How can I group multiple windows to pop up together
The problem is Windows treats them as separate, so anytime I have something else full-screen over them. I have to go select each window to bring it back to the forefront. Is there a way that if I tab to any of these windows, it will bring all of them to the front?HarperParkerMay 19, 2025Iron Contributor16Views0likes1Comment- YatesGriffinMay 19, 2025Iron Contributor10Views0likes1Comment
I got a Trojan for the first time
I got a Trojan, immediately turned off WiFi, full scan with Microsoft defender, Offline scan, booted into safe mode, deleted all temp files, all suspicious files, it was Trojan Wacatac:H!Ml I'm pretty sure. Nothing weird has happened with my pc rn, powered it off, scared to power it on again. Am I safe? I'll download malware bytes next time I boot it up and run a scan. I'm really scared.HoltSawyeMay 19, 2025Iron Contributor18Views0likes1CommentCan i make a system image on the same drive i want to restore it to?
Long story short, tried restarting the PC, couldn't boot it to windows, tried everything and couldn't boot/repair it. Seems to me that HDD is a goner. I'm using a USB drive with Hiren's Boot installed and HDD seems to be accessible and there is a tool in Hiren's Boot to make system images. Planning to buy a new SSD at the same size as my HDD. My question is, can i restore my windows on my new SSD if i were to create the system image on the SSD i want to restore it on? I don't have any drives large enough to store the image to and i don't want to risk putting it on my corrupt HDD (the current windows i am unable to boot is installed to) I know i can use third party programs to do 1:1 image but 1- Not sure if the corruption will carry over and i'll end up with a windows i cannot boot to again (corrupt windows not the corruption on the drive) 2- I don't want to eat away the health of my new SSD by writing a whole 2 TB of "useless" data if it were to not work. If the answer is no and i simply HAVE TO get a drive i want to store the image to, how much storage will i need for a 2 TB system image? I know the question might stupid but AFAIK system image file is not as large as the "image" itself.FinneasHayesMay 19, 2025Iron Contributor14Views0likes1CommentHow does "user" folder on C drive work?
I have several drives in my computer. The main drive is a 1tb hp laptop drive, but i have a 500G drive, a 2TB drive, & a mostly empty 6TB drive. This Frankenstein computer is a desktop my brother built after my laptop died. I intend on cloning the laptop drive to a new drive but haven't been able to yet (mostly cause I'm scared lol). I have moved everything I know I safely can off of my C Drive to make space but it's still full. I produce music so my C Drive has all of my music software on it but I have moved all of the old regular stuff, as well as all of my saved music files. I know I had issues with FL in the past because it saves stuff in the user file on the windows C drive, as well as the onedrive file which is weird because ive never used onedrive. so if certain stuff moves it no longer works in FL studio, but with the C drive full I also cannot record. Plus the C drive says "154MB free of 913GB" even though I just moved 8GBs of old stuff. Not sure what I can do. I really only need a little bit of space until I can do the cloning process. Can I zip files?GageWilderMay 19, 2025Iron Contributor27Views0likes1CommentMicrosoft Camera App having issues taking photos with UHD webcams
I've been using the Microsoft Camera App to take photos using an SD webcam without issues. Since that resolution is sometimes too low I've bought a 4K webcam. Using this new webcam I very frequently getting an error message: 0xA00F4250 PhotoCaptureStartFailed (0x80070018). See screenshot below. The Microsoft Photo Booth App shows the same behaviour. On my desktop I can take one photo and after that constantly getting this error. When I fiddle with the focus option I often can take one photo again after that the error again. On my laptop I can take a couple of photo's and then getting the error a few times, which repeats itself. Both computers are powerful with enough memory and disk. Still on Windows 10 though. When I set the resolution to the lower HD value in the App the error is much less. And on SD (like the old webcam) never shows the errors. There is a list of options to try on a page of "The Windows Club", but none help. Other sources on internet all point to this page or have copied these options. Anybody out there with a 4K webcam who can check if this is an issue in the camera App? Or maybe with a solution? Thanks!TwoTowersMay 18, 2025Copper Contributor2.8KViews1like5CommentsCan't turn off real-time protection on Windows 10
I'm experiencing challenges when attempting to disable Windows Security features, particularly the real-time protection component. Despite my efforts, I'm unable to find a way to permanently turn it off.SolvedYhooumMay 18, 2025Iron Contributor428Views0likes4CommentsHow do i get rid of these widget things?

Is it Possible to reveal the windows password in my PC without doing a reset. I do not need it to get into the PC as when it boots it automatically and starts ok. I need to to be able to see the passwords I have in Google Chrome. When I want to see the Stored Passwords in Chrome it asks me for the Windows User Name and Password. I know the User Name but not the Windows Password. Do not want to reset it just to know what it is. Thanks, RickZR1-638HPMay 16, 2025Copper Contributor24Views0likes1Comment
