Limiting admins to specific domains and licenses quantities
Hi There, I have a tenant with only one domain at the moment which is of the main organization. I'm planning three more domains and each of these additional domains belong to a company who are subsidiaries of the main company. I am aware adding domains won't be an issue but however my question is as below; Can I create custom admins with each of them tied/limited managing, creating and updating users specific to the given domain(s) including the limiting of licenses (e.g.: admin B can only create up to 50 users under domain B). So that, as a main admin, I can oversee and control the domains, licenses and users.SolvedazkermOct 07, 2024Copper Contributor214Views0likes2CommentsM365 Admin Center Integrated Report Message for few users in Outlook

Hello Microsoft Community! In our Org , using the powershell module MSCommerce, we have already set the AllowSelfServicePurchase policy to Disabled for all products as we do not want our Members to purchase licenses or sign up for trials on their own. This has not stopped our Members from making requests for licenses. We'd like to have our Members utilize our established process for requesting licenses vs using SelfServe. Is it possible to stop this altogether vs only being able to disable the purchasing function? Here is an example of our policy status and the weekly digest email we just received.SolvedAaronAdministratorJul 31, 2024Copper Contributor346Views0likes3CommentsCan't change PasswordExpirationPolicy of all users with Update-MgUser
Hello, Ive got into a problem where we disabled Password expiration in the GUI but some account keep having it enabled when you look with Powershell. Microsoft provides a guide where they explain hot to set all users policy to never expire, sadly it doesn't work, I've tried it in several Tenants already. Here is the link to the guide: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/add-users/set-password-to-never-expire?view=o365-worldwide The command: Get-MGuser -All | Update-MgUser -PasswordPolicies DisablePasswordExpiration The error when the command is used: Update-MgUser_UpdateViaIdentityExpanded: The pipeline has been stopped. Exception: InputObject has null value for InputObject.UserId I know that you should set a UserID as a scope for it to work, but this isn't possible as far as I know on update-mguser. Please help me find a solution to update everyone's PasswordExpirationPolicy to never expire. I was thinking about creating a script that goes through every userid and performs the action, but my knowledge isn't as advanced to create it.SolvedtalobauJul 08, 2024Copper Contributor432Views0likes1Comment- Hoffmann2032Jun 26, 2024Copper Contributor757Views0likes4Comments
Exchange admin center Delegation permissions error
I am having a strange issue with Exchange Admin Centre I am signed in as a Global Administrator but when I go to a user's mailbox and then to the delegation tab I get the following error. I wouldn't think it was a permissions issue as I have been fine for years with my current ones.SolvedJimmy-StuffinsJun 18, 2024Copper Contributor3KViews0likes17CommentsChange M365Plan

So I have an email thats being used with a system. The email is on the lines of "support {at} domainname . c0m" . Now this works fine for the support system, but the system sends back an email on the line of "support {at} domainname . onmicrosoft. com". So when you reply to it, its like your replying to a completely different email to the original and confuses the system. If it helps, they both show up as smtp:xxxxxx in the properties area and from what I gather, the onmicrosoft in an internal domain? Is there a default one you can use? If it helps, the system is Jira Service Management. CheersSolvedcalvin_evirdApr 29, 2024Copper Contributor603Views0likes3Comments
