I have a problem where Im trying to watch Netflix and disney+ in 4K but every time I try It wont go higher than 1080p. My computer is more than capable of handling 4K with ease as I Have a RTX 3070Ti Graphics Card, and an i7-14700F CPU. Im running on Windows 10 pro, My Computer is HDCP compatible, yes I am using a HDMI 2.1 cable, And I have HEVC installed. I am also connected to Ethernet and my Wifi is more than fast enough to stream 4k as it works on the 4k chromecast in the house. There is literally nothing else I can do except change my microsoft playready version to 3.0 (3000). On microsoft Edge I have looked at the other requirements to run 4k in GPU internals and I Have DRM Experiment turned on. Some help would be greatly appreciated Because This is the reason Netflix app and Edge is force using AVC instrad of HEVC.99Views0likes0CommentsIssue with "Edit with Paint 3D" Functionality
I have recently encountered an issue with Paint 3D. When I try to edit a picture using Paint 3D by right-clicking on the photo and selecting "Edit with Paint 3D," I am unexpectedly prompted to choose an app to open the file instead of Paint 3D launching directly. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or does anyone have any insights on why this might be happening and how to resolve it? Thank you for your assistance! Following was done: Reinstall Paint 3D Open Microsoft Store: Go to the Start menu and open the Microsoft Store. Search for Paint 3D: In the search bar, type "Paint 3D." Reinstall Paint 3D: If the app is installed, you can click "Open." If it’s not installed or you suspect it might be corrupted, click "Install" or "Get" to reinstall it. Ensure Paint 3D is Enabled Open Settings: Press Win + I to open Settings. Go to Apps: Navigate to "Apps" and then "Apps & features." Find Paint 3D: Scroll through the list of installed apps to find "Paint 3D." Ensure It’s Enabled: If you find it, make sure it’s not disabled. If it is, re-enable it. Associate Image Files with Paint 3D Manually Right-click on the Image File: Right-click on an image file. Select Properties: Choose "Properties" from the context menu. Change the Default Program: In the Properties window, click the "Change" button next to "Opens with." Manually Find Paint 3D: Click "More apps" if Paint 3D is not listed. Scroll down and click "Look for another app on this PC." Navigate to C:\Program Files\WindowsApps and look for the Paint 3D executable. Note that you may need administrative permissions to access this folder. Use the Default Apps Settings Open Settings: Press Win + I to open Settings. Go to Apps: Navigate to "Apps" and then "Default apps." Reset Default Apps: Scroll down and click "Reset" under "Reset to the Microsoft recommended defaults." Change Defaults Manually: After resetting, try setting Paint 3D as the default app for your image files again. Check for System Updates Open Settings: Press Win + I to open Settings. This might take a while.
I have WDS and MDT configured to deploy windows 10 to Lenovo ThinkPad 15 Gen2 along with network driver and all the things needed. Due to a minor misconfiguration right network drivers were not being injected. But when we are doing the same windows 10 installation through Bootable USB, we won't be including any drivers in that, but that still works. What I don't understand is the whole WDS deployment happens on the private network which doesn't need internet which I am being mandated for the process after MDT GUI has done its work the laptop restarts and saying "Checking the connection to Microsoft. This might take a while." as the landing page and getting stuck there for hours not letting me go any further. Please help me understand the part where it says it is trying to connect to Microsoft and getting stuck meaning it is trying to connect to internet when there is no need for that.2KViews0likes4CommentsWindows 10 Phone Reset Protection

I've used windows 10 bootable pendrive to boot in c drive in my dell laptop. I've formatted the C drive after that when I've install windows it was not able to install in C drive, finds some solution from internet that when I convert MBR file to GPT file windows will install. So l have used command prompt to convert c drive. But it was denied and so I have used clear option in command prompt. Due to this my d and e drive accidentally clear. I've lost all data for d and e drive which I've stored almost 10 years. After that I want to recover my data therefore I've given my laptop to expert who have installed windows 10 in C drive. After that they recovered data by using some recovery tools. By the recovery tool they provide data in separate folder as jpg file, mp4 file, doc file etc. but the file name was changed and I've not got recovered data as my folder and file name structure which was as before installing windows. When they installed windows on my system only C drive is there after that they allocated one more drive i.e. D drive. Before installing windows I've 3 drive in my system i.e. c,d and e. After formatting and reinstalled windows it shows 2 drive i.e. c and d. I have also used data recovery tools with help of YouTube video. After scanning full drive by recovery tool, it shows one drive with same folder name structure. But still one drive was missing. I am sharing image which I have taken after data recovery tools. Now my question is that after these happened to my system can I recover my full data from system which I've lost with same folder ne structure. Please suggest me the solution for data recovery It will help me like life saving.2.1KViews1like4CommentsPrevent auto restart to install updates
I left my computer for 2-3 hours and it restarted on its own to install updates. Gone is my entire workspace with the edit history in Visual Studio. We need to prevent Windows 10 from restarting on its own. This causes damage, downtime and interrupts the professional work process. People lose money and stop using Microsoft products. I was asked by Microsoft support to write this here. case 1029920795812Views0likes1Comment
