Windows 10 Freezing After Latest Security Update
After the most recent Windows 10 security update, my computer started experiencing constant freezing issues. Before this update, the system was working normally without any performance problems. The freezing happens during simple tasks, such as typing text, copying and pasting, or opening applications like Word and Chrome. When it occurs, the system becomes completely unresponsive for several seconds. Sometimes the entire interface freezes, and I have to wait for the system to respond again. This behavior started immediately after the latest security update was installed. It feels as if the system is constantly struggling to process basic actions, which makes normal use of the computer very difficult. Because of these freezes, even basic tasks such as writing documents or browsing the internet have become frustrating and unreliable. I suspect the issue may be related to the recent security update, since the problem did not exist before it was installed. I would like to know if other users are experiencing the same issue after the latest Windows 10 security update, or if there are any known solutions or fixes available.Faniih23Mar 12, 2026Occasional Reader36Views0likes0CommentsWindows 11 Pro upgrade from Windows 10 without losing data?
I have an old PC running Windows 10 Home. Is it possible to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro on this device? It comes with Intel i7 6500 CPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and 1 TB HDD. I downloaded the Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft and run the setup.exe. The problem is that I can't finish the upgrade as it Windows 11 Setup says: This processor isn't supported for this version of Windows. I am looking advices for windows 11 pro upgrade from windows 10. I hope keep all apps and personal files.AshleyyeMar 12, 2026Copper Contributor82Views0likes7CommentsYour First Windows (Win 10) PC ...
I was cleaning up my hard drives and came across some old PC builds. This was my first ever Windows PC. It was a custom build by a company called Kustom PCs based in Scotland. Although I have some photos, I never documented the specific components, so I have no clue what's in this Cooler Master WaveMaster case. But I do know it's 2005, the CPU is Intel and the graphics card nVidia / EVGA Those games were my entire collection at the time, and I have to say, looking back, not a bad set of choices! I do miss that era of gaming (and the prices! £34.99 for a AAA game, how times have changed!) What was your first Windows PC?CainyMar 12, 2026Brass Contributor20Views0likes0CommentsHow much privacy could you get on a Windows 10 PC?
I switched to Linux Mint and it was too much for me because I don't have time to learn all these commands, I work as a video editor and I own a Davinci Resolve Studio license but it took me 5 hours to get it to work on Linux (they officially support Rocky Linux distro, not Mint). Eventually I found a guy who made some script to make it work, so if this guy dies and Davinci Resolve gets an update, I'll be unemployed. I heard a lot about Linux being "so customizable" but actually turned out to be way less customizable than windows. Yes I spent most of my time taking commands from chatgpt and pasting the errors I get back to chatgpt. I really underestimated how the system works. I'm back on windows now, I'm having really hard time accepting this but I really need windows to put food on the table (I know I can dual boot but then what's the point). I use mullvad VPN, Firefox, DuckDuckGo search engine, O&O app buster, simplewall and ShutUp. I use protonmail for emails and I completely nuked OneDrive from my pc and using a local account. Is there more that I can do? I'm becoming really obsessed with privacy to the point that it's annoying me, I was even looking how to become my own ISP lol. I removed 9 years of my photos from google photos and saved them on an external drive.HarolderMar 12, 2026Brass Contributor25Views0likes0CommentsHow can I download Windows 10 professional iso file now?
I need to reinstall Windows on my desktop PC and specifically need the Windows 10 Pro 64-bit ISO file. However, I can't find a way to download Windows 10 Pro file for 64 bit anymore. Most pages redirect me to the Windows 11 download page or require using the Media Creation Tool, which does not always give me the exact ISO file I want. My goal is to get a clean Windows 10 Professional 64-bit ISO so I can create a bootable USB and perform a fresh installation. I would prefer downloading the ISO file directly instead of upgrading through Windows Update. Does anyone know a safe and official way to download Windows 10 Professional ISO file for 64 bit now? Thanks in advance!WillienoodMar 11, 2026Copper Contributor104Views0likes8Comments- JabarinniMar 11, 2026Copper Contributor11Views0likes0Comments
How can I remotely control iPhone from Mac without usb cable?
I plan to manage the phone wirelessly, such as controlling the screen, opening apps, or navigating the interface directly from my Mac. Most of the solutions I found seem to require a wired connection through USB, which I want to avoid. This is why I need to find a way to remotely control my iPhone from my Mac without using a USB cable. Ideally, I'm looking for a wireless method over Wi-Fi that allows full control of the iPhone from macOS. I don't mind using third-party apps if they work reliably, but I prefer something stable and easy to set up. Has anyone successfully done this? What tools or methods do you recommend for remotely controlling an iPhone from a Mac wirelessly?Dornier5Mar 10, 2026Copper Contributor90Views0likes6CommentsWindows 10 ltsc download for enterprise edition 64 bit
I heard Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC is still with official support. Is there a safe and official way to download Windows 10 LTSC Enterprise Edition 64-bit, preferably as an ISO file so I can create a bootable USB and install it on one of my PCs. I checked the normal Microsoft download page, but it seems they only provide regular Windows 10 editions there. I specifically need Windows 10 LTSC Enterprise Edition 64-bit because I want a more stable system without frequent feature updates. I plan to use it on a workstation where stability is more important than the newest features. Does anyone know the best place to download Windows 10 LTSC ISO of Enterprise Edition 64-bit?PaulloadMar 10, 2026Iron Contributor221Views0likes6CommentsShould I just disconnect it from the Internet?
Is it ok to continue using Windows 10 for gaming? I haven’t used Windows since Windows XP (Well a small bit of Windows 10 at uni). I finally built my first gaming PC recently and found out I absolutely hate using Windows 11. I tried out Bazzite too (Basically SteamOS) but wasn’t that keen and it has a lot of options to configure and my controller was laggy, I’m too exhausted to configure it properly. I then tried Windows 10 and honestly it was so much better than Windows 11, aside from not needing to sign in the layout is just that little bit better. I only have Steam and Firefox/Brave installed, is it ok to just use it for gaming and keep it disconnected most the time?RaylanderMar 09, 2026Copper Contributor46Views0likes2Comments
