I’ve encountered this issue with at least three different programs:

They open normally during the initial installation, but at some point, they stop opening altogether.

Reinstalling the software or even reinstalling the operating system doesn’t help. Double-clicking the icon does nothing, and trying to run it as an administrator or in compatibility mode also fails—the mouse cursor just spins in a circle and then stops responding. Please help with a solution.
