I am getting this error "Transient issue in Personal bookings - Sorry, it looks like there is a temporary network problem with Personal Bookings. Please refresh or try again in sometime." I have switch browsers and cleared cookies and cache. How can I clear this error. It has effected our shared booking pages so any updates to settings, staff, or services do not save.203Views1like5CommentsMicrosoft Bookings - Bad Request
Hi All, I work in higher education, and we have been using Microsoft Bookings so that faculty could schedule 1-on-1 meetings with our instructional design team for assistance with Canvas. This was working perfectly for about a month, but recently a lot of users have been reporting a "Bad Request" error. I've noticed that the Bookings link has started routing users to https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/ which is generating the Bad Request error whereas the link used to direct to the Bookings page fine. I've noticed that clearing cache/cookies or going into an incognito window is a workaround, but I was wondering if anyone knew a more permanent fix for this issue. Thank you for any assistance and I will update this thread if I figure something out on my end.2.3KViews1like5CommentsBookings - include cancel button in notification emails
Is there a way to put an option to either automatically include the cancel button or omit it in the notification emails? Instead of adding it as an additional information because I also don't know where I can get a dynamic cancellation link that can be used to cancel any of the appointments booked. This is a pretty basic feature just like the reschedule button. The problem if there is no cancellation button in the notifications is that there is no way for the client to cancel the appointment unless he/she saved the cancellation link found in the booking confirmation page after he/she had booked the appointment via the page. Only the admin has the ability to cancel the appointment manually via the bookings calendar.15Views1like0CommentsStarting Meetings Only at :00 or :30?
Hello! In my Bookings calendar, I offer a few different meeting length (15min, 30min, 1 hour) and then a 45 minute presentation/introduction option. In any case, I'd like to configure Bookings so regardless of what the person chooses, it's starting the meeting at the top of the hour or at the :30 mark. I have a number of cases lately where someone is booking something at 1:25 or 1:55, for example, which isn't ideal. I can't really find a toggle button for such a use case. Any workarounds or ideas? We're pretty locked down in terms of software options, so third party tools aren't a viable solution.31Views2likes2CommentsAdjusting Expiration Date on Bookings Page Link
Good Afternoon, I am a recruiter using Bookings for Me to allow candidates to arrange their phone screens with me. My question is - the link that is generated has an expiration date typically a few months into the future. Is there an option to tweak the expiration date to be about a week out from when it's generated? Currently, because the bookings page link is available for such an extended amount of time, candidates I haven't heard from in ages after inviting them to phone screen have randomly gone in and selected a time, which I'm trying to avoid. Any guidance would be appreciated! Thanks!Solved4.4KViews2likes3CommentsNeed to be able to adjust staff availability within date ranges
If anyone has a solution, I'd love to hear it! In search of a way to adjust staff members’ varying work schedules without impacting availability of services. Here is the scenario. We set up a Bookings calendar for our university writing center. Two faculty are admins and nearly 50 students are bookable consultants. Business hours are standard, consultants’ availability hours are established on an individual basis per their work schedule, students in need of help can book appointments up to one week in advance. Everything worked great for 15 weeks of the semester. As finals week approaches (week 16), our consultants work schedules will vary greatly due to their exam schedules. We dug deep to find a way to make things work, but had no luck. Problem is, there is no way to adjust an individual consultant’s work schedule for a short period of time. So, if the consultant usually works 8-11am Monday through Friday during the regular semester, but she will need to work 1-4pm during exam week, there is no way to set that for a single week. We can only change her normal hours which impacts her immediate availability, not just during the week that it needs to be. This is a problem. We explored all options of “Time Off” service availability, etc. and came up with no good solution. For now, we have set up a completely separate Bookings calendar specifically for exam week. That calendar has the staff assigned to the work schedule just for that single week. On the web site, we had to have two links. Book here for appointments during first 15 weeks. Book here for appointments during exam week. Far from ideal. Would like to have an option to set staff member availability by week.1.9KViews5likes3CommentsBookings - force time intervals to be 30- or 15-min only
This is related to this post which was left unanswered. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/bookings-force-services-available-times-to-start/be7d0942-e0cf-4293-a1fe-4ac51a4a8d31 I created a service that has a 35-minute duration. So if i start at 10am, the available time slots should show as 10:00, 10:45, 11:30, 12:15, 1:00, etc. what i mean is that when a client will book at 10, even if the appointment is only for 35 minutes, the next client can only book at 10:45, and so on and so forth. this is to ensure that there will be no weird start times. I have already done the suggestion from copilot below but still not working: Set Appointment Duration: Go to the "Services" section in Bookings and set the appointment duration to 35 minutes. Add Buffer Time: In the same "Services" section, add a buffer time of 10 minutes after each appointment. This ensures that the next available slot starts at a clean Adjust Time Increments: Navigate to the "Booking Page" settings and set the time increments to 15 minutes. This will make the available time slots align with your desired intervals. Is this something that is not doable from a user perspective and really needs to have a system code change to allow for this feature? I highlighted the start times in the screenshot below that are somewhat weird when scheduling an appointment.45Views0likes0CommentsCategorize services in Bookings
Is it possible to have an option to categorize services in MS Bookings page such that if i have a lot of services, i can group them into categories/sub-categories and the clients will not anymore scroll down to the entire list just to look for the service he needs. Although a work-around of doing color coding or naming convention or re-arranging services is suggested by copilot, it still is somewhat an eyesore if there are a lot of services out there for the client to choose from. In other booking apps such as acuity and simplybookme, this is a basic feature.11Views0likes0CommentsBookings Buffer Time Toggle not working
I added 15 minute buffet time before and after meetings. When a meeting is scheduled, I go back into Bookings and toggle the buffet time off, hit Update bookings. When I go back to the event, the Buffer time toggle is back on. go back into the booking and the buffer is back: Any help is appreciated!34Views0likes0CommentsCan't access MS bookings URL: This information can't be retrieved right now. Please try again later
Hi all, On a client's tenant, I have a user who cannot use Microsoft Bookings. This user was previously converted to a shared mailbox and later switched back to a user mailbox. Currently, a Business Premium license is assigned, and Microsoft Bookings is enabled under the assigned apps. I have already disabled it, waited a day, and re-enabled it, but the issue persists. Whenever the user accesses the link https://outlook.office.com/bookings/, they receive the following message: "This information can't be retrieved right now. Please try again later." The problem is not related to caching; I have tested this in all browsers, incognito mode, and on different computers. The issue is isolated to this account. All other users with the exact same settings can access Microsoft Bookings without any problems.223Views2likes11Comments
