Raising support requests
Not sure what is going on but with the admin centre now if you raise a service request I can only request that someone calls me. Then aside from that I cannot raise a secondrequest until that one has been closed. Also the View Service requests just takes you back to the same screen and does not show any old requests or anything. Very poor if they are now limiting a Global Admin to just 1 request at a time.Peter LongleyApr 19, 2017Iron Contributor17KViews1like59CommentsDelist Portal not working
Greetings, I'm trying to delist my server's IP address using this form, but all I get is the following error when I try to submit the form: Step 1:Our messaging service has experienced a temporary issue, please resubmit your information below. See screenshot I've been trying to resubmit, but it never works. Don't know where to issue a bug report. In my tenant the OneDrive and SharePoint Usage reports on Office 365 Admin Center (newest version) is displaying GUID links and GUID username rather than the human comprehensible data. Example: "Site owner" : "[PII:H101(TLQB7b12eF+wrhXUxljRIasPiZTFmQiRjm09Khev5+Q=):E243(bF+sGeBqHCnTA7sxqQNHOK/uD5IFVCt0j+m+LuwNAHYvob+T4ITlgHfG3z0yQeOMK44XsDDb0fSiB0PwxYd3Tg==)]" I have a ticket entered for Microsoft Online Support, but since it typically takes a few conversations with them before they even understand the issue rather than trying to through back at me the first two solutions they managed to google based on the first words out of my mouth after hello, I though I would query the group. Is this happening out there or is it just my tenant. Service Health seems to only be reporting an issue they caused with the "classic"/"old" version of Office 365 Admin Reports. Thanks. All users receive "Your organization needs more information to keep your account secure" when logon o365 web portal. Users can select "skip for now (XX days until is required)" but it will finally require all users to provide it. I will have some user accounts to use on some applications or devices which must logon without multi-factor authentication and password should never changed. I have checked that themulti-factor authentication page of the"MULTI-FACTOR AUTH STATUS" for all users are disabled.I also checked that the "Self service password reset enabled" is set to "none". I don't have idea why all users still receive such message. How can I disable this message and requirement to all user accounts? Thank you.Solvedmicroc1Feb 07, 2020Copper Contributor492KViews1like24CommentsUnable to find the security alert in M365 Defender referenced in an email alert.
This happens a lot. I get these emails from Office365Alerts notifying our team that "A medium-severity alert has been triggered". At the bottom of the email is a link to "View alert details". When I click that, the site shows an error: "Can't find it.Either what you are looking for doesn't exist or you need to use a different search string." So, then I go to the Alerts view and filter to show everything (at least I think I am) but there's nothing related to this particular alert (unusual volume of file sharing). Where did it go? EDIT: Including a screenshot of another email I got today. The result of clicking the 'View alert details' is again the same.Anthony-123Nov 14, 2023Iron Contributor18KViews3likes22CommentsBest Practices O365 Admin Roles
For large Enterprises, what's the recommendation for assigning Admin Roles within O365(Global Admin, Billing Administrator, SharePoint Administrator, etc) -- do you assign individual names as Administrators or use more of a RBACand assign say the SharePoint Admin role to a shared AppID instead of individuals?escuphamAug 15, 2016Steel Contributor49KViews2likes19CommentsPortal homepage problems with Safari
I am an administrator of Office 365 and use a Mac and Safari. I have always problems to use this browser. I prefer use this and not other browsers for some other reasons. Why the Office 365 website is not full compatible with Safari on Mac? No restrictions on information and guide about Office 365 but pratically it give me more, more problems.Solved12KViews0likes19Comments
