Microsoft Bookings Use Cases/Scenarios for large corporate organizations.
Dear all, What can be the use cases/ scenarios for leveraging MS Bookings in LARGE CORPORATE ORGANIZATIONS. Let this trail be a reference thread for use cases/ scenarios. I am jotting down few ideas. Please add your views and ideas. We can run targeted adoption campaigns based on these ideas. 1. Sales/Pre-sales employees - to manage appointment with customers 2. For all employees - If they want to conduct knowledge sharing sessions 3. L&D, Training teams - To manage appointments for the programs 4. For Coach - To schedule their coaching sessions 5. For HRBPs - To make the employees aware of their available slots Sally_Richardson ClaireThirlwall Willem_Veenstra ainemeehan joeybaruchamdig Geoffrey McNaughton Gabriel_ValdezneptunespearMar 05, 2022Copper Contributor213KViews1like2CommentsAllowing multiple bookings for the same time in Microsoft Bookings
Hi, I am trying to setup a bookings calendar that allows multiple people to book the same service at the same time. In this instance it is First Aid Training for a specific day without time increments. To simplify this question. Is it possible to setup a service to allow multiple people book in for a 09:00am service on the same day? It appears once the first person books this service, it blocks out the time slot which I understand why it would do this. If not, any suggestion on how to do this? Thank for your suggestions.SolvedChristopher CarterMay 08, 2018Copper Contributor91KViews4likes30CommentsHow to set up a booking with multiple staff?
Our office just switched to Office 365. I'm used to using calendar/booking software like Calendly etc. I find it easier to send people a booking link than to try to coordinate between multiple people. I need to send a booking link to an external customer but I need the available times to book to be where there is overlap between multiple staff members, and for when the booking is made, it alerts these multiple staff. For instance, I am trying to set up a meeting with an external client, my boss, and myself. I want the external client to be able to only book times that my boss and I are both available, and when they book I want it to include both my boss and myself in the booking. I tried to set up a booking and turned off the "choose staff" option, but instead of booking both of us, it only booked one of us. Is it possible to do what I want to do in the MS booking app?aslanfrenchJun 05, 2020Copper Contributor89KViews10likes35CommentsUsing bookings for events at specific times
HI, Bookings might not be the right tool for this task but I want to check. I plan to run small online webinars for colleagues and I'd like to list the events so they can book an event to suit them. I need to limit the number, so a normal meeting invite doesn't work (unless someone has a useful work around for that?) Some events will repeat, so I'd set a few occasions for some. Is there an easy way to set the time/s as a service, or do I need to set very limited working hours and block out my diary for all but the times I want to hold the event? Or is there another simple tool I could use? I know I could create free Eventbrite listings but I don't want them to be openly available or put in as much detail as a listing site would need. I have a requirement to create a sign-up sheet for an event which comprises several different time slots, and for each slot there is a max of 50 attendees. I have used the Bookings app in the past for event sign-ups, although not with so many attendees. According to this page I can do group bookings by setting the "Maximum number of attendees per event" for a service. However, when I enter any number in the Maximum Attendees field and select "Save", that number is not retained - i.e. when I revisit that Service page, the field is empty, and I am unable to make more than one booking for that Service at any one time. Where am I going wrong?Russ ThomsonFeb 20, 2020Brass Contributor61KViews3likes52CommentsRemove "Book time to meet with me" from new mail
Hello, I tested Bookings once, now I have "Book time to meet with me" in every new mail. How do I remove it ? My Microsoft Bookings is currently disabled and I removed Booking for my profile (licence removed / Booking deleted). The link is also dead: This link is not valid. Please contact the organizer to check if the URL is correct. Signature options in Outlook client and OWA are blank and not set. I googled alot and also asked ChatGPT but couldnt find it out. How can I remove it ?SolvedThomas555Aug 29, 2023Copper Contributor43KViews0likes10CommentsMicrosoft Can't Access Booking Calendar
We recently added a person to our team and I am trying to give them access to our booking calendar. I am an admin on the account and have turned on two product licenses for her - Office 365 Enterprise E3 and Business Apps (Free). We can click the bookings icon in her account but when we select the calendar we want to add we get a message stating "We can't connect to the booking calendar right now. Please try again later." We have been trying to add the calendar for three days and keep getting the same error message. As an admin, I have already added her as a team member to the staff section of the calendar, however when I try to add her hours in "availability" or list her as an administrator vs. viewer, the system says "Your request can't be completed right now. Please try again later." when I try to save. I have been getting this error message for three days, as well. Is there a reason the Microsoft system is not allowing us to make changes or add this booking calendar to her account?SolvedKimberly BoydMay 27, 2018Copper Contributor42KViews0likes10CommentsBookings URL
Hello, I have two questions related to the bookings published page URL. 1. I changed my business name and the bookings URL is still showing the old/original business name. Is there a way to update this? 2. Is there a way to create separate Bookings URLs for each staff member? Currently we have a business page set up and services with available staff. For our business use, we would like to be able to share links that would take customers to a specific staff members bookings page.
