Show a notification when VPN connection disconnects on its own - PPTP/L2TP/SSTP/IKeV2 - built in Windows 10 connection There needs to be a notification when VPN connection automatically and silently disconnects on its own. when the VPN server drops the connection or something happens to the VPN server/connection, the VPN on Windows 10 silently turns off and user is not notified, that makes us use the non-VPN connection without us knowing and causes further issue for our work. the VPN connection I'm referring to is made through Windows 10 settings =>Network & Internet => VPN. so please add a notification so Windows notifies us when this happens. upvote this suggestion in feedback hub app:https://aka.ms/AAah9mgSolved8KViews2likes8CommentsImproving Sticky Notes app - Feedbacks
Add an option to the Sticky Notes app to close all opened notes and return them all to the List Currently we have to close opened notes one by one which is time consuming and mostly users prefer to close the whole app entirely which is not productive. there needs to be a button on the Sticky notes app to close and return all opened notes to the Main sticky notes list. https://aka.ms/AA6dxd3 An option to set Reminder on Notes saved in Sticky Notes app Sticky Notes could be connected to To-Do list and Calendar for that matter. https://aka.ms/AA6ejcs Please upvote any of the feedbacks that you agree on.1.4KViews0likes1CommentDisabling mod installation for a game shouldn't require us to download the whole game again
After enabling mods for games, e.g. Halo MCC, and then when we want to disable it, we need to download the whole game again (120GB). this is a crazy requirement, and shouldn't happen. we should be able to enable mod installation for a game, use our mods, then when we are done with it, go back to the original state without having to reinstall the whole game again. Xbox app should be able to VERIFY game files and if needed, replace any files, or get rid of files that shouldn't be in the game folder. upvote this feedback in feedback hub:https://aka.ms/AAal5by1.2KViews0likes2CommentsLock the taskbar option should prevent from accidentally rearranging pinned items
Lock the taskbar option should Lock the taskbar and prevent from accidentally rearranging pinned items or Pinning new items to the taskbar currently lock the taskbar only prevents from accidentally dragging taskbar and moving it left/right/top. that actually never happened to me, when the taskbar is unlocked, I've never ever accidentally dragged the taskbar and moved it left/right/top. but instead it's happened lots of times when I accidentally added a new icon to taskbar, rearranged icons, deleted new icons, Unpinned an icon from taskbar. I need Lock the taskbar to prevent from these accidents too. this is more important and useful and makes more sense. please upvote this suggestion in the feedback hub:https://aka.ms/AAainq9835Views1like0CommentsAdd visual indications to see which clipboard Item is Pinned in Windows 10 clipboard history panel
There is absolutely no visual indication to see which clipboard item is Pinned when you press Win + V. only when you right-click on each of the items to see if it says "unpin" or not. this is not enough, there needs to be a visual indication, such as a highlight or shadows around the Pinned item to show it is Pinned. upvote this suggestion in the feedback hub app:https://aka.ms/AAah9mm985Views1like0CommentsSuggestion: Drawing solid shapes in the Microsoft Whiteboard app
I would like to suggest a feature where we can add solid shapes to the Microsoft Whiteboard app which will make it good for people who use it for teaching as some teachers in my classes use this app but find it cumbersome when coming to drawing a solid shape like Circle, Square, Rectangle, etc. It would also help many others who use this app. If you like this feature, then please click the following link to upvote it through the feedback hub app and make it a part of the app in the future: https://aka.ms/AA90zag6.4KViews1like0CommentsSuggestion: Notification when charging of a device is complete
I have been using Windows 10 on my laptop for years. The problem is that when you start charging your device and you are working on the device, you tend to forget that computer is charging leaving it to charge on 100% for hours which has now resulted lessening in the lifespan of my battery. So, I want to suggest that there should be a notification when the charging of a device is complete which lets us know that we can turn off charging of our device. Edge classic browser has this feature built-in, the ability to add little sticky notes on the screenshots we take. for people with no touch support and without digital pen, it's almost impossible to write something on the screenshots taken, with mouse it looks awful. if we could add small sticky notes to the screenshots taken via Snip & Sketch app that would be very helpful. because then we could type in those small areas normally.
