optional suggestion: new menu bar app for mac
i wish i could launch one of my edge profile (no matter from which edge) directly in the menu bar. so you create a profile launcher.app and then i can search a profile installed on my 4 browser, without need to launch a browser. at the moment we can do similar things once the browser is launched using the dock icon or using the sync icon or using the menu bar option inside edge. but there is still the limit that we can do it for one browser. we cannot search profiles installed on all 4 browser. plus every time you launch the browser, you open the last used profile. so we first need to close and then switch (which requires time). profile switching is slower in edge compared to google. now with this new app you would simply launch a profile inside an edge app, without launching the previous profile.Show the number of favorites/bookmarks in Edge in edge://favorites/
I want to know how many bookmarks/favorites I have (excluding folders), just pure favorite items but due to having multiple folders, It's hard to CTRL + A (select all shortcut) on each folder, add the numbers one by one to find out how many bookmarks/favorites I have. please add the number somewhere in here: edge://favorites/ everyone will benefit from it. also it helps to detect if any favorites are duplicated.Suggestion: Add page up and Page down button to PDF reader in Microsoft Edge
I have been using Microsoft Edge PDF reader for months now and have been loving it but the problem I find when using different PDF readers such as Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Teams PDF reader is that there is no page up and page down button in PDF reader in Microsoft Edge. I sometimes want to just go to the next page or the previous page but then I need to manually scroll to change the page, if there is an up and down button then it would just take me to the next page with a click and also align the page properly from the start in the window. If you like this suggestion, please consider sending feedback about it through the in-app feedback tool (Alt+Shift+I) in Microsoft Edge from your side as it would give this suggestion a +1 helping it make a part of Microsoft Edge in the future.
Edge is better than Arc?
I recently tried "The ARC browser" (windows build) and I believe that apart from some visual elements and hype, edge is better or at least at par with it. Although the new tab opening style and the space changing way is better there, with a few improvements and more importantly with better publicity, Edge could be and should be the most popular browser out there. Thoughts?
paste from clipboard to upload to a site
Hi, I would like to suggest a feature that is a quality-of-life for designers. the ability to copy an image or multiple Photoshop layers and paste them in a sharing site like Instagram or Twitter. The thing with most sharing sites is that require browsing to an existing image file to upload it, but Opera GX can intercept that and reccomened uploading from clipboard or recently downloaded images. This is a huge improvment for those who have to create daily Instagram posts and reduces the clutter in their folders.
Ability to disable or hide volume button in Windows 11 taskbar
I run the main computer systems in a local radio station, and we are currently running on very old machines running Windows 10. As I also did all of the level adjust and calibration, I found that people really liked to mess with the volume slider and throw off the calibration all the time, so I disabled the volume icon with a group policy on the studio computers, and that has more or less fixed that. As far as I know, with the new Windows 11 taskbar, there is no way to get a similar functionality, and volume is always accessible. We're planning on upgrading machines over the course of the year, but as long as that volume icon stays there, I am going to have a hard time moving those studio machines up to Windows 11.
