bookings
I am seeking guidance on the following aspects of Microsoft Bookings: Email Dispatch Mechanism: How Microsoft Bookings sends emails to clients (appointment confirmation, before-meeting email, after-meeting email)? Under the hood, does it utilize Microsoft Graph to schedule and send these emails? Custom Email Templates: I aim to bypass the default email notifications and implement customized templates for client communications. Is it possible to disable the standard email-sending feature in Microsoft Bookings and instead trigger my custom email workflow, perhaps using Microsoft Graph or another method?jackguraeJan 21, 2025Copper Contributor29Views0likes1CommentCan you require an attachment (document, file upload) for Bookings?
I'm not a pro at Bookings, but like using the tool to help navigate/create calendar appointments. Is there a workaround anyone has found, that requires or allows the uploading of a file or document with new bookings in O365? I'd like the respective file to populate as an attachment in my Outlook Calendar for each new Booking made. In transparency, I started a request for this feature (linked), but want to make sure I didn't naively overlook an existing way to do this. Is there a way anyone has found, preferably as a requirement, for a customer to attach or upload a file when scheduling a new calendar booking? Thanks in advance!Heather WhaleyJan 21, 2025Copper Contributor15KViews6likes11CommentsMicrosoft Bookings Reschedule Link
Hello, Is there a way to obtain the reschedule link that is set to the client booking an appointment so I can include it in other communications sent? I receive a link to the meeting but not the reschedule link. I've looked in the outlook meta data for reference to the URL but I didn't see it there. Hi, I can create appointments using the MS Bookings API, for particular staff/customers and services in my configured booking business. However I've noticed that the API call does not stop double bookings of staff from being created (same start/end, same staff/service etc). The MS Bookings user interface does seem to detect duplicate bookings (informing the user that they are too late as the staff member is now busy), whether the appointment is occurring at exactly the same points in time, or starts mid-way through an appointment. (I have tested this via multiple browser tabs at the booking page, booking the same appointment in each.) Inspecting the response in the web browser for the bookings UI shows an API response payload with "error": "Status(StatusCode="FailedPrecondition", Detail="Staff not available" Looking at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/bookingbusiness-post-appointments?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=httpfor the documentation of the API I've noticed that there is very little in regards non-success responses / error codes / oDataError documentation. In fact nothing at all. The only way around this I can see is that on booking an appointment you have to first check availability, but even that seems to be subject to a potential race condition - given that often the API call takes a few seconds to create the appointment and respond with the details. Does anybody know of a better work-around please, or is there some documentation I am missing, seems like a really important part is missing in the book appointment API -namely it should not proceed and should return an appropriate error message/response if the staff member is not available? Or perhaps, this is by design and the app programmer does need to re-check availability ;0 Thanks in advance for any help 🙂922Views0likes2CommentsMS Bookings - if one enrolled customer cancels a booking it cancels the entire booking
We are having an issue when guests are booking themselves into an existing appointment intended for multiple guests - once booked they are given a confirmation page including an option to "cancel booking" - however instead of cancelling it just for them it cancels the whole booking. All other customers that are booked in are informed and the original booking is removed from the calendar. Have seen many other posts with the same issue - reports of it being fixed don't appear accurate. We tested the process today (13th Sep) and the issue is not fixed Thank youTom_L_NNJan 21, 2025Copper Contributor1.8KViews0likes12CommentsBooking events not appearing on Apple Calendar
Cross posting from an Apple Support community post here. Seems that when an event is created on my Outlook/M365 calendar at work, it never appears on my Apple Calendar for that account. All other events are sync'ing up just fine and show as any other event. This seems to be an issue on the current version of MacOS Calendar for Ventura and on Big Sur. Anyone else having issue with Booking events not appearing in their Apple Calendar?SolvedbottsjwJan 20, 2025Copper Contributor7.3KViews7likes10CommentsBookings maximum lead time not working properly‎
I have set the maximum lead time to 21 days at the moment. Even so, clients are only able to book meetings 7 days in advance. It has been more than 24 hours since I changed the settings. In the past I have changed these settings without any problem. Please inform me how to resolve this issue.KristoferJan 20, 2025Copper Contributor12Views0likes1Comment
