An additional Sign In window appears for external users with whom we share files or folders through OneDrive and/or SharePoint. The window for entering the email appears (to validate that it's the intended recipient), but before entering the verification code, the Organization Sign In window appears. This sometimes requests a password, which can cause issues or even prevent users from sharing these folders with external users. Authentication flow example: Normally, step 2 is followed by step 4, but in my case, it's taking me to step 3 where I have to re-enter the email address I'd already entered in step 2. This isn't normal. In this case, there's no major problem with this email because it then asks for the verification code, and I log in without a problem. But for example, when I tried another email address, also from Gmail, it asks for a password to authenticate: Then I realized it's asking for my password because that email is associated with my GitHub account, and it's trying to authenticate with a password. However, this flow is incorrect because for authentication to SharePoint files shared with external users of the Tenant, it should only ask for the username and verification code. The fact that it asks me to enter my email twice, as in step 3 of each example, and that it occasionally asks me for a password, is incorrect in the flow, and I don't know how to change that.Solved65Views0likes1CommentHow can I turn off the OFFICE 365 TIPs?
I don't know what triggers an OFFICE 365 TIP, but I want to prevent them from appearing in the message bar. How can I do this? I've included a screen snip of one from Excel that I get all the time, and that I hate. These things are so annoying.45KViews3likes10CommentsMacros crashed Word, then disappeared, now back again but not working
My problem started with a few macros in Word (Office 365) crashing Word, then the list macros, while still showing up with Alt+F8, disappeared from VBA. I played around with templates and such, and now have the VBA showing the whole list of macro scripts. However, there is a red scroll icon on my macros list and I have had the message "Your organizations administrator turned off the service required to use this feature", which is odd because I am the administrator (this is a home Office 365 subscription). So I can see the macros in VBA but I can't run any of them, nor can I create any new macros. How do I get my macros up and running again? (I tried to 'repair' Office, and after the full repair ended up with a version of Word that isn't as customised as it used to be.) And what might be the cause of this problem?27Views0likes0CommentsInquiry Regarding Microsoft 365 E5 Developer Subscription Renewal

I have 2 different exchange accounts, for both I am utilizing Outlook 365. I am wanting to copy all my folders and their structure from one email address to the other (100+ folders). Is there an easy way to do this without re-building the entire structure? Bonus: Is it also possible to move the messages from one exchange account to the other so I can migrate all my messages into one account?21KViews1like8CommentsDibbling Microsoft AutoUpdate - macOS
I have a customer with a Mac mini M4 with multiple user accounts. Each user has an access to Office 365 apps, Outlook, Excel and Word. The issue I am having is with Microsoft AutoUpdate. I have turned off "Automatically keep Microsoft apps up to date" on all of the users. This has not stopped update application from opening and showing on each of the users there are updates available. If one of the users tries to run the update while an application is open by another user, it cause all kinds of problems. My questions is, "Is there another way to prevent AutoUpdate from indicating there are updates available? I am using Word for Mac to prepare a manuscript. I inserted a PDF figure with transparent background, which was created with Adobe Illustrator. It looks fine on my Mac. But when I transfer the document to a Windows computer, the transparent background of the figure becomes black. For other Office softwares, such as PowerPoint, similar issues also happen. I know if I convert the figure to png format would fix the issue. But I still want to stick on the PDF format since it's vector image and compatible with LaTeX. Can you figure out why is this happening and how to fix it? Thanks!!32Views0likes1Comment
