Hello! Has anyone encountered this before - some users are receiving Teams notifications for meetings they are not invited to. So User 1 creates a Teams meeting with User 2. User 3 is receiving Teams notification about this meeting. All 2 users are in the same department so I wonder if this is linked somehow to a group they may all be part of? TIA!25Views0likes1CommentAllow muting a person only for me
Sometimes I am in a meeting where one of the persons in the meeting is actually near me in the world outside the screen. In this case the sound is a bit maddening since there is a small delay between the sound from the person and the sound through the teams interface. In these cases, I would like to mute the person only for me since I am sitting near and can hear the person fine without headphones. Right now I need to takeoff headphones when the person is talking and putting it back as the person finishes talking.120KViews162likes137CommentsNo meeting email notification to internal participants
Hi, Does anyone know if it is default behaviour that when you create a Teams meeting only external participants receive an email notification for the meeting? Currently when a meeting is created, internal organisation participants have the meeting added to their Microsoft Calendar but do not get an email notification. Is there a policy that needs to be changed to allow this behaviour? I thought this would have been the default way it would be done. Thanks!109Views0likes5CommentsMeeting Recording policy enabled - users see lock icon
Hi all, We have Meeting recording and Transcription enabled under the Global (Org-wide default) policy. Users still see the lock icon against the options in the Teams client though. They nor their computers are in any other Teams policies that would disable these. Does anyone know what the issue might be? thanks jc35Views0likes1CommentHow to have more than one video chat at one time?
I was wondering if anyone knows how to have more than one video chat at the same time? Example I want to book 4 video chats using my own account, view the video chats at the same time and date. ( I would use outlook calendar to book 4 different video chats with 4 different users). Problem is if I'm using the MSTeams app I can only view 1 chat. If I click on my calendar invite and open the next video chat scheduled at the same time it overrides the first one. I did figure out how to view 2 video chats at once. I open one in the app and the second one in a browser such Microsoft edge by copying the video chat hyperlink from the calendar invite and pasting it the browser. I then select view in browser. This does not override the MSteams app. There is no way to open the 3rd and 4th video chat. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Having the video chats in separate windows is very important as I cannot have them in one video chat together. Thank you.4.1KViews0likes4CommentsMicrosoft Teams Just Got Smarter: Real-Time Bidirectional Translation!

I have a user on New Teams that repeatedly has trouble with screens being shared in meetings by other people showing up as a Green Blocky mess on her end. So far we have cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled New Teams, updated graphics drivers, tested her internet connection (measured at 300Mbps down by 35Mbps Up and she is the only user on it) performed normal system maintenance (SFC, D.I.S.M, CHKDSK), and restarts galore. No luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.8.3KViews6likes49CommentsDeploying custom meeting backgrounds to all users
We're looking to deploy a set of custom meetings backgrounds to all of our users, what's the bets method for that? Looking at using the file copy option via a GPO but wanted to see if there might be some other ways of doing it. Has anyone done this in their orgs?Solved75KViews0likes14CommentsPersistent Bluetooth Headset Issues in Microsoft Teams
Many users, including myself, have encountered persistent issues using Bluetooth headsets with Microsoft Teams, particularly in the desktop app. Common problems include: Audio Output Problems: Low audio quality or no audio at all. Microphone Issues: The microphone does not function consistently or at all. Connection Drops: Devices disconnect unexpectedly during or after breakout sessions. Specific Trigger Points: These issues are often limited to Teams and do not occur in other applications. Notable Observations: Disabling the "Handsfree Telephony" service on the headset in Windows resolves many of these problems but renders the headset as a simple audio output device, necessitating an external microphone. The issues seem prevalent across various brands (e.g., Jabra, Poly Voyager, Sony, Bose) These issues are frustrating, especially since they are less frequent in other apps like Zoom or on the Teams web app. It seems related to how Teams interacts with Bluetooth profiles (A2DP vs. HFP) and prioritizes them during meetings. Action for the Community: To help Microsoft prioritize this issue, I’ve submitted detailed feedback on the Microsoft Teams Feedback Portal. If you’re experiencing similar problems, I encourage you to upvote and comment on the feedback to bring more visibility to this matter. What has just happened? Did you remove the option to translate from Microsoft Teams altogether?! We really need this option back - to be able to speak in one language, but for the receiving end to read the text in another language. Like from Japanese to English and English to Japanese. This is no longer supported. Could you please bring this feature back, and ideally, make it so that it works with individual settings, i.e. all text/speech is translated to English for me, whilst all text/speech is translated to Japanese for my counterpart?10KViews0likes3Comments
