MICROSOFT O365 LICENSES TO ACCESS IN IRAN
Howdy Folks, Coming back to this tech community to get to know one important thing and it's really urgent to get to know this query coming up from Customer!! Could anyone let me know if the O365 licenses can be accessed by Iran Users who are living in IRAN. If no then please let me know can we provide the licenses from other country tenant like US,UK India etc to IRAN users?? Is it possible for them to access O365 Licenses? As per screenshot attached it says O365 can't be used in these countries...CUBA, IRAN and some others! Please help me out to get the exact answer!!
Functionality to mark a slide complete
I do not believe this functionality alread exists but I'm quite sure I'm not the only one that would love to have it added. Now when working in a larger powerpoint slide deck I start with adding a "traffic light" to my slides that's red, and when the slide is finished I turn it green. Then, before presenting I have to delete all traffic lights before the deck is truly ready. This way I can keep track of which slides still need attention and prevent myself from spending time on slides I shouldn't. Now I believe it would be very nice if it was a built in feature where you can mark individual slides as "complete / final" or "needs attention" with visual feedback of this status in for example the navigation pane. How do others handle this and is there a trick I do not know of?
OneNote breaks if I move it onto an external display
Hi guys I use OneNote extensively for work as my virtual notepad. At most of my working locations, I use my laptop - Dell Latitude 7440 - connected to either a Dell Docking station + 2 monitors, or a pair of samsung monitors which have an inbuilt hub, connect via USB-C and are daisychained together. I've never had any issues with OneNote in the past, but recently have found that if I try and move my OneNote window onto either external monitor, it seems to break OneNote - the whole window becomes just the index list which is normally a column on the left (where it shows all your notebooks and pages) and it won't actually display any of the content from the notebooks/pages. If I try minimizing that column, it has a complete breakdown as if its unable to properly load the actual page content. The only way to fix this is to drag the window back to my laptop screen and then close it and reopen. Has anyone else experienced this? It's really frustrating and affecting my productivity as I often need it side-by-side with other screens.
Bitlocker locking me out of laptop computer
I tried to start-up my laptop yesterday and I got a blue "Bitlocker" screen come up and it is asking for a recovery key. It notes the reason "..because Secure Boot policy has changed." I never installed Bitlocker, or set-up. Frankly, I never heard of it. I checked my microsoft log in and there was no bitlocker recovery key in there either. I haven't made any changes to the computer recently. Computer is an HP Envy with solid state drive I believe I am at a loss as to how to deal with this without loosing my data. I spoke to three computer guys and they were not familiar with the Bitlocker. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.Transfer MS Office 365 Business ownership from MSP to own MS Business account
Hello Everybody I need to transfer my clients MS Office 365 Business from current MSP to their own MS Business account. Current MSP very bad service. So, at the end they want to manage their Emails\Licenses on MS Admin Center. What are the steps on doing this?Is there a way I can see all activity in a shared calendar through an audit log or change log?
I am creating a vacation calendar that would allow all users to edit (add their own vacation/off days) and am worried that someone might accidentally delete someone else's vacation event. I want to have access to the logs to see who deleted the event if it ever happens. Where would I find that? Does it even exist? On the other hand, is there a way for me to set permissions so users can only edit their own content rather than a complete edit priv? Either a room calendar or shared mailbox? tried both briefly but havent been able to figure out how.
Is there an acceptable method to convert pub to docx?
Unfortunately Microsoft has decided to end Publisher. So users are forced to find methods both for archiving old files and converting current files to be able to continue working. For the first PDF will most likely be the easiest. For the second I've been trying to find a converter. This proves to be a challenge. And the results have been very unsatisfactory so far. My main publication is a brochure which is printed double-sided on A4 paper, stapled and then folded to A5 size. The publication contains 99% text boxes (with formatted text) and pictures. Here and there a shape like a horizontal line. All things that Word definitely supports. So converting it should be a no-brainer - at least I thought so. Of course Publisher can save as DOCX. Unfortunately the function only supports plain text. So the text boxes are removed, which means a lot of manual rework. Also the text isn't converted continuously. For exapmle the text that was on the first sheet in my Publisher file, ended up on page 5 in Word. Bottom line: not acceptable. Microsoft therefore don't even refer to that save function in their official communication to Publisher retirement. They suggest a workaround instead: save the file as a PDF and open it with Word. The suggestion is embarrassing enough, since it implies that Microsoft are unable to provide suitable conversion between their own formats. I tested it anyway. But the layout ends up in Word in a way that requires a lot of manual rework. Tab stops are partially removed, page margins are shifted. The pagination is also incorrect, so that some pages are half empty. Bottom line: not acceptable. Also tried some online converters. Unfortunately the results haven't been satisfying either. Most of them convert text boxes into shapes with integrated text boxes. And even worse: big text boxes are often split into several smaller boxes. In any case there still remains a lot of manual rework. Bottom line: halfway acceptable. Disappoiting Conclusion: At present, I consider it the best option to rebuild the file from scratch in Word using Copy-Paste. If someone knows a better method, would be happy to hear about it.
Microsoft 365 error 7q6ch , can't login to my microsoft account
Microsoft 365 for business account, getting a microsoft popup box everytime I open office to login. I enter my email address and the next screen is always an error "7q6ch" . I can login to office.com no problem. This error will not go away no matter what I do and here's what've done- removed all microsoft credentials, logged out of microsoft account, removed all accounts in settings, signed out of office, rand scannow, ran the fixes to delete the folders in app data, online repair, quick repair, ran the cmd promp and powershell fix, made a new profile, I uninstalled and reinstalled office, keep getting this popup. The only option I'm seeing is to wipe my computer which I really don't want to do. It's a windows 11 pro laptop I downloaded the office setup file from my office account and it's up to date. I believe this stems from microsoft making me enter an account in order to setup my computer and since it doesn't allow work email addresses I had to use my personal account which then logs in to app automatically and the computer get confused. I need help please, any suggestion or fixes are appreciated, thanks
Office 365 no internet error
Outlook just stopped working yesterday. I have been using 356 for a couple of years now. One drive and Outlook both say I don't have internet access. Obviously I do. I can use one drive and outlook via a web browser, but not the desktop apps. I have tried most of the suggested fixes and nothing has worked. Anyone else having issues?
