Azure migration from Old Company that filed Bankruptcy
Hey everyone! We have a unique situation with a customer regarding Azure tenant/workloads. The customer has purchased a company that went bankrupt a few months back, and have inherited their assets which includes a SaaS product hosted on Azure. Microsoft has been sending them invoices for the outstanding balance of the Azure consumption under the old company which is still hosting the application (with active customers). Now they need to move to a new tenant under their name - which is where we are helping them, but they want to find out if we transfer this workload to the new tenant, will the balance be attached to the new company (even though we have paperwork that they have purchased the company)? They are considering moving away to GCP or AWS if it is attached, but we are trying to get them to stay on Azure. We haven't been able to get a straight answer from anywhere. We also want to make sure their application doesn't go down in the event MS decides to shut it off. Can someone guide us in the right direction to someone that can help us - the correct billing/legal/AR dept at MS to get the right answer? Your help is appreciated!

For anyone here who is/was Top Tier in FY25: You ARE eligible for the Build and Publish incentive (up to $100k) through 31 December - even though you might have been told otherwise. Hello TSPs, We've announced on the last two monthly community calls that an update was coming to the Metrics that Matter (MTM) survey currently leveraged for the TSP quality scoring metrics. Attached is a refreshed MTM overview document which contains the new questions that will go live on November 1, 2025. From a partner performance or operations perspective there is no action for you - you'll see the survey automatically update on November 1. If you have custom data slices on your MTM dashboard you may want to update those data connections once the questions are live on November 1. Within the attached document you'll find additional FAQs. If you have additional questions, please post them below so that I can answer for the entire forum. The MTM support page can be found here.
