PATCH /bookingBusinesses/{id} displayName updates not reflected in GET /bookingBusinesses
We are encountering an inconsistency with the Microsoft Graph API for Bookings. After sending a successful PATCH request to update the displayName of a booking business, the update is correctly reflected in the response of GET /bookingBusinesses/{id}. However, the same change is not reflected in the results of GET /bookingBusinesses, even after a week has passed. Details: PATCH Endpoint Used: PATCH https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/solutions/bookingBusinesses/{id} GET Endpoints Tested: GET https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/solutions/bookingBusinesses/{id} ✅ Shows updated displayName GET https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/solutions/bookingBusinesses ❌ Still shows old displayName Response to PATCH: HTTP 204 No Content (successful update) Observed Delay: Over 7 days, no change observed in list response. Expected Behavior: GET /bookingBusinesses should return the updated displayName for the business entity. Trace ID / Request Log Metadata: "timestamp": "2025-06-13T13:44:41.479Z" "service": "ms-bookings-business-graph-api-utility" "xray_trace_id": "1-684c2b46-693da2b57acdbf0c7e9110a1" "status": 204 Steps to Reproduce: Send a valid PATCH to update displayName on an existing booking business. Confirm GET /bookingBusinesses/{id} reflects the new displayName. Check GET /bookingBusinesses — the displayName remains unchanged. Wait multiple days (in this case, 7+) — still no update observed in the list endpoint. Impact: This affects our ability to reliably sync and display updated business data across our systems, particularly where lists are used (e.g., admin interfaces, calendars, reporting). It creates confusion for users expecting to see the latest business names.JohnFVJun 13, 2025Copper Contributor16Views0likes0CommentsCustomer display issue
Hello Everyone, Does anyone have the Issue when a Scheduler creates a new customer, the name appears like in the picture? it does not happen when an admin creates a new customer. Looks like the middle name, prefix, etc... are added by default Thanks,NhatHoang2592Jun 13, 2025Copper Contributor199Views0likes7CommentsTransferring a Bookings appointment to another staff member loses the Teams meeting link
Hello, When a customer schedules and booking through bookings as a teams meeting, we sometimes have an situation where the staff member originally assigned is not available to attend the meeting so we will go into the calendar in bookings and update the booking to another staff member. When with do this update, there is no longer the meeting link assigned to the booking and the button to join the meeting is missing from the update email. This did not seem to be a problem until recently. Here is the original booking email: Here is the updated email: This is what the meeting looks like in bookings once it has been updated. Note the Teams meeting information is missing: Is this a known issue or is there another way to do this?cmcdonelJun 12, 2025Copper Contributor20Views0likes0CommentsIssues with Bookings App - email custom reminders and scheduling randomly re-opens
I just started using the Bookings App in my department to schedule group visits to our college. I thought we had all the bugs sorted out, but more things keep popping up as issues. The 2 main issues we are dealing with now are: 1. our customized email reminders are not sent out when scheduled through the main services set-up or within the booked appointment. 2. days/a week after an appointment is booked and blocked off on the calendar, the app shows that date and time as available on the Booking Page. This happened with multiple appointments that we already made and blocked off. In addition, now when an appointment is booked and assigned to a staff member, that date/time option does not come off the calendar, it still shows as available. Is anyone else having these issues? I think this app will work for us, it just seems like once I figure out a workaround for 1 thing, something else stops working.Nikki504Jun 11, 2025Copper Contributor589Views0likes1CommentEnable Guest Emails
I created a shared booking page, available to anyone. Now I have added the services, and when I enable guest emails, it does not fix the option and the page does not show the option to add more addresses. Can anyone help me understand the reason and fix the situation? I have been asked to create a new room resource for a Bookings shared space. This Bookings space has other room resources that are working fine. The expected behavior is that Users will book with these room resources that are added as Staff within the Bookings space. Bookings will send an email invite to the room resource, and it will automatically accept. This will add the invite to the Bookings calendar for the staff and also add the meeting invite to the Room Resource. I have created a new room resource and added as a Staff / Team Member role in the Bookings space. When booking with that new room resource the invite is no automatically being accepted as it is for others. In the image above you can see the invite appears on my calendar but not on the room resources calendar. This is critical as this room resource calendar is tied to a touch panel screen for booking that room. In the image above you can see the meeting appears on the bookings calendar. Taking a look at the mailboxes deleted items I can see the meeting invite makes it to the inbox, but the meeting is not accepted. Auto accept invites are turned on The deleted items of room resource setup exactly the same to my knowledge show the invites getting accepted Can I get some guidance on getting Bookings to correctly send meeting invites to my room resource so they can be accepted?SolvedqdueringJun 11, 2025Copper Contributor53Views0likes1CommentDuplicate and Confusing Calendar Entries from Microsoft Bookings with Teams on Shared Booking Pages
I am using Microsoft Bookings integrated with Teams for IT support appointments. Specifically, we use shared booking pages (not personal booking pages) for multiple team members. When a customer books an appointment via the shared booking page, the initial calendar entry is created correctly in Outlook, showing the customer’s name and all relevant details. However, at the start of the appointment, I receive a second calendar entry. This second entry has the generic title "IT-Support," is displayed in red and italic font, and shows the status "No response required." Unlike the first entry, it does not show the customer’s name, which causes confusion and clutter in the calendar. From what I understand, this second entry is likely the automated Teams meeting invite generated by Bookings to provide the Teams meeting link, but it is not personalized and appears as a duplicate. Has anyone else experienced this behavior with shared booking pages? Is there a known fix or workaround to prevent receiving this second, generic calendar entry or to have it display the customer’s name properly? Also, is there a way to streamline the booking and Teams meeting invitations so that only one clear calendar entry is created?ImproviseJun 11, 2025Copper Contributor91Views0likes3CommentsBookings: Drawing free/available data from multiple calendars...
I am using Office 365 (online) and MS Bookings. Inside Office 365 (online), I have my primary organization calendar (me@org.com) and it syncs just fine with Bookings by blocking time and only showing available time in Bookings where there are no calendar items booked in my primary calendar (me@org.com). The problem I am having comes from my additional calendars. I use separate practice management software for my business (my PP Calendar) that also syncs in Office 365 (online) as a calendar for me under "your calendars" and/or "other calendars". As a result, when I click on the calendar icon in Office 365 (online), I see my primary calendar (me@org.com) items in light blue and my PP Calendar items in green. In practice, my primary calendar (me@org.com) is where my personal items go and my PP Calendar is where my work appointments are stored. While I have no problem getting Bookings to use my primary calendar (me@org.com) to determine free/busy times, it does NOT block off times where there is a conflict with my PP Calendar items. This is obviously an issue in that people are booking when I still have conflicts. I've tried using PP Calendar inside Office 365 as a "your calendar" and as "other calendars" and neither seems to prompt Bookings to block off those times as busy. Am I doing something wrong? I've read the articles about getting Bookings to use personal calendars as well, but that doesn't seem to help. Does anyone have an idea how to set this up so I can make Bookings useful to my organization? I only have one "staff" member and calendar (me@org.com) that uses Office 365. As a workaround, is there a way to create an alias or group that cumulates all of the calendars at issue so that Bookings can draw from one comprehensive source? Alternatively, is there a way to draw my PP Calendar items INTO my primary calendar (me@org.com) such that the PP Calendar is not a standalone extra calendar with its own color but instead displays all of the PP Calendar items as if they were imported or entered directly into my primary calendar (me@org.com)? Stated another way, is there a way for me to see all if the PP Calendar items inside my actual primary calendar (me@org.com) so that they will display whether I have any additional "your calendars" or "other calendars" selected? Any help would be greatly appreciated. See attachment if it helps.Timothy LessingJun 10, 2025Copper Contributor16KViews2likes20CommentsBookings Sending Domain
Trying to work through a problem that when we send Bookings appointments to outside or domain, it never sends. It is primarily due to our onmicrosoft.com domain is not actually set up and we do everything through our primary domain. I see that you can set the "BookingsMailboxDomain" through Set-OwaMailboxPolicy. Which I created a new mailboxpolicy and set that to the correct domain. However, when I run a get-casmailbox it won't find the user, I assume since it is a scheduling mailbox type? So I cannot assign the mailbox policy to it. Even if I assign it an exchange license. Any other ideas out there?Smervin124Jun 10, 2025Copper Contributor16Views0likes0CommentsLimit the number of people per booking
When I run a research study I need to be able to control the amount of people who are booking onto it - right now I have to manually watch the sign ups via bookings then manually close the bookings page - this is really inconvenient when I am out of office and cannot track. This also has financial implications, if we have more participants than we anticipate then we have to pay more money.KimboBroJun 10, 2025Copper Contributor7Views0likes0Comments
