Microsoft Teams/Lists/Forms
Hello, I need help with a few things. 1. When someone fills out the form (on the right), it then populates into the list (on the left). When I comment on the populated row within the list, the user I am tagging is not getting notifications. How can I fix this? I do not want anyone else having access to the full list, just my comment. 2. Is there a way to create a workflow for approvals? I.e. if it's a primary buyer I want these 3 people to approve in order, but if it's an investor then I want these 4 people to approve in order?
Looking for integrated it helpdesk and remote desktop control solutions
We have been looking to replace our current remote control / remote desktop support tool (Comodo One/ Xcitium) for a while now, and have looked at Team Viewer, but find it lacking, as we also would like an integrated Help Desk product that could perhaps be used corporate wide not just for IT Support. I have done quite a bit of research but can't find anything reasonably priced with the feature we need. Some have Teams integration but not a very good help desk solution. New Teams - Cannot tick "auto-start teams"
Hello I have a windows 10 22h2 with the new teams version 24033.811.2738.2546. Teams is not lauching at startup and when i check in the settings, i cannot tick the box "Auto Start Teams" when i click on it, nothing happens. i also tried to set teams to "enabled" in the task manager startup menu, but it changed back to "disable" after 10-15secs. Any idea on why ? I tried to check for logs but i'm kinda lost on to where to look I already uninstall & reinstall the new teams I checked the regedit keyOrdinateur\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppModel\SystemAppData\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\TeamsTfwStartupTask and it seems good (compare to other pc) thanks for your help 😉
Team Android Mobile app syncing issue
I am writing to bring to your attention a critical issue affecting a significant portion of our fleet of Android devices. Approximately 10-20 percent of our devices are experiencing a perplexing problem with the Teams application, wherein certain teams fail to sync and update properly. To date the only fix is for the user to log into a web browser version of teams and look at the teams channel it then updates on the tablet. The symptoms of this issue are as follows: despite new posts being made in a channel, affected devices display outdated information and fail to reflect the latest updates. Consequently, users are unable to access crucial information in a timely manner, significantly impeding workflow and collaboration efforts. To date, we have exhausted various troubleshooting measures, all of which have proven ineffective in resolving the issue. These include: Clearing cache and temporary files: This action results in channels appearing blank, devoid of any data, including both old and new posts. Logging out and then back in: Despite attempting to re-authenticate, the problem persists. Deleting the Teams application from the device: Reinstalling the application has not yielded any improvements. Interestingly, we have observed that if a user is tagged in a post, the content becomes accessible through the activity tab of Teams. However, this workaround is not a sustainable solution for our operational needs. Given the severity of this issue and its adverse impact on our productivity, we urgently require your assistance in identifying and rectifying the root cause from the administrative side. Any insights or guidance you can provide to resolve this matter expediently would be greatly appreciated.Limiting Team invitations to specific members
Dear Microsoft, Within our organization, the ability to limit teams invites is a must for meetings. When we create a meeting, without doing so, optional members are added to the teams meeting. You can imagine that when a team meeting is created and 200 people are a member of a team but only 5 are invited, that a meeting can quickly become unproductive. We've also noted that using private channels does not allow you to create meetings. And, in fact, using a private channel would be ideal when you don't want 200+ personnel invited to a meeting that don't belong. Can we suggest two feature updates? 1. Prevent Teams from broadcasting to the whole team. Only invite the required personnel. Optional members should be just that, only receive the invite if you were included on the Optional field. Users would be able to see if they're optional or not. 2. Allow Teams to utilize private channels for more meeting control or to allow for meetings which require extreme privacy (i.e., investigations, meetings about personal health discussions, etc.).
