Hello everyone, I have a question about the configuration of the Auto Attendant. A brief explanation of the problem: I am currently creating a hotline for one of our business units. A routing point of the Auto Attendant should be that the number 3 is forwarded to the specified external number by pressing a key. Everything works as it should. Now comes the problem: This number, to which the call is then forwarded, is the location of an attendant console (AC-Win system) of our Hipath4000 telephone system of one of our receptions. This can display which hotline the caller is currently coming from. This requires the Auto Attendant to remove the number of the actual caller when forwarding and to forward the call in the context of another predefined number. Is it possible to realize this? Via caller ID policies or something similar? Best regards Elias57Views0likes1CommentPSTN forwarding (Microsoft Calling plan)
We are using Microsoft Calling Plan and have assigned 10-digit numbers to staff. One admin assistant is handling incoming (external) calls for their supervisor who does not want the PSTN calls ringing him directly in Teams. But with forwarding on, we're noticing ALL calls - including web and video, and including internal calls - are being forwarded. While this is useful for some scenarios, traditional delegation would call for distinguishing incoming external PSTN calls. What "clean" options do we have to forward the external PSTN calls to the assistant? I feel like this should already be an explicit setting in the Teams Call settings... Ideally the supervisor would retain the line for outbound and dial by name. I'm guessing I could create (yet another) call queue and assign both people, then opt out the supervisor (who does not want the incoming PSTN calls ringing him directly in Teams). But that means we lose outbound calls unless I assign a separate line to the supervisor and turn on an outbound caller ID policy that maps to the (now shared) line. Thanks!Solved61Views0likes1CommentExternally and Internally Call Divert

I started the below error on a lot of computers today. My co-worker did not get the error UNTIL he updated to the same version of Teams as me You have Microsoft Teams version 25072.1609.3541.7814. You've got the latest version. It was last checked on 4/7/2025. The issue is with multiple windows 11 users and their local teams installation. Brand new issue and trust me I'm the admin there were no changes by me. (in Exchange or Teams) I've run the Exchange connectivity test (ok) The MS remote connectivity test fails with this error Make sure user has Exchange Web Services EWS and REST API protocols enabled. The Microsoft 365 Teams Calendar App diagnostics referenced in the link requires a Microsoft 365 admin account to be executed This worked Friday, it does this today. What changed?983Views3likes9CommentsAnyone else intermittently losing the Immersive Space (3D) option off of the View menu?
Anyone else having this issue? I've been doing a lot in Teams Immersive Spaces. It has worked in New Teams for most of the year. I've demonstrated it in front of live audiences successfully for most of the year too. Until about two weeks ago. I was in front of an audience, went to show them how it works on a Business Standard tenant I've had for about 10 months, and boom, no Immersive Space (3D) on the View menu. I have all the right settings, the right licenses, and it has been working fine until now. It doesn't matter if I am doing a "meet now" or a scheduled meeting. Alone, or with others invited. I've made sure my version is up to date. I've removed and reinstalled Teams, I've tried it with other accounts, I've done a reset and a repair. I've rebooted the computer. I've tried it on other Windows 11 machines with Teams. I have an enterprise tenant, also was able to use Immersive Spaces in Teams, that also has this issue using the clients on my computers. It is intermittent. Some of my friends who tried it for me, can see it on the menu (including on the Mac), some can't. It often works once, then the Immersive Space (3D) menu item then disappears, and even a quit and restart of Teams won't bring it back. It does seem to be more dependable on the Mesh admin trial licenses than the paid for Teams Premium licenses for some reason. Not sure if that's a red herring, but I thought I'd mention it. Also, occasionally, the users I invite (if I do a scheduled meeting and not a meet now), will show up briefly as unknown, when they've had the right licensing for a while, but this disappearing menu item thing happens even with no one else invited. Anyone else having this issue with Teams? Have you found a fix? I've just really gotten people comfortable using the feature, and now it's not dependable.180Views2likes1CommentI cannot zoom in or zoom out with microsoft Teams now?
I am using version "25060.205.3499.6849" I used to be able to use ctrl + mouse scroll or ctrl + = to zoom in, as if I am using a Brower. Somehow I can't do it anymore? Even when I click on the three dots on the top-right side and click on keyboard shortcuts, I still see "Zoom in" and "Zoom out" shortcuts there, but they literally don't work?31Views0likes0CommentsSeparate Teams app for personal and work account
Hello everybody, I was using Skype for personal use and Teams for work on iPhone/iPad and macOS. I recently migrated from Skype to Teams and I’m looking for a way how to have separate app for personal and work account. My use case is that I want to close “work” Teams on macOS and disable all notification on iPhone/iPad when I’m not working. It was easy with combination Skype and Teams, but I don’t how to achive it with Teams. Thank you very much in advance. I've been asked to look at changing the default settings for recordings & transcriptions, specifically the “Who has access to the recording or transcript.” setting, changing it from "Everyone" to "Specific people". I've looked through Meeting Policies in Teams Admin Center but can't see an option that governs this behaviour. Although we've advised users to change this setting if needed, we have had instances where the user has forgotten to change the default and has inadvertently allowed guest/temporary participants (who may have only been in attendance for a specific item) to see the whole meeting transcript. Many thanks, Olly83Views1like1CommentHow do I stop "out of office and may not respond" notifications in Teams chat?
Hi, I don't mind getting these (the ones that appear in a colored bar immediately above the field where I write messages) one time, but after I click the X to remove it, it comes back at various times while that person or persons remain out of office. Is there a way to have it only appear once? Or, if not, is there a way to just have it not appear at all? Everybody on my team knows when somebody is out.Solved27KViews4likes9Comments
