Meeting Agenda permissions sometimes wok
Once a week or so I create a number of internal Teams meetings generally with the same handful of individuals. Before I send it, I add a few agenda items. Unfortunately, at least half of the time, I am the only one with permissions (come meeting time someone may point it out). Having to go through, reopen each meeting, go through Shared Locations to open the loop's web page, clicking on Share, then Loop Component, then Settings, then People you choose, and then reentering the same attendees is very time consuming. I believe I am creating the meetings the same way each time, but I can't figure out why permissions are set sometimes and not others. Am I doing something wrong? Any ideas other than a reoccurring meeting?NickB123Nov 08, 2024Copper Contributor7Views0likes1CommentTeams Auto Attendant, where can the user configure vacation?
I have set up Teams Telephonie with Auto Attendant. I have added Authorized Users. I have setup a Voice application policy, allowed the necessary functions and assigned it to the authorized users. Those Authorized Users are now able to set the greetings messages of the Auto Attendant through the Teams App (Configuration, Calls). However, there seems no way to allow the autorized users to change vacation times and vacation greeting messages. Where can authorized users do this?DanHuberNov 08, 2024Iron Contributor7Views0likes0CommentsPrivate Channels Just Don’t Get Any Respect
Microsoft launched private channels in November 2019. A lot has happened since and private channels don’t really get much attention these days. That’s a pity because private channels can be very useful in the right situation. I rediscovered this fact recently when working through an issue with a university where private channels were the right answer. Like all technologies, happiness comes from choosing the right tool. https://office365itpros.com/2024/11/08/private-channels-no-respect/8Views0likes0Commentsimpossible to pick up calls teams
Hello Recurring problems with Teams telephony: when they receive a call from outside, they often can't pick it up, and when they do, it hangs up or tells them they're already on another call. I've tried system updates, HP updates, uninstalling all Teams on the PCs and reinstalling the latest version, cleared the Teams cache, system cleanup, the problem persists. Has anyone had this problem before? ThanksVULQUINNov 08, 2024Copper Contributor3Views0likes0CommentsStill getting notifications for channels I've turned them off for - how to disable?
I'm receiving notifications for channels which I've explicitly turned them off for, and the channels are hidden in the team. I've tried showing the channels again, going to channel notifications and making sure both options areoffand then hiding the channel again but this hasn't helped. I see the same behaviour across multiple computers in both desktop client and web app. I had previously 'followed' the channels back when that was a thing, it's a possibly a hold over from that? Would really like a way to disable them permanently.39KViews5likes37CommentsNew Teams Desktop app no longer supports personal account
Trying to join Teams calls, I was required to update my Teams app before it would allow me to join. Once I updated the app - when I tried to open it, I was told it no longer supports personal accounts and I had to use web access. Is it true that my M365 personal account will not get me access to a desktop delivered teams experience? The web delivered experience does not give me the same benefits of notifications and joining teams calls through a link that I was able to have with Teams. I used to use the Teams desktop app daily with my personal account without any issue. Can you tell me what the new experience is suppose to be for a desktop user?HomeTeamsJRVNov 07, 2024Occasional Reader5Views0likes0CommentsNew user unable to search for external contacts

I have no issues using the "old" version of teams. The problem only occurs in the "new" version. In a meeting all incoming video turns black (including shared screens). my image "floats" in the middle of the screen and is also frozen. The "mini" window when I minimize the application during a meeting show live/unfrozen incoming video of the speaker. Version Info: You have Microsoft Teams version23231.413.2355.7555. You've got the latest version. It was last updated on 9/12/2023. The client version is49/23082000931.ChananBNov 07, 2024Brass Contributor99KViews27likes219CommentsCoPilot Icon missing in Teams
Hi Everybody, since a few days we have a small amount of CoPilot Licenses. Its seems to work everywhere as expected, only in Teams we are missing the icon for CoPilot within chats etc. - I checked the settings in the Admin panel several times - seems to be all correct. Does anyone have the same issue or somebody a solution for that topic? We are running on the new Teams Client. What I can add and use is the CoPilot App in the left pane. This is working. I'm also using Teams Premium. Thanks in advance for your help! Cheers TorstenTorstenKlugeNov 07, 2024Copper Contributor31KViews0likes11Comments
