Has anyone gotten Yealink MP56, or any other Teams IP phone working with SBA? We've been testing failover to SBA by restricting access to the internet for Teams devices. The Windows desktop client fails over to SBA without issue. The desktop client shows the banner of lost internet access and continues to make/receive PSTN calls. The Yeallink phones never show a banner, and can't make/receive PSTN calls. We have support cases open with Microsoft and Yealink but they have not gone beyond collecting logs.1.8KViews0likes5CommentsLocal Survivability with Operator Connect
Wanted to see if anyone out there has stood up a form of Local Survivability for PSTN access in the event someone loses connectivity back to the Teams tenant or an M365 outage? Not sure if it's on the roadmap to have SBA's work in parallel with OC clients? I'd hope you could have the IP Phone register to both OC and the SBA and in the event OC was unreachable the phone would use the SBA to dial out to the PSTN. I understand we can standup different ISP's for carrier diversity but if both went down to a fiber cut, this client needs access to 911 as they are a city with many recreational facilities for the residents that use them. Any thoughts on how we can roll out a Local Survivability option with Operator Connect would be appreciated . Thanks!46Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft SBA can not connect with the MS teams client
I have a configuration involving multiple SBA's that was operational for a few weeks. However, I recently encountered an issue where calls to the SBA ceased functioning after disconnecting the internet connection from both Teams and SBA clients. Despite ensuring that certificates and licenses are correct, the problem persists. In the SBA log, when a call originates from the PSTN, the following entries are visible: INVITE): Move from Initial -> Notifying state"|"" Sending call notification to: "internal ID" "|"" No active registration for: "internal ID" "|"" SIP/2.0 480 Temporarily Unavailable However, when the call is initiated from the Teams client towards the PSTN, there is no corresponding entry in the SBA log. (Note: Teams clients are properly associated with the SBA.) Do you have any suggestions for debugging this issue? Thanks Amauri1.7KViews0likes3CommentsMS Teams SBA
