User able to send mail with account locked
Hello and Happy New Year! I tried to go through the official M365 support channels on this issue, but they were unable to help me. Environment: Local Active Directory synced to Azure/M365 via Azure AD Connect All user mailboxes reside on Exchange Online We found out, via a external security audit, that we had an user account, which was both locked and had an expired password, that was still able to send email out via the iOS Outlook app. We were under the impression that if an account was locked that they could still receive email, but not send. The account was for an employee that is no longer active and thus has been archived and deleted. We are just hoping for an explanation/root cause of this and how we can hopefully prevent it from happening in the future. Thank you, Tony Martinac AMICViva Engage Items Show Up in Search Results

All major players provide their software for Linux as well (deb and rpm packages), except for apple and Microsoft. apple doesn't like playing nice with others, but I wonder how comes that Microsoft is so reluctant here? I had a chance to try outlook (native) on MacOS today. It is so much better than the web app. I'd love to have that on my Linux desktop.
OneDrive Data Location
Dear Microsoft 365 Business Experts, Thank you for reading this question. I have created my Microsoft 465 Business Basic account (.onmicrosoft.com) and I chose Canada as this account's country. When I logged into Microsoft 365 admin centre, under Data Location, the Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams' data is stored in Canada, which is good. However, when I check OneDrive, it doesn't specify the data's geographical location. Is there a way to set the data in OneDrive's geography to be in Canada? The company I am working for requires all the data to be stored in Canada. Thanks!
Email alert when roles are adjusted
Hi all, I've had a look around but can't find anything up to date that would help my issue. What we're after is an email alert whenever a 365 role is changed (user added or removed). Looking in Defender, there's only an alert for an Exchange Administrator change. Is there anyone who has something in production that would do this job? Kind regards Tom
Help...Cannot lock email pop out window orientation
I've never experienced this before, but when I open an email or reply to an email it pops out to another window. That's to be expected, but it pops it out to the top most portion of the screen just to the right of middle of screen. This sends my OCD off a cliff, so I drag it down to the bottom left most corner of the screen. The issue I experience is that never holds. How can I lock the pop out to the bottom left corner of my screen?
Mail enabled AD accounts
I have a question about email delivery to Mail enabled AD accounts. I am aware that these types of accounts are useful when you need to provide an external person like a contractor a login but don't want to provide them with a mailbox. You can add their external email address to the email field in Entra but they login with your companies UPN. Apparently there is also a license saving here as you dont need to assign them an E5 My questions are: If I put their UPN as the recipient of an email and send it will EXO fail to deliver it since they don't have an EXO mailbox? Or will it deliver to the external mail address set in the mail address field in their user account? How does advanced features like purview etc work if they don't have an E5?
