After unplugging the power cord while the laptop was still on, the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi icons disappeared. In similar situations before, I was able to resolve the issue by unplugging peripherals, holding down the power button to discharge the battery, restarting the laptop, and updating the drivers. However, this method did not work this time, and an “Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)” entry with an exclamation mark appeared in Device Manager. I tried disabling and then re-enabling the device, but the exclamation mark remained. I also tried plugging in peripherals into all USB ports, but that didn’t help either. Following the discharge procedure temporarily restores Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, but they disappear again shortly afterward. I’ve confirmed that the drivers are up to date, so I’m looking for other effective solutions.

In the virtual machine, having too many windows open has caused a memory leak and lag. After dragging a window, the software closes automatically. The mouse can then move and hover normally, but neither the left nor right buttons respond.

The keyboard works fine, and Task Manager shows memory usage at 60%. Is it possible to restore mouse click functionality without restarting the virtual machine?

hi everyone, i need help finding a linux distro for my moms computer running windows 10, her computer is a Microsoft Surface Book 3. The specs are, i7-1065G7, 32 GB of DDR4, GTX 1650 MAX-Q and 500GB SSD. I'm debating on choosing mint because thats what i usually use for the laptops that i have. She really just wants somehting that works and looks just like windows, she's not picky or anything, if you guys have any suggesstions feel free to let me know.

My Google Chrome changed and I obviously have some kind of virus on my Windows 11 and I suspect it may be a browser extension or something that was unknowingly downloaded. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to delete any of the Google folders from my files, even when running as the administrator. I tried deleting Google in Safe Mode but I still get the same issue. Has anyone managed to find a fix for this?

Cannot get out of s mode on windows 10

I have tried a few different ways to get out of s mode but none worked, i have even reset my entire laptop and the same exact problem was still there.

It had turned on when my laptop warned me it was on 10% battery and completely shut off after a minute, after i turned it back on it gave me a securityhealthsystray bad image pop up which idk if it has anything to do with the s mode problem but it happened along with it.

Any advice would be appreciated as im not very good with computers.

Hi folks,

Got a weird issue here. An iPhone was charging like normal, then suddenly went completely dead. No screen, no vibration, nothing. Tried holding the power button, plugging into different cables/chargers, and still no response at all.

Also attempted a force restart, but not sure if it's even registering since the screen stays black. Starting to wonder if this is a battery issue, charging port problem, or something more serious like the logic board. What is the best way to fix iPhone died while charging?

Replaced the internal SSD of my MacBook Air and I need to reinstall macOS Sequoia on it. Now, I get a bit confused about the download part. Most guides mention downloading the installer first, but I'm specifically looking for a DMG file that can be used to build a bootable USB on Mac or even Windows.

From what I've learnt, Apple doesn't really provide a direct macOS Sequoia DMG download. Instead, the official way seems to be downloading the full installer from the Mac App Store. Some sites mention .pkg (InstallAssistant) files or IPSW images, but not sure if those are safe or recommended for creating bootable media.

So just wondering:

Is there a legit way to get a macOS Sequoia DMG directly?
