Error when updating windows

Good Afternoon,

I am getting this error after update is done and laptop is restarts.

I did try the following steps without luck.

    Unplug any external devices like USB drives, external hard drives, or memory cards, as they can sometimes interfere with the update process .

    Hi, the exact error code would help a lot here. In the meantime, I would run the Windows Update troubleshooter, then open an elevated command prompt and run DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth followed by sfc /scannow. If it still fails after restart, clear the Windows Update cache by stopping the update services and renaming SoftwareDistribution. Also unplug nonessential devices during the update attempt.

      thank you for your reply. The exact error code is 0xc1900101.

      I did try the steps in your message but I am still having the same problem  after restart.

      Do you tink a clean install will help?
