Teams Client, Guest User access, Separate Tenant
Hey Team, I am trying to figure out what i am missing here. This is what we have. 2x Tenants with Enterprise E3 licenses Some user accounts are sync'd between the 2 tenants, not all users We have added a guest user, and we need his account to be able to access our Tenants teams. When he goes to the Teams Web Client, he sees his org and ours. However in the teams fat client, he is not able to switch from his home tenant (tenant.com) to our tenant (tenant-business.com). My question is how do i get our tenant to show up in his teams client? I tried having him login using his #EXT# guest account, but it requires a password. Thanks, Robert

Tenant to Tentant Migrations - Which Third-Party Providers?
Hi there, We're going to be performing an O365 -> O365 migration for about 250 user accounts. I realise that we need to use third-party tools to do this and I've had experience using BitTitan.com for O365 migrations but the service is quite expensive and so I wondered if there were any other reasonably priced alternatives? We'd be looking at migrating Emails, Contacts, Calendar and personal OneDrives for all users. Thanks OllyHas anyone migrated from one Google Workspace to another after a company merger?
Hi all, Our company recently went through a merger and we now have two separate Google Workspace accounts that need to be consolidated into one. I need to move everything across, emails, contacts, calendars and tasks, for all users without anything getting lost in the process. Honestly not sure where to begin. Google's native tools seem limited for something like this and I don't want to start without a solid plan. Has anyone gone through a similar consolidation? How did you handle it and is there anything you wish you had known before starting?AutoSave disabled when opening SharePoint-synced files from Finder after macOS Tahoe 26.6 update
Files stored in SharePoint Online and synchronized locally through OneDrive are opened as local documents when launched from Finder. Office applications display "Saved to my Mac" and AutoSave is turned off by default. However, opening the exact same files through Word/Excel > Open > Sites, or via SharePoint "Open in Desktop App", correctly identifies them as cloud documents. In that scenario, AutoSave is enabled and collaboration/version history features work as expected. Troubleshooting already performed: OneDrive reset and re-linked SharePoint library re-synced Signed out and back into both Office and OneDrive Removed Microsoft credentials from macOS Keychain and re-authenticated Recreated local OneDrive sync relationships Verified OneDrive File Provider extensions are enabled Verified Office applications and OneDrive are fully up to date Tested with newly created files and existing files Tested "Always Keep on This Device" with no change in behavior The issue appears to be specific to the Finder-to-Office launch path after upgrading to macOS Tahoe 26.6. Before upgrading to macOS Tahoe 26.6, opening the same SharePoint-synchronized files directly from Finder correctly preserved cloud document identity and AutoSave was enabled as expected. I discussed this issue in detail with Apple Support, but they quickly dismissed it, saying that the problem is not on Apple's side and that I should contact Microsoft instead.
OneNote To Do tag changed to a radio button
After a recent update, the to-do tag still behaves like a checkbox but is styled as a radio control:. Here's why I say that. Some UI differences between radio and checkbox are: - Circle outlines convey a radio button control, and selection fills in most/all of the outline - Square outlines convey a checkbox control, and selection usually does not fill in the entire outline Radio controls are mutually exclusive by design (selecting one de-selects the others). They are not appropriate for a to-do list. Hi everyone, I'm looking for advice on managing email signatures organization-wide in Office 365. Right now, every user creates their own signature in Outlook. This has led to inconsistent branding and outdated contact details across the company. I explored a few built-in options, but nothing seems to give proper centralized control, and manually asking every user to update their signature isn't practical. I'm wondering if there's a better way to handle this natively within Microsoft 365, or if most organizations end up going with a third-party tool for this. Standardized succession planning process in Microsoft 365?
This might be a bit out there but I'm looking to build a succession planning system in our organization. Is there any way I can pull role information from Entra ID and automatically send out succession plan forms based on the individuals tenure so they can name successors? Possibly also create an attribute for potential successors for each role?Need to Restore PST Files to Office 365 Mailboxes - What's the Best Approach
Hey everyone, I have a task coming up where I need to restore several PST files back into Office 365 mailboxes. Haven't done this before at this scale and honestly not sure where to begin. I've looked at Microsoft's native import service through Purview but I have a few concerns: Some of the PST files are quite large — not sure how well it handles that I need to restore only specific folders for some users, not the entire PST I'm worried about data consistency after the restore Would prefer something that doesn't require too many admin roles or complex setup For those who have done PST to Office 365 restores — what approach worked best for you? Any tools, tips, or things to watch out for that you wish you knew before starting?
